Michael has been a manager for the last six months. I sincerely hope he stays around. Sarah has been there longer, from other reviews. Both are terrific to work with. I agree with the five star reviews. Cecilia T's reviews is the most recent and I would confirm her thoughts. I would discount the one star reviews as they were listed 3 to 10 years ago. It is no longer under the old management. Yes, I look at the one star reviews first. The value is much better than all of the other companies I looked into. The storage facility had a faulty roof and led to a leak in multiple units, they never notified me, the leak destroyed a ton of my property with water damage and black mold. I had to file against them in small claims court twice and theyavoided responsibility as long as humanly possible. Only for back a fraction of the value. Awful people, do not store your personal items here. read more

I've been renting a unit here now for a little over 3 years now, from a 5x10 to a 10x10. Prior to this I've used two other storage facilities and I have to say that A-Aardvark has to be my favorite facility! The renting process was very easy and so affordable for my budget! There wasn't any surprise rent increases like the units I've had in the past! Moving out was very easy as well. The staff here very friendly and courteous. James and Sarah made my move out process a breeze! They were very prompt and responsive to my inquiry. They also clearly communicated with us when they were doing roof repairs in our unit area and what to expect. I highly recommend A-Aardvark to anyone looking for a quality and affordable storage unit to rent and would definitely use their service again! read more

BEWARE * ​ I've never left a bad review before, but I truly feel this is my duty as a consumer that has had a disgustingly awful experience with this business that I need to warn others DO NOT RENT HERE. I had just come back from living in another state and needed to rent a unit. Unfortunately I fell for the cheaper rates, after comparing prices in the area, and there were no terrible reviews, so I figured I would move forward with them. After over a year of my items being in storage, I was finally back in my own space and excited to remove my items from the storage unit. As soon as the door opened, I was horrified. There had been a VERY bad leak in the ceiling (wooden ceiling) that caused all of my items to be damaged, and beyond that- and definitely more disturbingly- there were rodent droppings EVERYWHERE. On my boxes, all over the floor, they had crawled into my belongings and left feces, I mean- it was REALLY BAD. I immediately contacted the front desk and asked them to come to the unit- and this guy just acted like, "Well, fill out the paperwork." No empathy or apology on behalf of the company (not that it was his fault, but at least say something on behalf of the company you work for! Do you not get any training??! Or even know how to be a decent human being?), no kindness, NOTHING. Just a very curt, "Fill out the paperwork." This wasn't just a few items being ruined- this was EVERYTHING. And all of the sentimental items like the box of photographs of my deceased parents & relatives, all with rat crap on them. I took pictures and then had to come back the next morning with a friend- basically in a HazMat suit- to empty the unit and throw it all in the dumpster outside. Can you imagine digging through all of your belongings and having to throw it all away? Knowing that it was because this business does not take proper measures with their rodent control, and well maintain their roof? It was disgusting to see. I didn't run into any of the other people there with units, even on my floor, to ask what their units look like - but I will share pics...if mine was THIS Bad, I can only imagine. And the WORST part is, their service. From day 1 - when I moved my belongings into the unit- the Manager Shane was very rude to me. I had my reservations in that moment, but the moving truck was already pulled up with my moving cube, like I said I had done my research and reserved the space with this one already, in hindsight I should have listened to my gut. Anyway, it's just me (a 4' tall gal) and he gives me a unit on the 2nd floor of a building, and wouldn't allow me to have the cube near the building. Which was ridiculous. So if that was all I had to deal with, though, I would not be here writing this review. I took all of the pictures, I wrote up my claim very meticulously, I submitted it within 30 days' time. After I sent the email, I called the office to make sure they received it and ask about next steps. The Manager Shawn answered, and again - WORST customer service. Not even a 'Sorry this happened.' or ANYTHING. Just, "Yup, we got it." and then he's ready to hang up. And I was being patient and kind. Wow. I actually said to hem "Wow, I cried all night the day I opened that unit and saw all of my life's belongings ruined. Then I cried all over again having to pick my belongings out of rat crap and throw it all in the garbage. I paid money EVERY MONTH - NEVER LATE- for you guys to keep my items safe, which obviously DID NOT HAPPEN, and you can't even muster a kind word or say 'have a nice day'?" Seriously, guys, this place is so beyond a poor excuse for a business. So after that, noone answers me back for a month! After an entire month of noone responding, this woman 'supposedly' from Corporate that gives me a gmail email address and a personal cell phone # says that she will handle my claim. It is now over 4 months later and my claim has not been resolved. Well, if you made it to the end, my apologies for the vent. Again, I just have to let people know what they're getting into if they decide to rent storage space here. Pest control seems to be non-existant, they allow roofs to leak BADLY without even being aware of it, and they are absolutely the rudest group of people I have ever dealt with. If you have any reservations at all, please message me here and I am happy to talk with you about my experience. I am about to launch on a social media campaign on every SM platform to share how awful they are. All of my belongings ruined, and after 4+ months my claim has not been resolved and barely even acknowledged. This is NOT OKAY. This is not how you run a business. Please do not give these people your money. They need to be shut down so responsible and capable businesses can operate in their place. read more

