Had an emergency and needed to move my stuff to storage. Called in the morning and was signed up and had my keys a hour later. Super quick turn around time. I got a 10x10 unit which was a little bit bigger than what I actually needed based off of what the website provided me. Nevertheless it wasn't a big price difference. Fairly simple process to move in. There are a handful of elevators (none too big so you'll do a couple of trips). The unit was generally clean but wouldn't hurt if you do another sweep especially if you gave things you don't want stained or to get dusty. Solid value for a month or two. About 200 dollars a month. I think it'll start to push my budget if I had to have it for more than that. Your access code is how you get in and out of the property, the building, the doors, and access the elevators. Only bathroom is gender neutral and located by the gate entrance. The building is labeled kinda weird and so you can easily end up on the farthest side of the building you're supposed to be in. And when you're inside the numbers can make you second guess yourself. Find the map by the elevator and that will be your best friend. read more

I rented a unit here last year November 2024. The price for the unit was $122 Dlls which I thought it was great, well that changed quick, by April 2025 they emailed me that my rent was increasing to $234 Dlls, (only 5 months later) and now September, they emailed me that my rent was scheduled to increase to $324 Dlls by Oct 1st! In other words, 200 DLL increase in Less than a year! How crazy is this?!! Please don't do business with these people, you would think you had a good deal until you move in and they start increasing your rent FAST! They are ripping people off! It's telling when you can't see reviews for this place online... I guess too many complaints! For me, ONE month late and all of your life savings and belongings are turned into a lien so they can auction off your stuff. If you are in trouble financially DO NOT GET A PUBLIC STORAGE! One missed payment and you will lose everything! For me, my original unit was flooded, so they comped me a larger one at the same rate. Great! But then they raised the rate back. Just moved 3 days ago! Customer service was excellent and she took the time to read and explain the contract to me. Today I came by to pick up my Christmas tree from my storage and as I was loading the car I placed my keys and cell phone and trunk and closed it right behind me. I ran to the front desk and a wonderful lady named Heather was amazing and helped me calling AAA. She didn't hesitate to help me and was sweet and compassionate to help. Saved my day!! Good deal on a storage unit but getting into it the first time was very frustrating. No one was in the office for forty five minutes with no note about lunch or an out of the office. I wish that time frame would've been displayed on their website so I could have planned my moving day differently. Otherwise it's a fine location so far. read more

Terrible experience. The elevator is incredibly slow taking several minutes to operate on both ends. We couldn't reach anyone in the office during business hours. You have to punch in a 7 number code on the OUTSIDE of the elevator EVERY time you need to call it. It was crowded with other movers and only one, painfully slow elevator for all of us to use. The units have no lights inside and our lock did not even work. We would switch to another storage company if we weren't on a tight timeline. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Just got to tell you Heather try's to act cool for business but mean like her other co workers there. As for David (HR) that called at 540 and calls back after 6 to ask in a rudely manner once my girlfriend answered the call hands down sounded horrible on the phone to hear that we were there longer than usual (never told from any staff there before) and I explain my part he had no care for my take in the situation in the storage unit but to tell me I have 24 hours or until the end of the month to take all my stuff out. I was friendly on the phone with nothing to do I said the end of the month if not I won't get it and it will be toss out. We were there to feel secure like everyone else there and store items but there some sneaky leak to tell me I didn't put it on right and change it and to get a call from that company in a aggressive manner on such a bad way. I have no clue on things that his public storage staff say about us (even customers who just need to store items) you can't be there longer than needed on accident behalf on they didn't inform me and my girlfriend anything on rules and regulations not even the time saying they did but didn't. So very much unappreciated work on there side to the public that rent there units. Be cool with money your spending on units there's is corrupt charging extra on my bill as well. Found a better spot that explain the policy and way of things for storage units. read more

the real review. unit is okay. security system is okay. price is pretty fair. property entrance = f****d the road is riddled with potholes and asphalted over railroad tracks etc. it's so bad it's laughable. biggest issue: there is rarely anybody, any-one-single-person on the property to talk to. they have a bad habit of leaving with office an hour before closing, with a "be back at 4:55pm" sign on the window when they close at 5. drove 10 hours to be there before closing and pulled up 45min early, had to wait in this crack alley with all of my valuables, guns, watches, guitars in the back of my truck for 40min just to have the dude come back and tell me "oh we are closed, i just came back to clock out, but you can do it all thru the app". are you effin kidding me?! what are you here for?! call 24hr customer service numbers, its the same lady for all 3 lines, speaking broken english, able to do nothing for me except tell me "download the app" then, the fun begins! the app was down for maintenance of some sort for 2more hours. at 7:20pm after waiting 2 hours + 40 min + calling 3 different numbers, i finally got the gate code! *** this is all with a prepaid reservation *** well at least the lcd screen on the keypad was burnt out so i couldn't see the numbers i entered, nor where it said "press * to begin"! we live in a time of broken systems and zero accountability across the board and it's sickening. better off asking a friend who has a big garage if you can rent a 5x5 space from him for $100/mth to avoid this horsesh*t. read more

