It is supposed to close at 9. But it locks early. So if you have one small item to grab, you can't get it and will be charged for an extra month. Don't do it. Look elsewhere. My bill changed from $65 to $218 on the second month, increasing by 335%! Rent isn't prorated. If you move in on the 11th, move out on the 11th, you've to pay for the whole month or they'll take you to collections to ruin your credit. It's a complete ripoff! And beware of bogus charges. I have to say I am severely disappointed in this location!! When we first moved here we needed a place to store our stuff from the move. This location was a mile from our apartment and for a 15x25x12 storage unit they were 250$... climate controlled. At the time I didn't think this was too bad... then shortly after moving our stuff in they upped it to 288... now they upped it to 320!!! Seriously?!? I have done some checking and this is our last month at this location... I can move our stuff just down the road for 1/2 the cost... for the life of my stuff being there... in a fully climate controlled location! It will be a pain but well worth it... what a complete rip off this place has turned out to be!! In less then 30 days they can kiss my patootie!! I'm out-a-here! I hope others wizen up too!! Absolutely the worst storfage place I have ever used. Worst price increases ever. STAY AWAY!!!!! I have been using this place for storage for a couple of years. I moved to CA from TX after a divorce and had to store literally all of my personal belongings in one of their units. I have been paying monthyl an d every 3 months or so the rent has gone up 20 - 30 percent. I am paying over $300 on a 5 x 10 unit now!!!!! It started at around $135 a month. I can't afford this months payments as they increase the rent wth a little email notice that can be overlooked very easily. They literally change the rent to whatever they want. Planed on moving from a smaller space to a bigger space. Even talked to a representative the day before showing up. Went their and found out I have to pay for my whole month of the smaller unit in addition to the new unit and I wouldn't be getting the discount online on the new unit since I already have a space there. This property is clean, has a great location for our moving needs and the staff was incredibly friendly, thorough and accommodating. Kimberly, Sarahy, Kala and Gail did a great job of saying hello and welcoming me in when I came in the door as a first time renter. They did an excellent job of explaining the process of renting a unit how to access the unit and ways to protect our belongings while stored here. My one hangup or customer feedback that I want to offer The company, and not particularly the staff, is all of the selling of PS products, charges and up charges that you are unaware of until you walk in the door. As a consumer, I would appreciate knowing all the costs involved that I'm looking at in terms of fees before I show up. I definitely felt like I was at a car dealership or a master-planned home community that gets you in the door and goes all-salesperson on you. Overall it was a really good experience. read more

This could not have been easier. I have about 30 years worth of books. Books. Lots of books. D&D, mostly, but also my history books and sci-fi novels and... books. So we have a converted garage which is our game room - it hasn't hosted a game in many months due to accumulation of stuff. We had to make the Game Room habitable again. And that meant moving all the stuff that wasn't books. A quick online search told me the Public Storage right here near my home had $35/mo 10x5 units, climate controlled. We needed climate control to keep the lazer tag gear and other things from frying in the Texas heat. I used the online signup and promptly received a call from Jake, one of the property managers. Less than an hour later our first load of taggers, painting supplies, and other non-essential gear was at Public Storage where I met Jake and John, the dudes on watch. Jake explained the ins and outs of having a unit there and took me to our new unit, showing me how the lock worked, etc. We were then provided with keys to the moving carts (They're locked down because they were being stolen) and we were loading our stuff into the unit. It was really that easy. A bit of paperwork, and you do have to carry insurance (Between $11 and $15 a month) which brought our monthly bill up to $45, but that's still a good deal for the amount of space we ended up having. I have a lot more stuff I could hide there. Things we'll eventually have need of but that are OK to be a five minute drive away as opposed to cluttering up our minimal home storage space. Oh, and the lock - as a renter, you purchase it for $19. So that's an extra expense, but it's a one-time expense, so... YMMV. All in all this was a great, easy experience that's going to help me get our game room back online for dice rolling. I can't complain! read more

