The job was billed hourly, yet it took the team 7 hours to load a 1,000 sq ft home--far longer than expected. However, when we arrived at the new house, everything was unloaded in just one hour, with little care or attention to placement. Items were not put in their designated rooms, rugs were not laid out, and several items we specifically requested to be moved (rugs, wall art, lamps, mirrors, etc.) were left behind entirely. We paid for disassembly and reassembly of furniture, but while they disassembled two beds (a king and a queen), and a sectional they did not reassemble them at the new home. To make matters worse, screws and parts were missing, forcing us to purchase replacements and put the beds back together ourselves late that night. None of the furniture was reassembled, despite this being part of the service we paid for. We felt completely misled about what to expect. One of the movers in particular was unprofessional. He attempted to convince us to get rid of a solid wood dresser because he didn't want to carry it, and it ultimately ended up damaged during the move therefore we had to get rid of it (approx $1,000 piece of furniture). When struggling to disassemble one of the beds, he was tightening screws instead of loosening them and even suggested he would "just trash it" if it were his. There was a clear lack of care, effort, and basic problem-solving. After the move, we reached out to the company to try to resolve these issues. The only resolution offered was $100, which felt extremely inadequate given the cost of the service and the number of problems we experienced. I do want to note that the other mover, Eugene was professional, hardworking, and respectful throughout the process. Unfortunately, his efforts were overshadowed by the overall experience. Our realtor with Stephen Cooley was notified about this experience and given the 2.5 stars of this company, the Stephen Cooley admin team removed Two Men and a Truck Rock Hill from their master recommendations list. All in all, we felt taken advantage of and would not recommend this company.

Unfortunately, my most recent move in September was the complete opposite. The job was quoted for 4-6 hours (a simple 2-bed, 2-bath move about 5 miles away), but it ended up taking over 12 hours. The movers arrived late, spent long stretches of time standing around or disappearing without explanation, and seemed completely unorganized. By the time they left, I was exhausted, frustrated, and completely disappointed. What should have been a routine move turned into an all-day ordeal caused by poor time management and lack of oversight. To make matters worse, after providing a detailed account and requesting a partial refund, my request was denied, despite the obvious inefficiency and lost time. I've always spoken highly of Two Men and a Truck, but this experience fell far below the professionalism and reliability I've come to expect. I'm extremely disappointed and will be reconsidering whether to use or recommend this company again in the future.

Belkis ensured that some of our specific moving needs were very thoughtfully accommodated. We sincerely and deeply appreciated this consideration. Our lead mover Thiago was a champ! He safely made his way a very long distance with all of our belongings. The assisting crew that loaded and unloaded were hard working, friendly, respectful with calm steady energy. Moving is never easy but Belkis and her curated team could not have made it any easier. Communications were excellent. The heart and soul of the company shined through and we felt it. It was the best and most human connected moving experience we've ever experienced. We would absolutely call them again if we needed them, we would wholeheartedly recommend them. We even felt like we made a dear friend. Gracias por todo. Te deseo todo lo mejor

Things were incredibly dusty from the truck, our things are so dirty. The cost did not reflect the work done whatsoever, I needed help and ended up with more than I can physically handle on my own. Oh, and they left so much of our furniture still wrapped in Saran Wrap, and disgusting moving blankets everywhere all over our house. Weeks later now, insurance company is missing, won't return our calls. I also have found more damage to furniture. Don't trust this business, no matter how nice they act. They do not care about your new home or your stuff.

That prompted me to make sure I had left a review, which looks like I didn't, so here I am. The owner, Ted, is an Air Force veteran, and his discipline really shows in his moving company as well. Everything him and his crew moved for me made it in perfect condition with no dings to the walls or doors. I also really liked that when we made it to my new place, we went through the condo and gave each room a name. So as the crew brought boxes and furniture in, I simply had to tell them which room to put it in. They even helped me assemble the furniture and centered everything. Which, I'm a stickler for, so the centering was much appreciated. High quality service, well thought out process, and reasonably priced.

I hired Ted and his crew to unload a 22-foot rental truck in the Charlotte area. On move day, as I had requested, Ted texted me 30 minutes in advance that he was en route. Ted and his 2 helpers, Vlad and Jeremy, showed up on time and started work as soon as I parked and opened the door of the truck. Ted brought all the required equipment (dollies, carts and a handtruck + straps for the mattress) and even provided a battery-operated fan for me to use while I waited on the back of the truck (to keep an eye on all of the stuff), where temperatures in the summer can exceed 100 degrees. That fan kept me cool throughout the move. Ted and his helpers worked very hard for 4 hours to get all of the items into the elevator and up into the apartment. They honored my requests and never once complained about any aspect of the job, including an additional 150-foot walk across the parking garage no one knew about. Everyone was professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. I am happy to report that all items made it safely into the apartment. Ted, Vlad and Jeremy made sure to unwrap all of the items, place them where requested, and to put all of the boxes in the specific room marked on each box. They also re-assembled a table and removed all of the tape from the moving blankets. It was a stress-free experience from start to finish. If you're in the Charlotte area and looking for professional, affordable movers with a great attitude and work ethic, don't hesitate to call Ted. I had a 5-star experience and have no doubt you will as well. Thanks again to Ted, Vlad and Jeremy for doing a fantastic job.

I asked their driver nicely to back his truck up since we have 2 cars parked at our residence and I needed to go to work in a bit. He moved it and sat there glaring at me. I walked back inside and 5 minutes later my wife was going out with the kids to the Y and I saw on my camera he drove it forward blocking her from backing up. I came back out and the assistant mover stated "When are you leaving!?" Well for starters, that is not their problem to know what our schedules are. He then started using profanity, disregarding the fact that my children were right there. I started recording the incident on my phone and the driver told him to move the truck back forward to block my driveway. I had to call the company to get this resolved by letting them know I was going to call the HOA tow company. This is a horrible way for a neighbor to be introduced into the community as he has nothing to do with their unprofessional demeanor and disregard for using profanity in front of kids as well as disregard for neighbors property to wherever they will move your belongings. I will never use this company and warn others also not to. There are other moving companies with employees that have far more integrity than them and do not act in a reckless manner like this.

Unprofessional behavior from movers…read more This was a terrible and traumatic experience! I hired this company's service on October 22, the last week. I moved from Ballantyne, NC, to South Park, NC. They didn't complete the move until the next day. They had to return to the residence because they lost the hardware from one bed. Also, they left items without wrapping. The next day, when they came back, once they had installed it, one of the guys asked for pay, and my card was declined because of my change in the zip code. There were three workers here, and there was no supervisor. Ok. So, when my card was declined, I called my husband, and he tried to give them a credit card number over the phone. They could not take that, and they became hostile. The guy insisted that he wanted the card physically. So, they said my husband needed to come here and give them the card. He was at a job site and could not leave. So, the guy started yelling at me and threatened to take my stuff. He walked room by room, looking at what he could take. They were three guys against two women. I said to the guy to leave my house. He refused to leave because he wanted to take my stuff, so I ran to the door to stop him from taking my belongings. My cousin called my husband, crying and looking at the situation. The guy was trying to intimidate me, so I called the police, and he decided to leave, but I stopped him because he had taken my stuff and was waiting for the police. The guy was out of control. My husband talked to the owner, and he told him to leave. We paid the bill for the move on Saturday morning, which was over $5000. I feel now traumatized by the situation. I feel like I was assaulted in my own house. You know how much stress it is to move from one place to another and care about your belongings. That's because we hired a service that says it is " professional." That was a big mistake; they are not what they say. For this horrible experience, I never recommend this company.
