Warning: corporate rules will trick you. Firstly they warn you over the phone of administrative fee for the first thing. They WILL not tell you it does not come with a lock and that you have to either purchase a special lock (but why would you know to bring this with you) or purchase it from them for $19.99. Secondly, they only tell you when signing the contract that insurance is MANDATORY. Don't worry -- they will sell that to you also. They also now will have my information FOREVER even though I do not have a business or personal account but because I WALKED in with someone wanting to rent a storage unit. So I cannot rent a unit in my own name with their first time client rate as I am not consider me as a new client. I would be shocked to hear if anyone has actually received one of their promotions. read more

Total rip-off. I started out paying $100 last May 2021 for a 5x5. It was raised less than a year later to $110. Now they are raising the price 31% to $144 per month! Trying to talk to a person to ask to lower but the only response I got from some representative that it "was the computer." This review is for the property manager, Laura. Unfortunately, I was given some information from a telephone customer service rep which was inaccurate. I was told that I could 'transfer' my storage unit to any other Public Storage just be going to the property manager and having them do it. When I went to go see Laura, I was told that was not the case. So both her and I called customer service again and we were given the same information over the phone. Understanding my frustrations, Laura went above and beyond to help resolve the situation for me. She reached out to the District Manager and got back to me the same day with a resolution that I was very happy with. Thank you, Laura, for all of your help! read more

Steer away off this storage. They got 2 bossy fat girls working who are always in their worst mood and clearly biased. I never received good customers service in more than 4 months I took this place. They are never available to take the calls or provide you with any assistance. You will find out once you rent a unit there. Also they have cockroaches I saw in my unit. Lucky for me I was already leaving and I was coming in and out every few days. They talk about pesticides being done. Its never done. In 4 months and more than 20 visits, I neither saw a pesticide person nor I smelled any pesticide , whether in hallways or my unit. To make matters worse, they are always try to run you off so they can sit there like lazy slobs. If you ever ask them to do something, there is always an excuse about this policy or that policy. I would highly discourage taking any unit on this storage. And goodluck with elevators too. They make boat load of money and they spend next to nothing. FYI the units are not weather controlled. If you got good stuff, never store it. But most of all try not to rent the unit at all. You will see the degraded and rude staff esp those two fat girls talking to you like they own the store. They just work there. The easiest job there is. Even a guy at 7-11 is more polite and responsive when you buy a $1 item than here where you spend hundreds just to get a 5 by 10 space. read more

Warning about this location!!!!! Our unit is on the 2nd floor and was broken into less than a month after we rented it. We also purchased their round lock from them. We were told there were multiple units got broken in on the same day also on different floors. The place seems pretty secured from the outside and requires codes to enter the gate, elevators and cameras. I'm not sure if they even try to find the thieves. read more

My storage unit was damaged when I moved in, they doubled the rent while I was in NY taking care of my mother, so I couldn't move back to CA and move my stuff, I just had to pay with no warning of the raise, and when I wanted o move out, I was trying to reach out to the office for over a month before my move, making sure I was crossing my ts and dotting my i's so that there would be no problems considering I was already massively disappointed on their policies. No one answered and so I booked a mover for the first, seeing as though I moved in at a pro rated rate I figure I can pay for a day if it came to that. Lo and behold I finally reached them and their corporate office to be showered with attitude and being being told I had to pay a FULL MONTHS RENT because I was moving out on the first, and that it was my responsibility to know their policies even though I could get ahold of NO ONE as I was planning my move. This is a real shit of a company. Go elsewhere. read more

I should have written this update a few days ago but have been inundated with my move. On Saturday, April 2nd I was on site unloading my storage unit and was contacted by one of the managers, no I hadn't spoken to corporate yet. I think I spoke with Maria, who was really, really nice and professional. She told me that she read my previous review and they take customer satisfaction very seriously and would like to make good on the issue I was having. Maria had told me that if I was planning my move that day and I was cleared out by 4:30pm that they would pro-rate for the 2 days I was there in April. When I advised her that I was already there and would be done by 2:00pm she told me to come by the office and they would close me out and extended her apologies. When I was finished, I went to the office where Liz helped me. Liz apologized for the communication error the day I was there, she remembered me coming in and was actually really, really sweet. The pro-rated me for 2 days, closed my account paid in full and I left happy. The fact that they handled my issue so quickly and efficiently really meant a lot. I understand we are all human and make mistakes...all is forgiven, I'm no where even a little pissed off and honestly after the service I received and how genuine they were, I would definitely use them again should a need arise. This places started off okay.... Things have changed and only for the worse. Hours started opening 9 (not sure exactly) and closing at 9. You can't get in or out during non business hours which is totally ridiculous. They have now changed their closing hour to 5pm. How am I supposed to access my stuff during the week if I work 8-5? Let's be realistic because I'm not coming before work. I guess that leaves only the weekends? Got a unit in late 09/2017.. 5x5 for $86 with access hours until 9pm. Now they want me to pay $100 and access hours are 9:30am-6pm weekday and 9:30-5pm on weekends. That is the most pathetic thing I have heard.. Oh and let me just say.. if you stay there after access time even by 10 minutes.. you are locked in! and they are very reluctant to help and rude while doing it. An absolute disaster of a business that I would not recommend anybody! save your money.. dont let them treat you like a prisoner and give you nothing back.. Seriously.. A big joke.. I've had my share of storage units - nothing special about this one when it comes to the facility, except Talon. She was the friendliest person when I arrived to inquire about a unit. She is what made the difference at this location when I decided to move to their facility from Sherman Way location. Since I have had my unit at this location, every time I see any of the workers on-site, they always greet me with a smile and ask how I am. Customer service does make all the difference. This location is also very clean. It just had a new paint job too! Highly recommend this location. read more

I stored some stuff with this place during a remodel around the end of the year (2016). We set everything up online and we got in with the 1 dollar first month deal. But, I think that the promotion is not a calendar month. So it isn't that great of a deal if you start renting a unit with them at the end of the month. This should have been a red flag. But we kept stuff with them anyway as our remodel went on. Around the holidays we went to get some furniture from the unit, and noticed that it looked like someone had been inside. Boxes were turned over and some items were missing. We wondered how someone could have gotten in, we were the only one with the keys. It was at that time we noticed that the walls of our unit didn't go all the way up to the ceiling and that someone had jumped into our unit from the adjoining storage locker. We should have checked the ceiling was secure when we got the locker but we assumed there was a reasonable amount of security at a storage rental place. It was the holidays so we tried to get a claim going through the required insurance that they force on you when you rent from them. They said since there was no proof of forced entry, they couldn't cover our claim. Even though i showed them pictures of the ceiling and the wall. In fact i could reach over the wall into my neighbors storage unit and take their stuff! This place is a scam. If you have to rent space from them check that the items you are storing wont fit in the space between the wall and the cieling. And fight against the "Perfect Solution" Storage insurance it is worthless and sounds like some sort of Nazi program! We cleared out our unit that day and will never do business with them again. read more
