Read your contract very carefully. This company smiles to your face while screwing you in the fine print. I've been at this Public Storage location for two years. My rate was about $100 in 2024, jumped to $290 in 2025, and is now $345 in 2026. Meanwhile, the exact same unit is currently advertised to new customers for $170, discounted to $143. Let that sink in. When I called to ask why I'm paying more than double what they're advertising, their solution was to tell me I could get the lower rate if I move all my stuff into a different unit. Same building, same size, same everything. Just physically move my belongings so they can pretend it's a "new" rental. That is not a solution. That is a scam dressed up as policy. This business preys on the fact that moving your belongings is a huge hassle, so they jack up rates year after year knowing most people won't or can't move. It may be technically legal, but it's about as close to criminal behavior as you can get without breaking the law. If you value transparency or fair treatment, look elsewhere. If you rent here, expect relentless price hikes and zero loyalty for being a long term customer. Absolute trash business practices. read more

This place is a total rat infested wasteland and has been for years. If you read this and decide to go here anyway, u deserve to lose your stuff! I lost 3/4 of everything I owned because there are so many rats there. Rat feces is toxic so if they don't chew through all your stuff, it's still ruined in most cases. I wish we would have read the reviews but we didn't and paid the price. People have been complaining and losing their stuff for years and they could care less. They are total swindlers too, our cost tripled in the time we had it there and they knew our stuff was ruined and still had no problem completely ripping us off. My unit was broken into from the other unit they climb in the rafters and pop off sheet-rock and the manager does not thing about it cause she is never there you'll be lucky to get a call back then they say oh you don't have insurance! I've had a storage space for 2 1/2 years. My rent is double what their advertised price is for a comparable unit. The best they're willing to do is reduce my rent by $100. I pay $652 for a 10 x 30 advertise price is $331 and the best they could do is reduce my rent to $546. To get the lower price, I would have to rent a truck and move into the new unit. The desk lady is very nice but this place is completely awful! We had a long term small storage unit here. The last few years every time I accessed the unit there was rat feces and urine all over everything in my unit! I complained every time and all I was told is "we're working on it." RATS! Literally. Disgusting! If you would like to store your items where they will be susceptible to rats, look no further! When your unit is damaged by rat feces and urine due to an unmanaged rodent problem, you will still be expected to pay full price for your unit BUT you will have the "benefit" of taking time out of your schedule to unload your unit and move to another unit, while also enjoying the delightful yet dangerous task of cleaning rat utine/feces off your items as you try to salvage whatever you can. The management here will do nothing besides tell you they "take it seriously" and let you know you can make a claim to insurance (assuming you have paid extra for insurance). BONUS, there is a deductible that you will get to pay for their failure to provide a safe place for your stuff. Your stuff is safer left under a tarp at your ex wife's place. While it's easy to get a space online and manage payments and the manager is understanding and kind, this site is overrun with rodents, is understaffed, and corporate raises rates every few months. Usually its only $20 or so. Now, despite not fixing the rodent damage caused by inattention for over 6 months, they want to raise my rent almost 100/month. No one contacted me about the rodent damage to my unit and the $250 claim limit isn't going to replace heirlooms. It's taken them 6+ months to get pest control out there? Don't blame the rodent issue on living in a coastal area. Knowing this and not having a pest control contract is not doing your job. Patrol your property and notify your tenants when something happens. Save yourself the money and time of having to wear PPE to go through your stuff and dump keepsakes. Go to one of those indoor, climate controlled places. read more

This review is simply for the initial rental process. I will update review if needed after we have had some time in the unit. I started at their web site and found a special going on. I then went to the location as I had a few questions and wanted to take a look at a unit to get a better idea of what the size looked like. Wendy was very friendly and helpful and showed me an available unit. Within 30 minutes of looking at the space and deciding it would work for me, I had completed the rental process and was out the door. I will say that I am not thrilled that I have to maintain insurance coverage for my stuff but I do understand the reasoning. This did not affect my rating because, frankly, I had the choice not to rent here if it was really a deal breaker for me. We needed cheap storage in a pinch while we were in between apartments. It was fair priced for big amount of space. However there was a giant ants nest in our unit that we didn't notice until we were moving stuff out and they climbed all in our stuff. We had tight closed boxes, totes, and garbage bags that were covered in ants. We spent two full days diligently going through all of our belongings getting the ants out and still have probably another three days to get through the rest. It has been a nightmare bug spraying all of our furniture and even having to throw some stuff away. The roof to the unit was not sheetrocked so it was just open spider filled roof and beams. Tons of Cobb webs hanging everywhere left for us to clean up. The ground was half swept. Rat traps right out of our door. I mean we get it - it's outside however there could be more measures taken before someone moves into a unit - like making sure the unit is pest free - which it clearly wasn't as there were about three giant ant nests in either corners of the unit. Maybe bug bomb before idk. We will never put our stuff in an outside unit again, just be weary. read more

It's been nearly 3 years and I still keep having fraud done to me cuz you all failed to replace the lock. I have no help from the va cuz all of my claims and most of my forms of identity were stolen. Along with 7,000$ worth of belongings. I know a lawyer will represent me for the pain and suffering as well as the damage if incurred due to your faulty leadership. read more

This place is okay but they raised the rent $22 in one month, the second time it had gone up. Place is dirty, not well-maintained, and I couldn't enter the gate code without exiting my vehicle. This was my first and last experience of renting a storage unit. I rented a unit while transitioning from Idaho to Washington and I stored all my new, expensive clothes (custom designed), fragrances, and designer handbags. Somehow only my unit was targeted for a burglary and the storage facility's only response was that I stored my items at my own risk. There is no video surveillance as advertised when I opened the unit. The manager, Jessie, stated that she lives on site and it's very safe. The insurance I purchased through the rental facility hasn't replied to my claim for the burglary in November. All my items are gone and there is no recourse. I would never rent a unit here and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I have rented a unit for 1.5 yrs with this public storage for my business equipment. I need to access my equipment several times per week. In that time the security gate has been broken 4 times, with periods of over a month with the gate wide open. For the past 6 months the inside key pad has been broken so you have to walk through the man gate and use the key pad on the outside. I've made several inquiries and complaints about this because the man gate doesn't close properly. Thus leaving one more hole in the security of this facility. I also had a leaking gutter right above my unit, which they never did fix. The managers/ on site operators are less than friendly and their customer service is non existent. Look elsewhere first. read more

Oh my gosh I just rented a unit here. This is such a beautiful clean facility... I can not believe how nice the lady was at the front desk. I did not catch her name but I just loved her! She helped me decide the size I needed... I thought I would need one much bigger but she saved me all kinds of money and my stuff all fit!