I'm a current renter here. I was by one night last week, when I noticed the moving dollies were all locked to the wall. I went to the office and was told I had to leave my ID, and when I returned the key I'd get it back. I asked what happens if I need one after business hours and I was told I would be out of luck. Apparently, one renter kept a dolly locked in his unit, so now all of their hundreds of renters are SOL. The grounds/buildings are always clean and well lit. If they unlock the dollies, I'll up my rating. read more

Great facility but they will change the rate without notice. They said they mailed notice of the increase - I won't contest they mailed it, but I didn't receive it. No received notice for a change from $53 to $103 monthly - not a reasonable increase. I can only claim bait and switch for them to change my rate by almost 100% when I'm set for autopay. I just signed a contract yesterday with this Public Storage facility and couldn't be happier. It was affordable and the staff was extremely professional. Kimberly and Cindy gave me a tour of the facility and allowed me to preview my 10X10 storage unit before purchasing it. The facility is extremely clean and well taken care of. Kimberly and Cindy went above and beyond to help me, make me feel welcome, and make sure that I would feel my belongings would be extremely secure in their facility. Their hours are great! They also have plenty of moving supplies and storage supplies that you can purchase if you need to which is really nice if you are moving. read more

I found this storage online and called the 800 number, the person over the phone was excellent and provided me with all the information I needed, then help me schedule a visit to facility without pressure. At the facility I was assisted by Cindy, she was great, all was easy and quick. The only thing to be aware, and this got nothing to do with customer service, is extra cost for mandatory insurance that I feel is expensive and extra cost for lock, which is not a regular lock so it needs to be purchased thru them. read more

I reserved a unit in January online at a really good rate. When I got there I opted for a slightly larger unit at a really good rate. So they started the paperwork and told me that unit actually cost a lot more. I said no. We then had to look at others until they located one at that rate. Then after 2 months they jacked up the price by $15. I moved all my stuff out on June 1st and they told me they would not prorate so paid for all of June. They were misleading about that when I moved in. It seems to be a safe and clean location but horrible business practices. read more

Excellent facility with climate controlled, secure storage. Kim was extremely helpful with signup, showing me how to get to my storage unit, and showing us how to borrow the rolling carts. I like that it's controlled with an individual access code to enter the facility and operate the elevator, and then has my individual lock on my storage unit. go to life storage! life storage is up front with all cost. not like public storage, public storage makes you buy their lock which is a special kind of lock you will never use again unless you get another public storage. there is no $1 special at public storage! that $1 turned into $60.00 plus $63 for the next month. where are the savings?? we canceled our storage and went with life storage. lots better. read more

Public Storage is a good facility to store your items with a helpful and friendly staff. I give Cindy and Jake high marks. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is for pricing. I seen one good price for a small room on Friday. When I wanted to make a reservation the price went up on Saturday. I wasn't too happy not getting the low rate move in price. The first time I used Public Storage I paid $25 to move in and it was a larger storage room. This time it was $31 for a small room. For service an "A+" but for pricing "B". I had a very good experience the first time I used them. Which is why I went back. Yet, I would still recommend them. read more

The storage facility was always clean and the hours of access were mostly convenient. We were promised that our rate would never change. Two months after paying rent, we received a postcard that the rate was increased 25%. Also, the carts are now locked up and accessible only when the office is open. No access to carts was a big inconvenience. read more

When I first rented a unit, the two staff members on duty were excellent. they explained the terms and conditions and answered questions. A few months later when my monthly bill was due I noticed it had increased. I received no notice of an increase...so I talked to one of the staff members and she said she would look into it. It turned out that the increase was an error and all seemed well. I went to pay my May 2018 bill and there I saw a major increase in the rent. Here again, no notice from the company and this is why I NEVER SIGN UP FOR AUTOPAY. The staff at this facility has turned over and the gentlemen said he would open my record to see when the notice was mailed to me. He saw that they mailed it to my old home address. I've been with them almost a year, you'd think they would have their records organized. Needless to say, this is the last month they will get my business, I'm moving to Life Storage a the end of the month. You can't trust this company and especially those in HQ offices that operate in a bubble. read more
