When the movers arrived 20 minutes late, I was informed that the cost would be based on square footage instead, increasing the remaining $835 by over $1,000. The mover refused to give a final quote until everything was loaded and was rude and careless, damaging my apartment during the process. He held my belongings under duress, demanding an additional $850, claiming it was a "deal." After paying, I discovered he left items at my old apartment and poorly reassembled my dresser, using my tools to fix it. A week later, he called accusing me of lying about the apartment damage, despite my photographic evidence, and offered to "fix it" so I could drop the matter, also refusing to share his name or company address. The owner, Olvin, was also rude and unprofessional, dismissing my concerns with profanity. Their conduct throughout the move was unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful.

Several items of mine were broken to the point of not being able to be used. the men were rough with our bongings at the end of the move and even after my husband made a comment, it was disregarded and he was told " if anything is broken Kevin will pay you for damages " . when we unloaded and saw how bad damages were I sent pictures to Kevin. He told me I should have been watching the guys more closely during the job and that he is not going to pay for anything !!! A bed frame was completely cracked in half, flat screen TVs were placed on the floor and ruined, dressers have giant chunks broken off, a toy chest was cracked. he told me we should have provided more blankets, I still had 20 left over to sell back to UHAUL! I provided rachet straps , they weren't used ! I shouldn't have to monitor a companies every move, I was doing a move out clean while they were loading, and my husband did make a comment and we were told we would be reimbursed if damages occurred ! LIES ! so upsetting , we have had to spend hundreds of dollars replacing tvs, and a whole new bed frame, and we are still working on fixing cracks in furniture. I used this company for both packing and moving everything into my U-Haul truck, and both teams did a great job overall in a very timely fashion. The 2 packers completed the job in 3.5 hours, and I had a 900 sq. ft. one bedroom, split level condo full of items to pack. The total was about $500 including tip. It was worth the labor, but the cost of the boxes seemed way too high. I had maybe 3 dozen boxes, and the cost for them was $118. I also got charged for their trip out (I assume gas), which was nominal, just unexpected as not part of the original $300 quote. The actual boxes were packed very efficiently though, and they even offered to pack some stuff in my own suitcases and bags to avoid using more boxes to save a few dollars. They also told me that leaving my clothes in dry clean bags for protection can actually make me sick because the chemicals from the bags get into clothes after time, so that was a nice tip! The movers included a group of 5 guys, which made the process very quick and efficient! They completed in 2 hours, and it was a lot of work to move everything out, down a long hallway, down an elevator of 16 floors, down another long hallway, and out to the U-Haul truck! They also packed my U-Haul so tightly that when I dropped off a lot of boxes at storage and took the rest of them to my new home, they didn't move an inch and stayed in place! These guys worked hard and did an excellent job. I paid $500 including a $100 tip ($20 for each guy). I was able to pay both teams on-site with credit card, so that helped. It's tough to find good people to handle your stuff, so I would definitely use this company again!

I was informed that because of my inability to receive the second part of the move on Tuesday, I was going to have to pay more. No matter that I was available to receive it Saturday, Sunday, and even Monday if that had been an option. The delay was not due to any action on my part and was actually very stressful for me. Yet I was at fault for not being available on Tuesday at the second location. My big mistake was not reading enough reviews before hiring this company. Although they have some good reviews, and I have no doubt they can do a good job, several other people have reported having issues similar to what I experienced.