Go somewhere else. This place has no security aside from some outdoor cameras. Staff said people rent other units and then break into nearby ones. Police said there are a high number of the thefts at this location. Got cleaned out. They even took the mattress. read more

First, this is not regarding customer service. Great customer service at this location. But after 6 months of using their smallest unit, my bill just increased from 109 to 143. I looked up that Public Storage will increase your payments usually twice a year. This is my first time using a storage unit and so far it's been a wonderful experience. Moving is stressful and luckily using public storage has been one of the easiest parts of my move. Gesselle was the attendant who helped me find my unit and utilize the PS app (I love the unlock feature!). She was helpful and answered all of my questions. Horrible experience. During our rainstorms in San Diego, water from the unit above me, ruined the contents of a 1 bedroom apartment including leather furniture, electronics and more. They force you to use their insurance company which essentially tries to get out of paying anything due to the damage to my property. If I would of own the insurance company was bascially a waste of money and a scam, I would of purchased my own insurance, that would of covered the damage. Do not use this or any other Public Storage, deceptive marketing and tricks. read more

Shocked at the level of service I revived for the price point I paid. Not top of all the hidden last minute fees in my unit, they did absolutely nothing when my unit had urine damage to it. I tried calling their help line but got no where & their staff "couldn't do anything for me". Plus on top of it all, I moved out on the 6th & didn't get any money back from my monthly payment with 3 weeks of me paying for the unit. See pictures below of the damage. Nice people but the security is not very good and when I signed up they said insurance was mandatory and apparently it is not because I went over a year without insurance without even knowing it so when my unit was broken into I lost everything of value. Sorry to be the one to make a bad review, but my experience was not as pleasant. I am not going to call out names of those I dealt with in with management but there were some serious issues there. I really made an effort to salvage the business, but it became apparent I was alone in that effort. And mind you my rental of the facility was for my company. Literally, the same day, I drove up the street to Morena storage and was met with open arms, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, and a SPOTLESS facility and I knew I had made the best choice in leaving Public Storage. Another issue is with the location. The facility is in a very transient location and the access road to the facility is riddled with potholes, and I mean the WHOLE road. Even management does not park their cars outside of the gate, instead, they park inside and along the fire lane area. It was a very eye-opening experience moving out, being there over three days moving I learned more than what the average customer would see on infrequent trips. Not good. read more

Frequent robberies occur within this "secured" storage location. No security cameras are inside the building, the frames of the doors are easily pried off from the drywall that make up the walls and gaps in the ceiling make it easy for thieves to crawl in. This is not my assessment, it is the San Diego police department's comment after I reported the theft of everything in my unit. They come out there a lot. read more

I rent a 10x10 unit that recently flooded due to roofing repairs management undertook about two months ago. I am on the second floor which means it flowed through the third floor above me and into our storage unit. What did management do as it was their negligence? Well.. they offered to give me a new unit, that is the same size as my current, and match the price!!!!!! AS A COURTESY? You mean my unit is going to flood and then you are going to up my rates? WOW.. that is customer service. I asked to borrow a dolly to move everything and the answer is we don't have any... The wonderful girl that works on-site gave me her district manager's contact information and guess what I was told.... Well you can go up the food chain but nobody is going to do anything for you. The online rates are misleading... they "change daily," and do not include applicable fees and required insurance. Too, once locked in to a so-called month-to-month contract, you're locked in to your rate, no matter how much it changes. I was paying over $100 per month and the office would not change my rate to the online advertised rate of $48/month for the same size unit. read more

Wow!! What a great place to store... super clean, extremely easy check-in even can be done online and not have to go in the office (your lock is already there in the unit)... Although I did go in the office and I would have to say the desk person Heather was probably the kindest most helpful person...nowadays with customer service being not very good this was a joy for mme especially since the move has been a bit more stressful.
