Kathy was the person that answered the phone and was incredibly kind, happy and eager to help. All the necessary documents were handled via email and within 20 minutes of calling we had secured a spot. The storage facility was easy to access and get in and out of even with our gigantic rig. If we ever need RV storage again we will definitely return to Scripps Mesa Storage.

Very informative but also efficient. My 7 year old was with me and I appreciate LaShonda patience the entire time. We ended renting a 10x10 but I also asked for a bottom unit. Lashonda was quick to look up availability and found some potential move out units near my expected move in date. The entire transaction was approximately 45 minutes but it felt faster. Happy we stopped by and the reviews from Yelp certainly lived up to its expectations. I will update after we move in our stuff.

The upstairs is even clean. You move your stuff into the storage and of course it gets dusty I can understand that but the infestation of rats is over the top. There was also evidence of termites throughout the unit. But to be honest termites and spiders and bugs were my least concern. Of all the storage units I've ever had in my life I have never had a problems with rats. I do not have any food or anything that would attract them to my stuff. I didn't even want to get into my car after touching all my stuff that was just covered in this nasty stuff. A shower was the only thing I could think of. Unfortunately I would definitely not recommend this place unless you don't care about your items and don't care about rat poop all over your stuff. I would also say The lady that helps me when I came to move out was not very informative. Renting a U-Haul has never been such a pain. You usually walk in get the keys walk out check the truck and you're on the way. It took over an hour for this process. Do not rent a U-Haul from them. So after this long process I go to my storage unit to find it full of rat poop let me tell you moving out was not a fun thing. Also they don't have an elevator. I definitely give this place two thumbs down and I hope I don't get any diseases from touching and breathing in that toxic air. I should have taken photos, But I didn't even want to touch my phone. I hope the stuff that I did keep doesn't get me sick as well.

I was so pleased to have been able to return to the storage to find my belongings were safe and intact (right where I had left them). They regularly patrol the property and keep a tight watch out for any unusual activity. Was not given access code nor was it online. Had to take my U-Haul to my home overnight which cost…read moreme time, effort, and money (about $100 after gas and mile fees from U-Haul company added up) as I couldn't access my unit and no one was available to give me the code until the next morning. I was offered a pathetic free lock as consolation instead of being comped 2 rental months to compensate me for the money I had lost due to their incompetence. Additionally cost of rental does not include an additional $16/month insurance fee that they force you to pay.
