So they double my rate, but a new customer can get a unit for half the price of mine. I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING, no it's not an introductory rate, and no it's not an internet rate. I literally just went to their website and checked the rates. I'm not new to storage, I've had a large unit in Tacoma for over a decade, I know rates go up, I know about move in specials, I know rates periodically go up. Celeste is my middle name, that is what I was trying to do. Ask questions to understand but I got hung up on. That doesn't seem like you are happy to answer questions. Please just train your staff to be more patient to your first time customers. She implied I was asking for a free day and I never did. She stated you are a business and don't give anything for free.

The chat is useless as all they do is pass your information to the location so they can call you back (which they won't). Zero interest in customer satisfaction - 1000% interest in profit. UPDATE: got somebody to call me back to tell me why the website price is lower than what I'm paying. She said the "website price is to lure new customers and they will get a rate increase to match what I'm paying in six months." Unfortunately, the conditions of the storage unit were absolutely disgusting. Everything was covered in mouse poop/feces and there was even a dead mouse in the unit. There were also live ants all over the floor. It was truly disgusting and with all the mouse feces it made most of the items in the unit unusable and basically trash. I don't know how long this unit has been sitting but almost every piece was covered in dozens of mouse feces and several items had been chewed through. There was no food in the unit whatsoever so nothing to draw the rodents and insects inside, I'm just guessing this is their standard conditions. If I were choosing a place to keep my items, I would not choose this storage unit location due to the infestations. I also will not be bidding on an auction at this location again.
