This year, as I was preparing to move I began to yelp around to find a storage unit complex that would meet my needs. I did not have to look far, the first place that popped up was this business! I said to myself, "hey, why not?" First, I called to inquire about how to get started and if I would be able to get a Dollie. I can not remember who I spoke to directly but she was extremely helpful. Later on that day, I went online just to see how big these units were and the pricing; there happened to be an online special going on for the unit size that I was searching for. I filled out all my information online & paid for my storage unit, it took me less than 10 minutes and I received confirmation in my email immediately. A few days passed by before I actually went into the office but when I finally did, I finished up paper work which consist of an agreement of what I can put in storage, a copy of my ID, and if I wanted another individual's name listed or not; the basic stuff. This is the first time I have ever rented a storage unit and so far it has been a very good experience for me. The ladies at the front office counters are extremely nice! I come in, sign in on the log with my name, time, and storage unit no. Then I am given the red keychain with the key that allows me to open my storage unit door (they're listed in Alphabetical Order then each door has a number assigned). After I am done, I proceed back to the office to return the key & check out. One time, there was a sign on the door that said "back in 5 minutes" I ended up dropping the red keychain with the key in the mail slot since there was also a sign that said I could do that. So far, I am very happy with the services here and I will continue to keep my belongings here as long as I need them to be in storage.

When you go to sign someone up on your storage, place them on your account, state that they are authorized to access your belongings and manage that account..... it does not mean anything!!!!! We lost the key to the storage right after we moved everything in as we were getting ready for a deployment, we were told by Maureen that we would be able to gain access to the storage no problem and she would even waive the 15.00 fee to open it up for us -one time only. All we had to do was call her ahead of time so that she could have the tools needed to open the lock. My son went to gain access (also was placed on the account) to the storage and the gal turned him away,not Maureen but another woman claiming not to know anything about this arrangement. Picture this- this was not a simple drive over, it is 100 degrees outside, you have a vehicle full of items that needed to go in and it is 40 minutes before they close. Also you are paying over 200.00 a month and for same strange reason, our name on the account means nothing? we cannot have access? What changed ? We are told we now have to have our service member send a copy of their id card to them. A fax copy. lets think about this now, while deployed over seas, who can easily do this? no one i know of. I mean floating n the middle of the gulf, send a fax... it is down right stupid. so this storage is being paid for and with no real resolutions to gaining access. What a huge disappointment as I recommended my family here. The only time they tried to rectify this was AFTER we closed the storage and AFTER i wrote this YELP, they could not give a far fig newton about this until then. I am embarrassed and disgusted the way this has turned out. The gal (Lori) that answered the phone tried to say that the law requires,, etc etc. Well then why would we waste time on adding people to the list of people able to handle the account and have access to the storage if it doesn't mean anything when we need to get access. I will not recommend this place EVER again and for the hassle I wont be coming back. As soon as our family member returned we got his things out of hostage from Super Storage, Poor business practice and they do not stand by their word. The…read moreonly things the movers needed to take apart were 3 beds, desk, dining table, unmount a TV and entertainment center. Kitchen appliances and laundry appliances did not need to be moved. It took them 7 hours to move everything. I went with this company because a friend had a great experience, the company completely packed everything for them and moved everything. They paid around the same amount I paid even though I had packed everything myself and the movers had less work to do. Also 2 of the movers wanted to know if I rented or owned the home and how much we paid monthly for the place. I found this very unprofessional and don't understand why they needed to know these things. It seems since they are paid hourly they want to take advantage of the situation.

He made a simple mistake and forgot the lock, so he returned on the 15th for literally five minutes to retrieve it. Despite having video proof that the unit was empty and he was only on-site for minutes, management used this 'facility access' as an excuse to charge us for an entire extra month. This comes right after they doubled the rent. They chose to squeeze $50 out of a college student rather than provide a decent customer experience. Avoid this place--they care more about technicalities than people.

I was so pleased to have been able to return to the storage to find my belongings were safe and intact (right where I had left them). They regularly patrol the property and keep a tight watch out for any unusual activity. I had that for a year before going into one a 1/3rd of the size to reduce costs, the nice staff gave me really good one right next to the entrance. I ended up after 2 years in the small unit getting my rent increased to more than what i was paying for the big drive up. If you're looking for long term, this isnt it.

All the pictures show that there's a blue piece of tape on each item. Why would I have done that clearly they do not want to take responsibility for what their guys have done. I've tried to call several times. You don't get an answer or you get put on hold forever you can't talk to a real person. I would not recommend this company. I think at one time it was a good company however I'm being told that iron Mountain has taken it over and they do not have a good reputation. I would not use this company in the future and I do not recommend it.

In two days they called me 6 times. The two times i answered, I was told the reservation didn't mean they would have a unit for me. Which flies in the face of the word reservation. The only way I could know I would have a reservation would be to do an immediate move in and start paying today. After work I tried to call them and figure out what was going on and was disconnected twice before talking to someone. Would definitely not recommend. Not sure why they offer "move in" or "reservation" on their website if the reservation doesn't actually reserve anything. There is no one on site - ever, to talk to.

Loyal tenant since June 2020, never late on rent…read more I am ready to call the police - these people have locked me out of my unit, are not returning my calls and emails, and forcing me to cancel clients and lose full days of work because I can't access my business equipment. We were not notified, contrary to what "Chaise" claims in his response to my review. After reaching out to them, we were told, "Tough luck," and will not receive financial reimbursement nor do we have a timeframe of when this will be fixed. Also, the units are infested with bugs (I have an indoor unit), which previous notifications to management were ignored, and they raise the rent every 5-6 months. Furthermore, they no longer offer 24/7 access - I found this out last night when I went to retrieve my items the first time.
