Building looks nice but employees are assholes with no common decency and manners. I came here to buy storage and pick up from storage. I parked my large van in front of the office in a parking spot but because of the size it did not fit within the line. Less than a minute later an angry employee yelled at me to move the van when there were 4 other parking spots open claiming falsely I was blocking people and his boss saw on the cameras. It was the worst interaction I've experienced at a business. Very hostile and aggressive immediately. There's ways to speak to people and ways not to. This was a prime example on how not to. This happened on Friday, August 9th at 1233 pm. I am bringing my business to other places that treat others kindly instead of with immediate hostility. I suggest you do the same. read more

Several items were stolen from my storage unit, including electronics and household goods. Rather than hearing my additional questions regarding follow-up, the male staff member I spoke with today hung up on me after speaking over me whenever I attempted to ask a follow-up question. The storage facility associate also claimed that a year's worth of footage had been reviewed in a day without giving me the opportunity to tell him that my lock had been tampered with and had been replaced. He also told me that there was footage throughout the facility, even though the manager yesterday had told me that there is only video footage in the elevators and that there are no cameras in the hallways facing the units. When I attempted to call back, the employee did not pick up the phone. In addition, when I was moving out, I asked about receiving pro-rated rent and was told this was only applicable 2-3 days after move-out. However, I found my rental agreement, this was applicable for 5 days, which meant I was eligible. This required me to spend additional time contacting the storage facility and left me wondering if they had been hoping to keep this rent money rather than return it to me. If you are seeking an unsafe storage facility with rude and dismissive customer service, this is a good fit for you. read more

Some of the employees are very nice and professional. One of the employees (named Mike or Michael) is ultra aggressive and confrontational at anything that irks him. I have seen him yelling at some of the tenants since he has been there. 2 of the tenants were women and were visibly upset and 1 looked like she was about to cry. Mike is almost the size of a linebacker. Some tenants are afraid of Mike and 1 told me they were moving out because of him. The rent is average priced compared to other storages in the area, but they do not have Mike as an employee. These tenants are not doing anything that warrants the aggressive, rude, and demeaning responses from Mike. If you are a woman, do not rent from this location. Mike is regularly here. If you are a man, think twice before you do so. Mike treats men better than women, but he will lose his temper with them too. There are several storages in this area, and I am thinking of moving out myself, just so I do not have to deal with him, or end up at the receiving end of one of his scream fests. I like the other employees at the location, but even they seem to be afraid of him. He does not have the temperament to deal with customers, or customer service. read more

Ace Storage on Mirarmar Road did a great job for me for over three years of continuous storage and starting with two storage units and then one and then I finally closed out the last one just the other day. These facility was always available. It was always clean. People were always available to help. Never had any trouble whatsoever with any items taken or even any attempts to to break in though it's very safe very clean and the staff is always helpful. It's a great place to store your stuff if you need to as you know, it will be taken care of in a climate control location and you won't have to worry about security thank you. A storage on Mirarmar Road excellent job. I would give a Storage five stars. read more

There are literally people running stores out of the first floor here. There is a cowboy boot store in one unit and an office chair store on the next. It makes the place more crowded, and difficult to get around. Also speaks to managements complete lack of care. It is super obvious what is happening here. Also to Dianne, stop gaslighting us, you have raised the rates on me twice since I have rented. And the sign posted outside say the hours. They are not 6am to 8pm. Good to know that you are liars as well as unethical business people. I am coming tomorrow at 6am. If the gates don't open , I will contact the BBB. Also of course you couldn't find me because I wouldn't share my name on Yelp because I fear retaliation from unethical companies like yours. read more

The hours on the web site ARE NOT the correct gate access hours. I found out at the gate the night before my daughter was moving for college. Had to reschedule the movers. The new surprise hours (see photo) are M, T and Friday 9:30am (that's practically lunch if your moving random c*** into a storage unit) close at 6pm (ok, so if your lucky enough to get out of work by 5pm, jump in the car and fly right on down Miramar Road at 20 mph.. because it's never bumper to bumper lol, then that should put you and all your children's childhood keepsakes at the storage unit access gate just in time...7 maybe 8 mins if your really lucky and hitting all green lights.. come on.. who that lucky read more

Awful experience with this place. For a while they just put up a sign at the gate that the hours were limited from 6:30am to 6pm. This went on for weeks and I couldn't make it there after work for a whole week. Would it have killed you to email or call your customers? So they didn't drive all the way there just to find out you're closed. I got there once just before 6 and they said "sorry were closed come back tomorrow". So I told them I really needed something from my unit. They let me in but said I had a few minutes. When I got to the door it was locked and my code wouldn't work. She went on the intercom and said "actually I can't let you in". Awful experience. Bumped into other customers on the premises and at least 3 times did I talk to others who were very frustrated. do not rent from this company. my storage locker was broken into last year because people who did not rent in the building were able to access the parking lot, the building, and the floor my unit was on. my locker was locked, but due to Ace's inability to secure our units (thieves were able to climb over the wall of my unit and pass through my items), I lost about $3,000 in outdoor gear. multiple employees confirmed with me that this had been a known problem, however we were not notified that people had been accessing the building after hours without permission until someone reported the first theft. they confirmed that this was an ongoing problem that management was aware of. when i reached out to Ace management, i was told by a desk worker that it's not their problem and that i should have purchased their insurance. she questioned if i had actually secured my unit and if this was my fault, even though she had already admitted that this was an issue. this employee continued to question my story while i filled out the police report. after reaching out to the general manager, i had the same experience. there so many storage places on Miramar, DON'T PICK THIS ONE. security is not their priority and they will not care/help you/resolve damages if their building is accessed without permission. read more

I finally made it down today to look at (and ended up renting)units. Again the lady went over my needs including things I never thought of like how much I need to access the boxes that will be stored in the back and how high up I want to store things. OMG...Finally something positive happened to me! My water heater blew and I wasn't home, leaving $30,000 in damages per the insurance company.
