I will never do business with Public Storage or any company affiliated with them again. There is zero help from the staff. I could get on the property at 6am but had no access to the carts needed to move belongings in and out of my storage. All the the carts were locked up. So I had to wait until 9am for staff to get on site to take my ID in exchange for a key to a cart. I went recently at 9am and there was no staff on site. I waited until 9:15am and called to ask for help acquiring a cart. After 3 calls and leaving messages with no return call I took action. I removed one side of the cart handle, freed the cart and used it to move all of my belongings out. I had planned to only get a few items out. But after having such an frustrating experience, I decided to take the entire day to get away from such a horribly managed company. 1) No customer service. 2) They boost prices at will. 3) Trash everywhere. Location is easy to get to and has a security gate with a keypad. Unfortunately carts are few and far between and often not anywhere in sight so this is very inconvenient. The cost of the storage now is ridiculously high so trying to get out. They have had significant increases every year now and price is an about doubled. read more

Homeless people can be seen coming in and out of the business on bikes, foot, and screaming at patrons. If you don't set up autopay you immediately get messages stating your unit is up for auction if you do not pay immediately. The gate doesn't work all the time resulting into calling into corporate because nobody is in the front desk, because they (employees) service multiple areas all at once and will meet you at the next area. And last but not least, your rent will go up the next year "GUARANTEED", because of "HOW MANY MANY INQUIRIES WE GET THROUGHOUT THE YEAR" read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I brought a moving truck to move into this sh*thole location, where I had been charged and paid 1.5 months rent IN ADVANCE for a locker. Their system denied me access, claiming that my account was OVERDUE for payment. There was no manager at the property, no one answering the phone, I'm sitting here in 90 degree heat wasting an entire day because of the non-existent customer service of this crap company. These folks are criminal!! I have reached out to them numerous times. Spoke to several managers that assured me they would handle my situation and none of them have done anything to rectify the situation thus far!! In short, I was supposed to move in Oct 22, 2023. Well, when I went to move in there was water spots all over my unit. Needless to say I didn't move in. The young guy informed me that he would put in a work order. Everytime I called back or went in person no one was there and no one picked up the phone. Then someone called me and assured me they would take care of it. However, they didn't see a work order. I thought it may have slipped through the cracks. So I agreed. This has been going on since Oct now we are in March 2024. The last time I spoke to someone I asked for my money back because they still didn't see a work order. During this entire time they was taking $100 dollars out of my account every month. The person told me she did see that to be a problem. Next thing I know they credi me $115.00. They owe me all of my money I never got to move in. The unit is still not fixed. I was told I could move to another unit but would have to pay. I am trying to be patient with them but I think it's time to take other actions!! This is wasting my time and money!! This storage place only has TWO carts. It's an inconvenience that you pay monthly, but when you come to go into your space you have to wait for others that are in line to use two carts. I asked in the office and they said they only have two and won't be getting more. This is insane. read more

