My items were stolen from my unit at this facility. On 3/31/26, I arrived to find someone else's belongings inside my unit. It appears there is inadequate security, including a lack of proper camera coverage. A detective contacted me today and indicated that this has become a significant ongoing issue at this location. I have filed both a police report and an insurance claim, but the entire experience has been a nightmare. I strongly advise against storing your belongings here. There are safer, more secure facilities available. read more

This place rents out U-Hauls but apparently they know nothing about them. Had plans fall through and no longer needed my rental truck. Went back to return it within the hour of picking it up and was told they could not take it. Then they sent us elsewhere where they said it would cost $400 to drop off. We got in contact with customer service and they told us we actually could drop it off at the pick up location, but at that point, they had closed. Ended up having to foot the over $100 bill not including the gas we have to put in the truck now because we have no choice to drop it off at the originally planned drop off location. Plus all the time wasted going in circles and the time we will waste tomorrow bringing the truck to drop off. I wish the employees here knew what they were doing before sending people on a wild goose chase. read more

This company continues to increase rent at an aggressive rate. They increased my Jan 2026 rate without notice as they claimed that their only policy to inform tenants via mail only-- but they can email me my receipt after they receive payment? How convenient. I would rent elsewhere. I've also noticed people walking through the property that do not appear to have a storage unit. Always be aware of your surroundings. read more

This place started out fine but has increased its rate by double in under a year. The hours are also unreliable and the customer service is rude, slow and lacking . This office doesn't answer calls too often and exploits customers with excessive insurance fees, admin fees, and surges the prices too high and too often. I don't recommend. read more

I reserved a unit on Sunday October 4, 2020 @ 4:30. Safe storage did a follow up call on the morning of October 5, 2020 @ 10:00 and I confirmed that I still needed the unit. Mind you the unit I wanted had a sale and I made sure it was going to be applied. A 10 x 10 sized storage that was $143 a month for the 3 months. That's 25% off. Upon showing up, I was giving a tour and left in the unit to start moving in my things. Then after seeing the Lady helper talking with a Fellow, she walks over to me and informs me that now the unit was rented out yesterday October 4, 2020 @ 4:00. Then after asking to get a business card for corporate or a manager she informs me that it's only her. Then you really need some customer appreciation training. This review is specifically regarding a U-Haul rental from Safe Storage on 12/29/20. I needed a cargo van to move a handful of items out of the house and I *thought* that I had completed the reservation online earlier that morning. I went to go pick it up and discovered that I hadn't confirmed the reservation (user error), but Jose was SO GREAT! I was in and out in almost the same time that it would've taken if I hadn't been an idiot earlier, and Jose remained positive, upbeat, and helpful while creating the reservation from scratch as quickly as possible. This place is shady asf, do not rent a uhaul from here. They charged me 35 dollars for insurance that i told them i did not need. They also charged me for a extra day that i did not have the truck. I tried calling and the lady hung up on me multiple times. I even attempted to talk to Uhaul them self and they were also no help. PLEASE take you business else where. This olce has shady practices and from the look of it other people have gone through similar things. read more

Warning!!! Rip off ! This place is the worst storage place I've ever seen . Shady place , with dragon policy's ! On the day of the move in I had a super short walk trough and introduction to facility , I believe the reason was cause it was end of the day and the employees where on a hurry to finish their day . Unfortunately the movers that did my move finished unloading in 7:02 pm , the facility has a strict policy of 7am-7pm they don't even flex a minute towards clients even on move in ! When they finished we drove to the first gate and couldn't find how to open it ( it is code operated but because the employee there didn't show me I just didn't know ) I had to push the bar and manually open it . After we passed that gate we got to main gate and saw we are locked inside ( 7:05-7;10 yea !?!? Not 1-2 hours later ) I called the number in gate and rep said they had to send someone to open and they have a fee for it of $50 . Then I got a call back and was sent towards a lock box where there is a Fob to open the gate . They still charge $50 even though I was the one that opend it myself they didn't send anybody. A couple of days later they have called me to tell me they overlocked my unit and till I don't pay the $50 My unit is locked . They also stated that I need to pay for fixing the gate . Eventually I paid $490 to fix the gate ( that I wasn't instructed how to open ) I have used this storage for 23 days in total that have cost me $700!!!! Do your self a big favor avoid this shady place pay even 30-40 dollars more to store your stuff it will save u lots of money .. read more

