I moved out last week and was expecting a refund for the rent I paid for this month. I spoke with the manager, and unfortunately, they don't prorate, so I won't be getting a refund. Needed storage for a month in transition between two jobs. As a last minute decision, husby booked storage online. In a matter of an hour, got an efficient phone call from a warm office manager who welcomed our booking, and tried to find out our needs and to determine when we would be coming by to use our new storage. We came earlier than scheduled but the office manager did not mind. Husby went through process of booking smoothly, and in a matter of minutes, we were set for our storage locker. So efficient and professional. After a few days shy of 1 month, we decided to move out my things out of storage to get ready for my office move. We arrived to the place on a Sunday afternoon past 6:30 pm. Understandably, the Office was closed for the day. However, we decided to call the 800 number to inform the agency of our needs. After verification, the 800 storage operator reset our code and we were able to enter within minutes, get our things from the locker, and check out via phone call as well. For this unassuming Public Storage place off the freeway, they have an efficient and professional team who work well to take care of details so clients are not inconvenienced, as moving is difficult and stressful enough. The entire experience was a breeze----smooth, painless, and pleasant. I highly recommend this specific Public storage especially if they will keep and reward the same efficient employees they currently employ. And, to think, my husby actually made a mistake by booking this specific Public Storage location, instead of the other one across the 80 freeway he meant to book. So glad we went with this place instead. Just one suggestion, in order to attract more clients, for curb appeal, have City of Vallejo clean up the a bit of Lincoln Road West on the way to your storage location. Tina was down to earth and able to terse contract terms to get me on my way. I originally chose this location for the convenience of being off the freeway and when I arrived Tina assisted with showing me different size units to help me better decide which one would work best for me. She offered me TV boxes I didn't even know were available for purchase which was great and a mattress cover for the ultimate protection.