Been here over a year and never had any problems until I showed up yesterday to find my unit had broken into a month ago. I never got a phone call informing me of this despite the customer service person pulling out a pad of paper and saying it was written down that they had called me. I work for myself and check voicemails throughout the day and NEVER received a call from them. When I asked how it happen she said they signed up online and got the code to enter and 40 units were hit. I asked if their policy has changed regarding signing up online and getting customers the gate code and it has not. So basically this can happen at anytime again. There is no security on-site after hours to watch cameras or monitor the premises. I was blown away that she said I needed to buy a new lock because mine had been destroyed. This place is horrible! I have no idea why it has four stars. Upon moving in I find a bag of drugs around the corner from my unit. The chicks in the office couldn't be more bothered dealing with anyone in this office, in fact they are incredibly rude. When I moved in, the one day I had to pay for the prorated rent (4.25) was not charged to me. They never sent me and email just repeatedly blew up my cell phone from multiple numbers I did not know. Well long story short the girls in the office are super rude. When I finally find out and am filled in on the situation for the 4.25 I agree to pay when I get off work. 30 min later I get a call from another girl in the office reprimanding me for not paying yet. One they either don't understand when someone says they will pay when they get off to expect payment sometime early evening or they are extremely unorganized and didn't realized they called the same person twice. All interactions have been anything but pleasant and corporate is short of a joke. Last week someone dropped a box of nails on the floor in the hall and it was left there. I step on them. Thank god I had shoes one. Don't rent a unit here unless you want rude customer service and to get locked out of your unit for not paying 4.25 that should have been in your original invoice for when you rented the unit. I called to rent a storage unit. I was advised to come for an appointment at 3:00 pm. I got here promptly at 3:00. When I got here, the door was locked with a sign on it saying the property manager will return at 2:20 pm. (40 mins prior to my arrival as if that makes any sense). I called every possible phone number available. After being on the phone for more than 15 minutes with the 800 number, I was finally able to get the district manager to get in contact with the property manager. At 3:25, Manny opened the door to assist me. Manny was extremely helpful and professional, so this review in no way reflects his customer service skills. Manny was great! I wasn't pleased with the location of the unit I was planning to rent, so Manny saved my reservation and promised to call me if another unit becomes available that is more easily accessible. Manny, thank you for your service. Review reflects my disappointment with no one being available for a scheduled appointment and not having the correct time on the door for when someone will return. Also, they advertise the first month $1, but that's not available for most of the units anyone would likely want to rent. Upper level unit for a 5 x 10 (50 sq feet) is $122/month + a one time administration fee of $24 + tax. They essentially force you to buy a lock from them for $20 in order to access your unit. They have dollys available that you can check out but only during the hours when employees are there from 9:30 a.m-close. They have a stupid rule where they only assist one customer inside their office at a time even though there is ample room for 2 people to stand six feet apart. If you come with someone from your same household, they will only allow one of you in their office at any one time, so if the customer they are assisting takes forever, your screwed waiting outside until they're done. What they should do is have another employee come outside to assist those waiting outside (if possible). Totally inefficient. Storage units are accessible M-F 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sat, Sunday 6:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. I must say, their app is great. If I could have rented a space elsewhere, I would have. This place is the worst, but unfortunately I currently need the storage unit and have no choice but to use their services. First off let me tell you this, every time that I have come here, the office is always closed, there is never anyone to find here. There are only TWO carts available for the whole facility, so good luck with that. There are constant break ins into storage units, and they constantly raise prices, not just by $5, but they have the right to raise them however they want according to their "very friendly" customer service representatives. The staff that is there on very rare occasions are rude and not helpful at all. If you have the option of going to another storage facility, do it. This one is horrible, and their customer service over the phone is unbelievably rude! I hate having to write negative reviews, but after coming here today and seeing no carts, no staff, no help, nothing, it just really infuriated me, on top of having already had past issues with them. Have some respect for the people who use your services! You guys are charging soooooo much for storage units and have such a huge facility yet can't even provide the simple tool as a cart?! I was there 2 days ago to visit the spot I reserved online and the guy who was in their office on 4/19 afternoon said he can't show me the unit because they are closing at 6pm and he has already locked his stuff. And I said its 5:30 and we literally have 30 mins left and it takes max 10 mins. He got all passive aggressive and he said "ma'am do you not understand!!! I can schedule you for 9:30am tomorrow". 9:30 am ppl are at work and I was Coming from pretty far distance . Basically he could do it but he decided not to. Beware! My unit was burglarized here. The lock was obviously cut but apparently they don't check such things. The clerks at the front counter were apathetic and unhelpful. My homeowners insurance covered some of the loss but some things were stolen that cannot be replaced. After reading the reviews here I see this happens with some regularity. Beware of this business! We had a moving truck happen to arrive from a cross-country trip an hour after they close and we expected to have access to our storage unit. Like normal renters. When I called the number they suggested for after-hour access, they told me that 'they were closed'. I asked what they suggested - since I had a UHaul Truck and movers waiting to fill the empty storage unit I had rented FOR THIS PURPOSE. He said: I have no suggestions. We've closed our unit. I wish I could give 0 stars. I do not recommend this place. My reasons are as follows: First they advertise a discount on the first month for first time accounts. My friend used Pub Storage, and she used my name as an emergency contact. For this reason Public Storage will not honor the first months discount. Being used as a reference does not constitute having an account with them. I called cust service and was basically told, sorry that's how it works. Second their access hours are very limited. You cannot access your stuff after 6pm on weekdays or after 5pm on weekends. You cannot access your stuff you are locked out. Third they have 4 carts for customers to use. In order to use a cart you must give them a drivers license. Really a drivers license for a cart? It is it a waste of time having to wait to get in etc then go back an pick it up. And the license is not kept behind the counter but on the counter in a tray. Anyone could pick it up. Fourth, the elevator service is difficult to use. There are 4 elevators but regular customers have to use 2 small elevators. First you must type your access code to call the elevator and then you must get the cart inside and close the door all within 1 minute. If you take over a minute, the elevator will not move. You have to open the door go outside the elevator and then re type the code. Fifth you have to type your access code to open the gate to leave. The sign indicates the gate will open when approached but it will not. YOu must type you code to exit. Sixth the access paths have doorways that are much narrower than the hallways, slightly wider than the push carts. This is a major inconvenience when moving your things to the storage area. I have rented other storage locations where carts are in the hallways, always available to customers. 24-7 access is permitted. Codes are not required once inside the gate and codes are not required to exit the facility. I will not go back to Public Storage in the future. read more

I was at this storage for only a few months. The girls in the office were always so funny and super nice and professional and informative! The prices were cheaper than others I looked at. The unit and whole space and facility is very safe and clean and the security is top notch! They're super secure and serious about it. I mean, they're caring /storage our belongings so it's appreciated. The annoying parts: You need to use your code for EVVVVVVERYTHING!!!!!! It becomes sooo frustrating because if you're moving in or out you need to constantly put in your code to open gate and elevator and it's just ugh. Also, you can only use one rolly thing and you have to go to the front office and leave your ID and they give you a key and you take that key and go and find a rolly somewhere then use the key to unlock it cause they're chained up and aren't you tired just reading this!? It's just sooo much of a hassle. So many extra things and for that reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars. I just want to come and open my lock and that's it! She just wants to know what space would work best for your items and save you money. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of her job. Property is clean and secure. She remembered us and quickly signed as up. Sign up was quick and easy. The facility is clean and secured with gate codes and cameras. Payment can be done in the office or you can sign up with autopay. There are parking spaces and clean restroom. You can also use a complimentary cart. I highly recommend this place. read more

Apparently Public Storage is in the same club as AT&T Spirit airlines, and Time warner cable. They will nickle and dime you for everything. Will aggressively try to force you to buy insurance that you dont need, will force you to buy a lock, and other crap. They are going to charge you an outrageous late fee if you are late to pay by 1 minute and will refuse to refund it even though you are prepaying for future use. HORRIBLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY. Received a confirmation order for a space with a 50% discount on first month and told it was available same day. Drove over to reserve and discovered I don't qualify for the discount because I already have storage space. I never had any affiliation with Public Storage. Asked receptionist to contact management to ask why this happened. When manager answered receptionist said costumer already has an account and wants a discount. He obviously denied the request thinking this is a repeat costumer. Receptionist hung up, smiled at me and said "sorry system won't allow a discount." Huh? I again explained that I never had an account. She looked at me and said "I'm going on lunch now, do you want the space?" I imagine this is not the level of customer service Public Storage wants to offer its potential clients. read more
