My girlfriend and I picked this storage because it's closest to an apartment that we moved into. We prepaid, came in a day early to test everything, and even had a manager show us around. Come Sunday we are stuck not able to get in, there are no employees to help and after a few attempts with talking to corporate we were advised to come in on the next business day.. after having to take a day off, pay an extra night for our Uhaul , and pay for movers we are now spending double of what our move out was supposed to cost us. Stopped by today to get a storage with the $1 promotion. After all the add ons such as a lock, administrative fee and packing supplies I left spending under $60 not too bad for one month storage. The best part about this is that its in doors, climate controlled I wont have to worry about my items being damaged. The hours are reasonable 6-9 I believe and office hours differ. I felt very safe leaving my belongings there and very sure that if there were any problems I would be contacted! and sure enough on Monday I was contacted cause I forgot to lock my unit! One way street at Public Storage. They had a failure in their door opening mechanism and prevent anyone for accessing their goods. Eventually they left it open so we could access locker. Problem is I lost a $199.95 sale of merchandise I had in my locker and could not access during normal hours. I left info and after 4 months they still refuse to contact me about my request. I have been to the office 5 times and no offer to resolve or even apology. I have contacted District Manager. He has never contacted me. I asked the manage send me a letter or email and say you are working on it. I am not allowed to. You bill me every month but you can communicate with me. So no response, no indication of the fact they were wrong. Still open issue and absolutely stone walled ciusomer support. Please Move in But Don't Talk to Us Again. read more

I made and online reservation. The manager called and asked what time I would be in. Initially I was put off bc my scheduled time of between 2-3 (I went at 240) no one was in the office. No worries, I went to the gym and came back. My size unit was unavailable but a free upgrade to a larger size. Easy explanation of unit and codes. Building seems secure enough. Setting up payment was a breeze. Hey have dollies on site you can use, downside you have to leave your ID with manager. If he's showing another customer a unit, you have to wait for him/her to come back and unlock the office. read more

They are absolutely shameful, their policies on vacating your space is ridiculous . It doesn't offer any proration. I had so much issues after I move my stuff out the locker, I had to pay two additional months. When the contract does not state that one is required to take the locker out of the after notice that it is vacated. When we first signed up with public Storage it was pricey but we needed the space so we went for it. They never showed us around. Just showed us how to get to our unit & that's it. We didn't know there was a bathroom until the day we decided to no longer use the storage space. The price of the unit will go up rapidly just a heads up. They had dollies people could use that used to be right in the front.... they decided to monitor them (which makes sense) by having you give your id to the front desk person. But when they switched to this method, they never notified us so we had no idea. The front desk people are never there & when they are there, they aren't the nicest or helpful. read more

HORRIBLE!! I live close to this location so I looked them up online there website had a half off special and special pricing online only, so I thought I would go ahead and reserve a unit that was a bad idea. I reserved the unit went to the location there was only one man working so I had to wait outside in the rain until he was finished showing a unit to another customer but when he walked back into the office with the customer he started doing something on the computer instead of letting me in. The employee did not open the door until I knocked on it. After he finished with the customer I told him a made a reservation only to find out the unit was not clear yet but was told it would be a day or two for that unit to be free, I had two weeks to move so I said I could wait. It was now 5 days so I returned with my things to move in and was told again it wasn't available yet and they had rented another unit the same size to another customer even though I had a unit reserved a week before,The online site is still showing availability also. The employee did absolutely nothing to try and help nor apologize he did not care at all!! He just blamed his bosses. So I went to POUCH SELF STORAGE instead they are awesome! Way cleaner, better security not to mention they offer a FREE moving truck,you pack it in the truck,they transfer it to the unit for you. read more

