this place 100 macarthur facility is it the worst facility i have ever encountered i've had storage for over 25 years i've been at this storage for 3 weeks and i've been unable to access my unit three times now first they said they're open until 9:00 p.m. and if i could catch a photo it shows here that has access 24​. its a lie!! they close the gate at 6pm!! you cannot get in touch with anybody in the office. i should have known this was going to be a bad place to store my stuff when no one ever called to confirm my reservation or anything i never heard word one from the office. this is the public storage in irving texas 75061 100 macarthur. whatever you do do not go to this facility matter of fact i would suggest not going to any public storage facility!!! who closes the gate at 6:00 p.m. people don't get off work until that time i work an hour away so for me to get to my storage unit would not be until like 7:30 at night 9:00 p.m. was acceptable 6:00 p.m. is ridiculous and they're open the gates at 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. well guess what i was there at 7:15 this morning and i still could not get in system down!!!!! this place is a joke!!!!!! hey all this money and cannot access my unit!!!!! oh yeah and one day i was sitting in my car my windows are tinted i had a lady come up and pound on my window asking me what i was doing i was on my phone outside my unit. read more

Everret is the worst had a appointment set, called several times and his response was the computer has been down all day, and send me to another location. Well if you don't want to work you shouldn't have put your name on that application. I can't stand lazy people, other people really want to work and your just collecting but not doing work. Can not get into unit on Sunday, told lock has not secure so they put there own lock on. No one there to unlock for us. SPent hours on phone with customer service and told there was an employee in the office waiting with a key. 103 degree heat 5 hours later still not able to get into our storage unit? And now being charged another month! read more

Some of the storage places I've used have been bad experiences, but this place was awesome. The manager there is extremely nice. I would definitely go to this location again. read more

The storage facility is good but I have exceptions with the management. There is no access to proper customer service. There is nowhere to complain. I rented a space for my truck for two months at McArthur Irving, Texas facility and was told that the first month is free. I used the space before two months were over and informed the site manager of the move. She told me it's ok and confirmed that she has closed the account. She assured me that my account will not be charged for the following month and I should take the truck out before the 2nd of the following month to avoid being charged. I was surprised to find out that I was charged the following month and when I called her to ask why, she was rude and disconnected me. When I called back, she told me not to call again and disconnected. There was no free month either. I hereby challenge the management to contact me and find out the truth if that was not their 'business policy' and why that lady manager should be that rude to some if not all customers. read more

Ana was so helpful and stayed a half hour after closing on a Friday night to help me get an additional unit when my things couldn't fit in the first one. She had a great attitude in spite of the inconvenience. read more

Been there 3 1/2 years. My monthly rent has gone from $71.00 to $128.00 a month. When I asked about it, I was told it was a competitive rate and if I didn't like it, I could leave. read more

Through no fault of her own, Shannon, The Rock Island shop keeper was scheduled for a staff meeting although we had confirmed our early arrival time. I called corporate office because the opening of the store and access to the storage unit was put off by approximately 2 hours. In other words 2 hours of wasted time. Unfortunately Shannon took the brunt of the chew out for the basic reason that she was there. I do regret stressing her out for her bosses error and inability to read the schedule. The service over the next couple of months went very well and Shannon came through like a trooper even with some hurt feelings that lingered. Because of the customer service, by Shannon, I would recommend a person to work with Shannon as she maintained her professionalism through the whole time I rented. However make sure that your schedule allows sufficient time in case Her idgett boss screws up again. read more

New Customer to this location, but I have used Public Storage before and enjoyed it. Everything started off lovely when I went in to sign the paper work. Carmen is awesome, and the http://bomb.com. But that is the only good thing I can say about this place. She toured the unit with me, which was still dirty from the last tenant. I was told it would be cleaned and the burned out light bulbs would be changed that day so I didn't put my lock on it. I was told my access code would work anytime of day for the first twenty-four hours. So I had planned on returning a little later to place my lock and put some things inside the unit. But alas it did not so that was one wasted trip. Today at some point while I was working I received a call about not having a lock on my unit. That was all the voice mail stated. I had planned on putting one on it of course, but my code didn't work so I couldn't get to the unit to do so. So after work, my husband and I loaded up the car and headed to the unit only to find a lock on it and no way of opening it. If they were planning on putting their own lock on the unit, it might have been nice to tell me in the voice mail they had left, but they didn't. So that is now two wasted trips to the location. With the price of gas these days, I can't afford all these trips back and forth. Left a rather lovely voice mail to them, it was polite but made sure they knew I wasn't pleased. I will be getting my money back and taking my business elsewhere tomorrow! read more
