My instruction was disregarded and they packed my jewelry and loaded it on their truck. When I asked where it was, they unloaded it and put it in my car. I transported the jewelry to my new home, and put it in a separate area away from other boxes that they were unpacking. They asked me to return to my old home to finish up some things, and when I returned the box with my jewelry had disappeared and they told me that they had unpacked it. When I went to check if everything was there, I found that a Watch and necklace were missing, totaling in value of $17,500. When I asked the owner how she planned on remedying the situation she told me she was not responsible and that I should have been wearing the watch. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional, and has contributed to fail to resolve the matter. The items were not only expensive, but sentimental. The whole experience was really sad and unpleasant.

We have lived in Garland 40 years; I live near the facility on Crist Road. I have both a storage unit and a trailer parked there. One night or early morning the trailer was stolen, and they were "ON IT". Called us in the middle of the night, showed my husband and GPD great video footage of how they broke into the gate and shows them driving off with the trailer. We were able to get the trailer back unharmed due to their quick action. When you call them, they answer the phone personally day or night. The prices are lower that the conglomerate chain on average as they save in the marketing area due to superior service, word of mouth keeps them full. They have a fair agreement plan, and do not try to lock you in a contract for a specific time frame. The business ethics alone are outstanding and again, I say this is a direct result of being a small business and the importance it has. I don't know this as fact, but I am sure that many times the owner has been approached to sell to a big national or even global company but chose not to. Tells you volumes right there; she cared more about her customers, her community, and city by not "selling out". Who knows how rich she could have been taking one of those deals. These are the OPITIME of people we want in our city. Virtue and common sense, turns out have real impact. Here are a few other reasons: Economic Impact Job creation: Local businesses are major employers. They often provide jobs to people in the community, helping reduce unemployment and boost local income. Money stays local: When you shop locally, more of your money stays in your community. Local business owners are more likely to spend their earnings locally, which keeps the economic cycle flowing. They tend to go the extra mile because their reputation in the community matters. Community Character and Identity Local businesses contribute to the unique charm and personality of a town or neighborhood. They're often the sponsors behind local sports teams, festivals, or fundraising events. The bottom line is that locally owned businesses have a much more vested interest in the community on every level and will look out for the interest of the community over that of a national chain like Walgreens or Walmart I can't say enough good things about the personal customer service, easy terms, and fair pricing. really thought i would love this place. they were hired to…read morestore items, deliver items and pack and unpack from our old home to the new one. i had no issue with the storing and delivering of items however MAJOR issues with packing and unpacking. their manager fabian came out in person to take a look at our items and provide a quote. he took photos and said they do in person walk through to get as accurate of an estimate as possible. the original quote was based on (5) bedroom home-packing and unpacking of (5) bedroom closets, (3) hall closets, (5) mattresses/boxsprings, (2) beds, (3) dressers, (3) nightstands, entire kitchen and garage. he took photos of all these items and listed them individually on the estimate. he also stated if you wanted to save money, to start packing the items before they came. given that we had 3 weeks or so in between, i did just that as i'm unable to sit around and do nothing. not only did i pack everything expect (2) cabinets in the kitchen and majority of the master closet and 1 hall closet, i also had everything moved that we had packed!! what they ended up needing to bring was -1 hall closet -1 master closet -2 kitchen cabinets -glowforge machine -pelaton treadmill (which they broke a piece to and are only trying to credit $10 for. a piece that you cannot fix) -3 boxes from upstairs -1 king mattress -1 media console i took photos of everything they needed to move. in comparison to the list fabian made and the photos he took himself, it's obvious the workload was cut by 80%. additionally unpacking services were never used as i ended up unpacking everything myself. yet somehow the cost went UP from the original estimate. i have photos of (3) guys standing around watching one unscrew the handle to a treadmill as well as instead of packing shoes, holding each pair up to show the other guys, for just about every pair. beware. what you are quoted is not what you will receive. they will find a way to milk the clock. they will charge you and say "it's close to the estimate" yes it's about $1000 more but i did 80% of the moving before you even showed up and didn't even utilize the unpacking services! so no-it's not.

They are friendly, courteous, and careful with my items. They do receiving, storage, and installation for me. I have used them for more than 10 large installs both locally and out of town and they have always completed the job to my satisfaction. They are used to dealing with high end clientele and try to document every part of their job. They help me load and unload my car, they help me when things are damaged, and they are eager to work me into their schedule, even when it is last minute. I can't recommend them enough. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and they have been worth it, in my experience.