I am so due to make this review. Karina, the manager extraordinaire, is a wonderful person. She is always available, kind, thoughtful, and professional. I have stored my items here for the last 3 years. I have always been delighted by the service of the two sweet associates. I mean- super dependable and efficient. They run that facility like clock-work. So, my last visit I had to change the locks and Karina spent a good amount of time trying to get it for me. Her and her tiny body got that lock cut! . Those round disc locks are not the easiest but she got it done while the phone continued to ring and people asking to use the bathroom on site. A professional environment with the kindest and genuine staff. Space is clean and always in working order. Renting a uhaul truck is also easy. Do you need any moving supplies? Yes, they have it too. Came to this facility because the location was convenient to where I was moving from. The first day I stopped by to check it out, I spoke to Jorge, who was extremely polite and patient in explaining everything to me including fees, options and showing me available units so I could get an idea of the space I would need. I went back a couple weeks later, as it was my decision to use them for storage and I was helped by Jose. He was equally as polite and so patient, great energy and amazing personality. My move in couldn't have been more seamless! I was also able to reserve and use a U-haul for my day of move without any issues. The convenience of everything was great!! Horrible customer service and shady business practices. Be aware that they prorate on the way in, but not on the way out. They don't bother to tell you that. I ended up paying for 3 weeks I didn't use. They do anything they can to try and gouge you. My account was set up incorrectly on day one, and I was listed as a secondary account holder, so anytime I tried to handle an issue, I wasn't able to. My credit card number changed, and when I called to give them the new number, the guy pretended to put my payment through over the phone, didn't put it through, hit me with a late fee, and later said it was because I didn't have authority to set up payment! This happened several times, even after I tried to correct their error. Once they accused me of lying and insisted I never tried to pay. And you can't set up auto pay on the website! So you have to rely on their incompetent staff to do it. I didn't get a refund for the late fees until posting this review, even after multiple complaints. read more

One of the best storage places in the valley if not the best. Facility is super clean and well looked after. Staff is friendly and will go the extra mile to help you out. They also maintain a small pool of U-Hauls that you can rent and the vehicles are immaculate. Operating hours go from 7am to 7pm. Great service, I was able to book and store here on short notice. I was given a short orientation and got my stuff in quickly. One day I had stopped by the unit to grab something and didn't realize I put the lock back on without latching it, leaving my space essentially unlocked for anyone. Within a day I got a call from an employee telling me they noticed it and I was able to get back over and re-lock it with nothing lost. Lastly, they also made my move out very easy, due to time constraints I had to run off after unloading the unit and they checked me out with a quick phone call and a couple emails. I needed to quickly find a storage place nearby where my POD was housed so I could transfer my stuff and save 1/2 the $/month I'd pay at PODS. I found Safe Storage via a Google search, and based on Yelp reviews and competitive pricing, I drove to SS and got a unit to move into the next day. Jose Rodriguez is what makes Safe Storage a special place. His customer service was outstanding but what makes him extra special is that he LOVES his job and being of service. He was a breath of fresh air in a world where many are just "phoning it in" to get through their day (often understandably) and collect a paycheck. Jose CARES. My stuff was moved in the next day, which marked the end of a stressful two months of packing, moving and re-packing and moving. When the door on the unit wouldn't close (our own fault because of boxes in the way) - I could no longer "keep it together" and "lost it." At that exact moment, Jose stopped by to see how things were going. I was an upset mess - and his compassion, empathy, kindness, care and love for a fellow human - who was clearly "having a moment" - was remarkable. His presence, kind words and warmth calmed me down and I was able to take a few deep breaths. Jose walks his talk. His work is more than "just a job." He's a servant-leader who makes a difference in this world. My hope is that the owners of Safe Storage fully appreciate - in all ways - the stellar leader they have in Mr. Jose Rodriguez. This is not the first time I'm using the Safe Storage. Every year I rent a unit from them to keep my tools and materials when I work in the area. They make the move in and out process so easy there is no need to go elsewhere. The building is conveniently located and designed even for the large box-trucks to get in and out easily. This particular location also happens to have the truck-rental service which is nice since you don't have to go looking for storage and a truck in two different places. The site is always clean and there are no rat holes in your boxes even if you leave your unit unattended for several weeks. I'm not much of a review writer, but this time I'd like to give a special thanks to Mr Jose Rodriguez who went out of his way to accommodate me with the unit that fits my needs. I've used six different storage sites around LA area, but this one by far is the best. read more

My husband found this storage location down the street from our home he went to look at a unit which is a 5x6 for a way better price.
