    The initial meeting went well with Lisa when she came out to inspect our house and quote us for packing and moving. However, a few things happened after that, and I should have counted them as red flags. We received a call days before our move asking if we would be willing to move our packing date and moving date from Friday and Sat to Sat and Sunday. I told Jasmine I would discuss with my husband and call her back. When I called back, I told her we would agree to do it. However, when I confirmed the date, she said she already had us down for Sat and Sunday, and the offer was Sunday and Monday. I have every email, and there was nothing in our discussion about Sat and Sunday ever being the original moving. She put me on hold, came back and said, "we'll just keep you on Saturday and Sunday" and her tone changed. We hung up. Kelly called me from the office to get my signature on the moving contract. She emailed it, and it didn't have the discount. I emailed her back about the discount, and she apologized for missing and added a discount. However, the amount didn't match what we discussed. I emailed her about how the discount was calculated, and she never emailed me back. She sent another email on 11/15 asking me to sign the contract, so in an interest of time (moving 11/18), I signed without an answer. We moved into our new house. The wood flooring at the house we moved from was scratched. 4 of the crystal knobs on my daughter's dresser were broken off. The guys installed the washing machine incorrectly, and the hallway, part of the kitchen, pantry, and part of the dining room were flooded causing damage to our hardwood floors and baseboard. I emailed the company about what had happened and how disappointed we were. On 11/20, I contacted Kelly, and she sent me information to file a claim. They sent an hourly employee out a week later to take pictures of the back of the washing machine and the floors. I pointed out the baseboards and the damage, and I didn't see the guys take 1 picture of the areas I pointed out. I have yet to hear back from them. Kelly and Kyle have pictures of the damage along with the water readings from the flooring company, yet they haven't responded to anything from me since 11/27. I even asked them both to let me know when management could come review the damage. On 11/21, Jasmine called me in regards to the email I sent regarding the damage, etc. Their movers told them they hooked up the washer and tested it in front of us. They didn't do that. They did pull me aside about the dryer being shorted out and they didn't want to hook that up. We had an electrician out the next day to fix and test the dryer. She didn't address the dresser, the incorrect discount, or the hardwood floor scratch at the other house. I received a claim update yesterday, 12/7, from their claims company for $24 for the knobs. The email stated that the carrier's insurance company would be handling the flooring damage. I emailed Kyle and Kelly, and once again, no response. They may be fine to work with when all goes well, but when there are issues or questions, they go MIA. Beware and trust the red flags. I have email chain evidence supporting everything I have put in this review. Proof of emails attached. There was NEVER anything between Kyle and me supporting a Sat/Sun ORIGINAL agreed moving date. Today is 1/12/18 - While the owner has taken the time to respond to this review and have my feedback removed from a FB Group page by giving inaccurate information to the page admin, she has yet to even reach out to me. She posts that her cargo insurance is handling, but I dont have any information about that, and I still haven't received a respsone to my email requesting it. I really just want to get this taken care of and be able to move on and have my hardwood floors/baseboards in my brand new house replaced.

I was particularly worried about the computer equipment, as I work from home daily. The screens, cables and office accessories were each individually protected. The desks were dismantled, and all the screws were stored in labeled bags. Important documents were stored in marked boxes to avoid getting lost among household items. They also put our stuff in our kitchen and living room, dividing the space. The truck was on time to the new address, and unloading began immediately. It started raining while they were moving, but they were careful and had covers to protect them. Fortunately, the boxes remained dry, including some with electronics and papers. They were delivered at around 10 pm. One cable was installed in another office box and was easily found due to the labeling. The service was useful for anyone relocating to preserve a work-from-home regimen.

    Our bakery relocation needed more planning than a regular household move because we had equipment,…read moreshelves, supplies, and display cases. The movers inspected the commercial mixer, refrigeration units, counters, and baking equipment before loading. They used protective wrapping for the display cases so the glass and edges would not get scratched. Shelving units were carefully disassembled, and the hardware was stored in labeled containers. Smaller baking tools and inventory were packed in separate cartons rather than mixed. The new bakery location was still under construction, so some of our equipment needed temporary storage. The storage arrangement gave us time to complete the remaining work at the new place. During unloading, one shelf bracket was not immediately visible, which worried us for a moment. It was later found inside the labeled hardware box, so nothing was actually missing. The delivery team came on the scheduled date for the final placement. They positioned the heavier equipment where our contractor had marked the floor plan. The move helped us reopen without a major interruption to our work. For a business relocation with many moving parts, the process stayed controlled and well-organized.

    I honestly could not believe how prepared these guys showed up, they pulled up with two trucks that…read morewere entirely empty aside from the equipment that was inside them. They had advanced tools and dollies that were able to help on a number of situations throughout the house. The dollies enabled them to move heavy objects in and out by themselves, not requiring help from the other movers while they were busy. Other tools they had which very notable were these pads that they laid against fragile objects when moving them through tight doorways in order to prevent damage. They were so careful with our things that we did not mind paying a little bit extra for extra cautiousness, after all you move once in a while and want it to be done right. This was definitely one of the aspects that caused me to leave the rating I did. Another thing that I really loved about these guys was that they did not allow me or anyone in my family to partake in carrying objects. They made sure that my parents relaxed and watched, and supervised the movers as they did their job. The manager said that it was their job and that was the reason they were there and being paid. We really appreciate all of the hard work and effort these guys put into our move. Even the truck drivers were inside helping as much as they could until the trucks were full and they had to hit the road. The entire move was scheduled to take two weeks but we managed to narrow that down to about eight business days. I could not be happier with the results. Thank you to the entire moving crew for all they did for my family.

    Needed to find a mover fast. All the other "brand names" needed 2-3 weeks notice. I needed…read moresomething 3-4 days before I needed to move. I got assigned a coordinator to give me a quote from their home base in California. After I paid, I arranged a time frame for my household goods. The dispatcher was good at letting me know the time frame. They also got my car shipped and all that. One gripe, if that, is that they don't move your stuff themselves. They contract local companies to do the move for you. In other words, they are what you call a broker. I know this because I asked the movers themselves if they're with Trico and he said, "No, we are a sister company. They contact us and we do the rest." Another gripe is that they charged me a "long haul fee". I had a top floor, corner unit at my apartment complex. They charged me an extra $300 for extra footage for the move. So be wary of that part if you're an apartment dweller. My stuff got to California safely and everything was accounted for. As for my car, again, they contract other auto shippers. My car came back in one piece. I'd recommend Trico. Some may be hesitant if they're essentially a "middle man" of sorts. They were professional with the whole process.
