1 STAR -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE!…read more
If I could give this company ZERO stars, I absolutely would. As a military family relocating from Hawaii to Georgia, this has been one of the most stressful, frustrating, and disappointing moving experiences we have ever encountered.
From the very beginning, our experience with the movers in Hawaii was extremely unpleasant. The crew was rude, unprofessional, and appeared hesitant to move several of our belongings. Their attitudes and overall treatment toward my family made me feel uncomfortable and, quite frankly, discriminated against. I cannot speak to their intentions, but I can absolutely speak to how their behavior made us feel as customers.
Despite their attitudes, my husband and I STILL went out of our way to show them kindness and appreciation.
We offered to purchase lunch for the crew, and they even told us exactly what kind of pizza they wanted. We spent OVER $100 purchasing pizza for these individuals, only for them to leave the food untouched, go on their lunch break, and purchase something else to eat. While they were certainly not obligated to eat what we provided, the lack of consideration after specifically requesting what they wanted was incredibly disrespectful.
To make matters worse, we also tipped them in CASH. Not even a simple THANK YOU was given.
And unfortunately, their behavior was only the beginning of our problems.
Fast-forward to October 29, 2026, when our household goods were finally delivered to our new home in Georgia. After waiting for our belongings to arrive, we received what appeared to be only ONE-THIRD of our household goods.
YES, ONE-THIRD!
We are missing an unbelievable amount of our personal property, including:
* Our 75-inch living room television.
* A significant portion of our sectional couch.
* Multiple pairs of shoes and a large portion of my clothing.
* Kitchen appliances, including our air fryers and Crock-Pot.
* Cooking equipment, cups, and numerous kitchen essentials.
* Additional household belongings that were supposed to be included in our shipment.
The ONE television we did receive, our 55-inch bedroom television, arrived BROKEN.
Several other belongings were damaged as well, raising serious concerns about how our household goods were packed, handled, transported, and stored.
What makes this situation even more upsetting is the apparent lack of care taken when packing our belongings. Based on the condition in which some of our items arrived, I have serious concerns about the quality of the packing job performed before our shipment ever left Hawaii.
These are not inexpensive or easily replaceable belongings. These are items that my husband and I worked hard to purchase and accumulate for our family.
We were initially given an estimated arrival date of November 2 for our remaining shipment. However, after contacting the moving company ourselves on October 29, we were informed that the timeline had changed AGAIN.
There has been a serious lack of communication, transparency, and accountability throughout this entire process.
We should not have to continuously reach out to find out where our belongings are, why portions of our shipment are missing, or when we can expect to receive everything we entrusted to this moving process.
We are now in our new home with our toddler, without a significant portion of our furniture, clothing, kitchen appliances, and everyday necessities.
As a military family, we already sacrifice enough when relocating from one duty station to another. The LAST thing we should have to worry about is whether the people entrusted with transporting our belongings will treat our family respectfully and handle our property with care.
What bothers me most is that we treated the movers with nothing but kindness, generosity, and respect, even when that same respect was not extended to us.
We provided food. We provided cash tips. We were patient. We were understanding.
And in return, we have been left dealing with damaged property, missing belongings, delays, and an overwhelming amount of unnecessary stress.
I understand that multiple companies may be involved in coordinating and delivering a military household goods shipment. However, M. Dyer Global was responsible for handling our belongings during the Hawaii portion of this move, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and treatment we received.
I am not going to place blame for every missing or damaged item without a complete investigation, but I absolutely believe the handling of our belongings and the conduct of the crew deserve serious scrutiny.
Military families deserve better. Paying customers deserve better. EVERY family deserves to have their belongings treated with care and their concerns handled professionally.
I sincerely hope this company takes customer service, employee professionalism, packing quality, and accountability more seriously moving forward !