I have been a customer here for over a year and pay $150 a month for a small unit and to never have the flat cart available when I need it. Things are stolen from here apparently? It's the excuse I got! For the price I pay along with everyone else those carts need to be replaced. There's sometimes nobody in the office during normal biz hours and understaffed. This place gets zero stars (I had to put a star to make this post). I rented a unit here and a few months later, my unit was broken into. The only unit in the whole facility. After filing a police report, it was found that there are only cameras at the front of the facility and on the elevators; the 2 emergency doors on each side have no alarms and no cameras. After my unit was robbed, I went back to my unit with a facility employee, only to find a few homeless people sleeping in front of their units. So I'm thinking either a employee saw what I was bringing in or a homeless scout. Either way they new it wasn't me because my code hadn't been used for entry. Someone had time to drill the lock and remove large and small items. The facility offered no assistance what so ever, and the insurance company that they use, in which I purchased insurance from has been giving me the run around for almost 5 months now. When I purchased the insurance the facility employee never told me that I should take pictures of my items, which the insurance company required for payment. I got a call from the insurance company yesterday and I was told that I'd be paid $450 on my $5000 insurance policy. Feels like a total scam. WARNING....DO NOT STORE HERE. read more

No Customer Service! I am currently going through a divorce and was looking for a reputable company give me some sort of relief by storing my belongings and giving me a peace of mind. If that is what you are looking for too. I wouldn't look here. I reserved a 10x10 unit online on Thursday, October 19th. Reservation #866274031. When I showed up to Public Storage with my Uhaul truck to secure my unit on Monday, October 23rd at 5pm. I found out ,from the guy behind the counter, that I did not have a reservation because there were still items from a sold (Auctioned) unit. Those remaining items were put into that locker. And the guy who was supposed to pick the items up, just hasn't yet. And because of that, I, THE CUSTOMER would have to be inconvenienced. I further found out that there was a $1 special. This was news to me. But it came with a catch. I had to pick a much larger 10x20 Unit at $482/mo. or a tiny 5x9 unit. Why is this my problem? Why do I have to worry about moving my belongings out of the unit I tried to get, but was never offered? I can't afford to do this with the ongoing costs of my divorce. I have to move my belongings out before November 22nd. OR ELSE. And they could not promise me another unit or 10x10 unit. Or even when that guy cleans the auctioned unit out. Maybe give me a call? Not even an option. Just because it looks nice, does not mean you will find nice people working here. Beware of their ever changing... Oh yeah. On Check out they surprise you with Mandatory insurance starting at $11/mo. You need it to store it. Guilt trip at the end. But wait there's more. You have to buy a lock. That's $20. One time fee. So don't think ahead and try to save money with buying a lock for your storage unit beforehand. I meant to post this last week. I almost didn't. But the guy who called me today, Saturday November 4th at 11:04 am, to remind me about the rent that was due on the 1st. was very rude with me. As I tried to tell him what happened he told me to calm down. When I told him he didn't have the right to talk to me that way. He told me to have a good day and hung up the phone. I just wanted a 10x10 unit. Pay upon the agreed price. And not worry about my personal belongings. Because they would be secure. Now I have to worry about moving. You're the WORST Public Storage!!! read more

Sarah was awesome. Came in to get a storage for a few months due to a renovation at my home and the price and service got me thinking I might just keep it for a while even after the stuff is done. I know this place used to be really cruddy before but since Sarah took over its been really good. Climate controlled and locked up tight. The carts come and go but that can't be helped when people don't put them away like they should. I have seen customers moving out and just pushing them into the parking area. I put them back but who knows if others do. Good thing is that Sarah will listen if you need to vent about it. Cheers! read more

Went over to this location at 12:30PM today with a carload of items to put into my storage unit. Office was locked up tight and all of the dollies were padlocked. Would have been nice if there was a note on the door explaining why they were closed in the middle of the day.....so now driving around town to my other appointments with a full carload. read more

I have rented units at two different PS locations over that past 5 years. Both were great and the service at both has been great! Sarah has outstanding customer service skills, and she has to deal with some characters! We have two units at this location, and my son just rented one for his college furniture this past weekend. We reserved online, and Sarah had us set up and ready to go in a matter of minutes. Any complaints I would have about the property over the past four years would be for the owners of the property, but definitely not Sarah or the other associates. This location initially gave me the best deal on a storage unit and was near my home location. However, since then it has been a year and the price has gone up by 36%, 2 price increases in a year. I will give them credit for being clean, relatively easy to access, and secure, but beware that once they get you and your stuff loaded in they will increase the price. read more