Easy and cheap, I booked online and even was a few days late one month on paying (whoops) and they were understanding, no fee for paying once they called me. It's hot in there, it's not the prettiest, because it's a storage unit. My stuff was protected against weather, no termite damage, etc. Entrance/exit is easy. I was on the 3rd floor and used the weird elevator contraption to move all my stuff up, super easy! read more

Cheapest storage I found 5x5 for $60 buck a month $12 for insurance and your set People are friendly and made me feel like I was joining a family. Just so you understand I was paying $125.88 a month and when I hit a year they raised the price by $30 more bucks . Well I barely could afford what I was paying , so $30 more just out of my budget. $60 plus $12 equals $72 a month. Awsome read more

This place is an absolute shit hole there's rat shit everywhere black mold the manager is an absolute asshole all of the belongings I purchased at an auction for treasures storage treasures for pretty much ruined by the fecal matter of the rats I was later lock my keys and my car could not get out of the premises even though the manager lives on site so I had to leave my packed truck truck trailer and car behind when I got to the facility the next day everything has been ransacked pillage been stolen they close at 6 o'clock but of course the manager had chosen to close that Day early so he wouldn't have to deal with my questions on wanting to see the camera that was pointing at my trailer packed with covered with a tarp of my belongings that I had just purchased from an option. Every resident I spoke to you there says they're absolutely miserable and that the place is it absolute shit hole but it's really cheap so if you're a Tweaker who need to get your shit into a room quickly for cheap they're your place but there's no customer service no respect and the place is a shit hole and rats will eat and piss in ur stuff and on it. There's another similar review to mine I should've listened to her. My boyfriend has no had to go to the hospital, because of black mold, spores Asbestos in his lungs. read more

I'm trying to make sure my reserve is fine and the storage can stay in my name since I'm not in USA and one of my friends are going to drop off my things on the storage. The problem is because I alredy called 7 times yesterday without answer and 3 times in this morning. I alredy send my documents at the manager (Megan) and explained her my situation but she didn't reply back my e-mail. After that I called more 6 times and no one helped me. Very bad service. We have used this place for many years, and although Shane is wonderful in the office, the owner went with a property management company a few years ago, and so the prices went up of course. But the thing I really hate is that they force you to pay $12 more a month for "protection plan fees" which is really renters insurance. I DON'T WANT RENTERS INSURANCE! Everything I store has sentimental value, and therefore, cannot be replaced! Since I have no choice in the matter (if I rent here), I think it is just another way to make more money (i.e. greed). Their prices are lower than other places, but when you tack on the "insurance" the prices are the same if not higher than other storage facilities. Since the last rent increase, I am planning to move my things to a different facility. read more

I won't ever use this storage company again. I signed up for a unit but then 2 days later I found a better situation for my belongings. I went back to them right away and explained that I found a better storage situation. I then asked if they would either not charge me at all or pro rate the few days. They said no we will not do that, you must pay us for the entire month. Then they told me my agreement was not valid because they spelled my name wrong and asked me to sign a new one! I said, why would I do that when I'm leaving and don't even need the unit? Then I said, well since the lease is not valid let's just give me my money back. The lady said nope, we don't need you to sign the new lease then, we're keeping your money you can move your things out. I said, wow! Really? This is very short sided thinking. Why burn me on this? I have rented with this company for a little over a year and they have had over 3 "system" changes that resulted in them losing my personal information for my automatic payments and then charging me a late fees and charging for insurance which I already had and provided proof of because they did not notify me of this change. The prices were good and I like that it's owned by a small business so the staff is very nice and takes care of their customers. I have been a customer here for many years. Management or ownership changed recently, as well as rates - they have gone up more in the past two years than the last 18. Additionally, they no longer include insurance - you have to purchase it from them or provide it on your own. The last four times I've been there I only had access to my upstairs unit one time because the elevator was broken. There is no ventilation for the upstairs units so they are 20+ degrees hotter than the bottom floor - over 100 degrees during the summer. read more
