I honestly would give CubeSmart five stars if they weren't like all the rest of the corporate storage places that seem to raise the prices periodically it's still lower in most places, but the fact that the matter is is that eventually no raise it again and again and it doesn't make it worth storing things when you have to pay more than you paid for just to keep it but overall I give them a decent rating for service and price read more

Beyond annoyed with this facility. If you have heavy stuff and move it on a weekly basis, don't rent here unless you're on the first level. Elevators are often down. Also - if you're credit card gets stolen and you forget to update your card info, they won't waive the late payment. Nobody answers the phone when you call. I've left a number of voicemails to get someone to call me back and I just have to keep trying throughout the day over the span of a couple days. On top of all that, this place is beyond expensive and they keep raising the price. So now I have $80 in late fees because nobody would call me back and a unit on the 3rd level I can't get medical equipment to. read more

Rate increases are very aggressive, costing at the end $200 per month more than their advertised rental rate. No security to prevent break-ins and thefts, and no security footage to even see who broke in a stole your possessions. read more

My travel trailer stolen from indoor facility and informed 52 days later. They are dragging to provide security footage voluntarily. I wouldn't recommend using parking spaces. I don't want happen to other people. read more

First - Jonathan, the onsite manager is the BOMB! He not only knows his business and the location, but is fun and friendly. He makes what can be a very stressful situation or moving calm and humorous. TY!!! Second - tons of parking, secured entrances, carts/dollies, size options, etc. And, CLEAN! This location is run so poorly and provides such inadequate, costly, and unprotected storage services that my rating would be negative if I could make it so. Avoid this CubeSMart location AT ALL COSTS. Why? I had been storing a Ford F-250 V-8 Triton truck at this storage facility for almost three years when, one day, my account was closed without my prompting. Unsure why this had happened, I traveled to the facility on Cedar Springs and met with CubeSmart site representative Jonathan Bartush--who was in the front office that looks out precisely upon the spot where my truck had been stored for years--and asked why my account was closed. He mentioned it was because the truck was no longer there. "Where is it then?" I asked. He replied that he didn't know. Turns out, it was stolen. I'm still in disbelief this occurred. He mentioned another truck had had a battery stolen from it, after I told him that the last time I had come up there to check on my truck, it wouldn't start, so I had supposed the battery had died -- and that's when he mentioned maybe the thieves had stolen the battery from another truck on the premises and dropped it in my truck. Additionally, a tire had been flat on my truck, so the thieves apparently also fixed the tire? So, apparently, a lot of theft is occurring: A battery from another truck, plus the entirety of my vehicle, at the least. I called the police immediately. I filed a police report. I was still in shock that I had been paying over $200 per month to store a truck that is directly in view of the office and desk that Mr. Bartush sits at, and apparently, thieves had gone in, put a new battery in my truck, and driven off the premises with it, all right there int he view of the office. And I only found this out weeks later, after Cube Smart closed my account unilaterally, on their own initiative. The whole situation is outrageous. I've never had a situation this financially disastrous happen to me due to another company's negligence. I should not only be compensated for the value of the 2001 Ford F-250 truck but also refunded the thousands of dollars I spent storing the truck at this good-for-nothing (literally) facility. CubeSmart had ONE JOB -- and they failed at it. Badly. Disastrously. Horrendously. And they didn't even know they had failed at the job they were being paid hundreds of dollars per month to do until I pointed it out to them. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I'm contacting as many agencies as possible -- the Better Business Bureau, etc. -- to see what can be done about this kind of raging incompetence that has cost me tens of thousands of dollars. read more

There is no one more qualified to give a review on this particular CubeSmart location than I am. I've been using this storage for a long time. Jonathan has made life easy for me since the start. Over the years he's become a friend. I've always felt safe in this location even at nighttime. There are always dollies available on the ground level entrance. The place is always clean, clean, clean!! This location is grade A unlike the other places in Dallas you don't want to be at alone. I've always been treated well no matter who's at the desk. I give this location five Stars! You won't be disappointed with this Cubesmart location. read more

Manager Jonathan is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I went through the online signup process. Once I arrived to move in, the hole on the locking mechanism was drilled too big so the cylinder lock which they mandate that you use did not lock properly. I messaged the manager that day and we agreed we could sort it out the next day or later in the week. Once I came back to sort it out, Jonathan proceeded to offer me to move to a different unit by paying an additional $60. I said no because I didn't care what unit it was, I just wanted a unit that locked properly. He then proceeded to only offer me a refund and remove me entirely because he was convinced that the unit locks properly. When I offered to go to the unit and take a look he said "this isnt going to work" and proceeded to only offer me refund and kick me out. Truly unbelievable. read more

I live close to this facility so leveraging it is convenient in theory. However there have been multiple times where I have heard the alarms in this building go off for 6+ hours without being addressed or shut off which leads me to believe items held in this storage facility are at risk for theft, fire, or flood damage. Clearly not well managed if alarms can go off for that long without being shut off or addressed. read more

Unsafe, unprotected, and unprofessional!! Please continue below if you'd like to know a little more... The door to access storage units is broken, so you can come and go whenever youd like...24/7 essentially (dont pay attention to the listed hours they tell you). Justin, who works there, said it's been broken since he's started there and they're in no rush to fix it from how he was talking about it.  Also, I noticed cameras aren't on every hallway covering the units. I mentioned that to Justin and he said that simply won't get fixed because that'll cost too much money. To top it off, got charged $12 for insurance for the 1st  month because we didn't bring in a 'hard-copy ' of our insurance in a proper amount of time (took us 3 days). Noone told us we needed a hard copy to supply when we tried show proof of insurance initially.  We couldn't print one there, (Policy, apparently), but they made a copy of our hard-copy and gave us back the original... does that make sense?? We tried to mention the lack of communication on their part and Justin said, "he always tells people, so it must have been Johnathan", who is their GM. (How is that our fault then?) I got the district managers office number, Sam M. Was told by DeShawn that Sam would call me 24-48 hours. It's been 72 hours and nothing. read more

So have I got a story to tell Yelp Dallas! Nearly twelve days ago, the one and only freight elevator went down from a power surge. Now imagine the catastrophe that befell Cubesmart Uptown when the only way to access floors 2-4 is via an emergency staircase. And for me, what's brutal is we needed to move a plethora out, then back in our unit on floor 4. So I gathered up as much last-minute help as I could scrounge to make the dreaded move out/move in. Johnathan felt horrible about my situation, rolled up his sleeves and helped us! Can you believe that level of service? Wow! What a manager. So if you're searching for a storage unit in the Downtown area, look no further. When the elevator is working, the complex is nice/safe and easily accessible. read more

This location is really nice. It's easy to get to from the freeway, the staff is beyond helpful and informative, and the facility is very clean. They definitely have space available for all needs. They even have a garage to store vehicles which is super convenient! The area is really nice and has lots of stuff to do for when you are done purging all your things away as well lol. The management at this location is wonderful! The man working, though I didn't get his name, personally changed the lock to my storage unit and gave me new keys for $19 all in under 15 minutes.
