Very good experience! Aaron helped me through the process of picking the right size & showed me the available units. I looked at another place with better hours, but came back here. They matched the labor day special of the other place & I got a unit with outside garage door type entrance I liked much better than hallway entrances at the other place. This place has a HUGE MOUSE INFESTATION. I moved in last month September 2019 and immediately I had hundreds of mouse/rat dropping in my unit as well as damage to my belongings. When I confronted the staff they acted like they didn't know about their obvious issue. I have been sick since I moved in and it is obviously from the HEALTH issues caused by rodent turds. Have rented from Associated Storage on and off for over 15 years. They have an excellent customer service staff in the office to help out at any time. The entire facility and grounds are well kept and extremely clean and free from insects and rodents. Associated Storage has always had an very high level of security 24/7 for the entire property. The front security gate is monitored as well. As far as pricing and location, Associated Storage is by far the best deal around. read more

I was shopping for a small unit and happened to be in the area. So I drove to the location and decided to ask for info in person. I walked into the small office and found two people sitting inside, a young man and a young woman. I made two reasonable questions and got two completely different answers. I asked if could start the process to rent the unit and they looked like me like I was nuts. I asked for an informational brochure and they told me to go online, even though I was physically present there at the moment. Additionally, the young woman rolled her eyes at me. This bizarre encounter lasted about five minutes. Usually, I would never complain about customer service folks. I know these jobs can be tough, but my questions reasonable there were no other customers present. I don't think it was out of line for one of these people to give me the most basic customer service. Even though, the pricing was okay at this location, I ended going to A-1 storage near Miramar base because they treated me with basic costumer service, like answering questions about unit size, pricing, and discounts. read more

So stoked to have found this place! I found them on sparefoot's website and I was blown away by the price - it was at least 30% lower than the competition. I looked it up online and yelp of course and the next day I drove up to take a look. The staff was super cool and happy to help show me the unit and how the gate and office hours work. When I found that I wanted the unit on the other side to make moving in a little easier they had no problem with that and still gave me the same price as originally quoted. This place may not be as big as some of the competitors but it's superclean every unit is a drive up... I couldn't be happier. They like to communicate through email so when you're traveling it's really easy to work with them. They will bill your credit card every month which makes things super easy for me. And if they have any problems with billing or communication they're not all nazi about it, they have a really long grace period and they're just super friendly people to work with. I've been back at least five times to finish loading up the unit and everything is going great. I have my own personal code for the gate, there are two separate locks to access my unit which makes me feel safe and I get to take candy from their candy bowl at the office every visit! Okay, now please ignore this review so they stay only 80% full and continue to keep their prices low ;) read more

This review is based solely on their electronics recycling dropoff service. I did not rent a storage unit here, but it looked clean and the lady working at the office was friendly on the phone and in person. You check in at the office, they have you fill out a form with name, address, phone number, and what items you are dropping off. Then you pull up the car to a storage unit and unload the items into the unit yourself. I dropped off two computer printers for free. read more

Associated Storage has saved me a lot of money since moving there a few months ago. I was paying over double for the same space somewhere else. It is true the units are not quite as sanitized as my previous indoor unit, and my belongings probably do get a bit warmer in the unit during summer months because the storage barracks are outdoors. However, it is fine for my purposes. One can only enter during business office hours, but for such a low price, that is fine, especially as I do not need to access my storage often. The office personnel are friendly and they give you a grace period for your monthly payments. read more
