SoCal Self Storage is by far the best renters experience I've had. The Manager Glenn is awesome to work with. I didn't know what size unit I needed. "No problem. Bring your stuff in. We'll figure out which unit is best for you and then we'll do the paperwork." Every other storage place would want a downpayment, or hold fee on the unit. Glenn had the elevator and dollys standing by and ready for when I showed up and helped me into the unit. You may pay a little more than the bigger name brand places but you will not find the same friendly service. The customer service is worth a few extra dollars per a month. It's also very convenient right on Ventura Blvd vs going into a secluded industrial park.

I came here to rent a U-Haul to move some Furniture locally…read more The location is so clean and there is parking available, which is key. Many U-Haul rental places won't allow you to leave your car there but offer parking. Daniel the manager was so kind, the truck was super clean and the gas tank higher than what he expected me to bring it back in. I was a sliver under the three quarter mark when I brought it back and he didn't charge me, very gracious service! I highly recommend them for U-Haul rentals!

He also lied to us about the availability of units per their own website. Stating they were being fixed and couldn't provide us with an availability date. We were disrespectful or dressed down or anything. We simply were discriminated for whatever reason and they lost a for sure customer yesterday. I left feeling disrespected and disgusted with mamagements ability to properly staff and train their personnel with proper customer service skills and discrimination awareness. I got a unit across the street and another patron there told me they had similar dealings with this establishment. AVOID THIS DISGUSTING PLACE and find a place where the employees treat all customers properly. We visited the property at 1pm on 2/2/24.
