The actual unit was fine but the employee(manager)I spoke to yesterday was beyond rude. Her tone and attitude were awful! I asked for assistance getting the gate code because I did a no contact rental and received 3 different emails from them. We were already at the gate when I realized that the gate code wasn't in any of the emails. The sad part is I was storing items that I had to move for my mom who is almost 70 . My mom had to move all of her things in 3 days due to a unethical landlord. It was already a very stressful day and she even had the nerve to tell me we couldn't enter her property behind another vehicle! I ended up hanging up in her face! She called back to ask if I found the code and I told her yes! I also told her you never know what people are dealing with and there is no need to be so ugly! I didn't have time to go by the office because yesterday was the last day to finish moving. I am going to contact corporate and give my awful experience! read more

Get your belongings and RUN from this place. Lost my belongings to mold in 4.25 months, climate controlled. Public Storage, Orange Door Insurance, and 3rd party Sedgwick are not accredited with the BBB. They're insurance policy is only paying $250 with $100 deductible for a full 10 x 10 with $7k plus in receipts; worse is it's common here. RUN! read more

Public Storage advertises 2nd month free. Go to rent unit and they tell you that insurance is mandatory. Extra fees right away. 2nd month comes along. Go to office to get access code. They tell me I have a 8.07 balance and would you like to pay that today. I pay the balance. Go to my unit and find it padlocked. You guessed it. I pay 135 plus 8.07 a month for unit. A 8.07 balance gets the unit padlocked. Amazing. Nothing said when I pay the balance and my question is if I didn't pay the balance how would I access my unit? Pushy sales. Pushy for reviews at time of contract. Well here's an additional review. I don't play silly games like locking my unit over a small balance I wasn't aware of and took care of immediately once I was made aware. Common Sense is not being used at this business and I will be using another storage facility due to thus petty behavior. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I moved out on the first and scheduled it through the app and am still being charged a full month of rent. For one day. And on top of that they are still putting that unit out for rent so someone else is going to pay rent on a unit I already paid the rent for? Absolutely ridiculous. 30 minute hold to even speak to someone in customer service and all they do is transfer to an automated machine to leave a voicemail and someone might contact you in 24-48 hours. Collecting rent twice for the same unit? Scammy and gross business conduct. The property manager at this location is super nice. Their corporate policy is absolutely disgusting. Why even have the option of moving out on the first if one still has to pay for that full month? Oh right, it's so they can just rip off someone else too. I highly suggest using small business storage place and NOT lining the pockets of these greedy corporate chain companies. read more

Very helpful manager. and will even share a mean recipe while you wait! The storage is real decent though the larger external units aren't well lit if at all. Great value for the money for the area for non climate space. No AC Power, at least not in my 10x25 unit. For the record, a 10 x 25 is actually an opening of 8 feet, 6 inches. So be sure to measure if you are counting on that 10feet. Turns out my 66in tandem trailer is too wide to get into the unit. Very clean property and simple layout. No problem getting sizable trailers into the property, though you can access from eastbound direction on Louetta Rd westbound access requires a U-turn on to get to the driveway. The online services are excellent and convenient, however the paperwork and process to rent a simple space is ridiculously complicated. You will feel like you're buying a new car and financing it!! Seriously. I love you that there is onsite residence as this gives more confidence. Don't love the inconvenience of entering code to leave. I don't think it adds any more security to do that. Finally, I wish there was 24/7 access to the storage. Right now it's 9PM and to me that's too restrictive. Again, I don't see that as adding security. 10-11 o'clock would be a nice compromise. This used to be Morning Star Storage when I moved into my climate controlled unit in 2010. It was well managed and had a friendly staff that was always eager to assist. Public storage now has it and the place is pretty bad. The temperature in my storage unit is 85 degrees. My contract says it is maintained at 78. This rent has gone up 130% and the staff is argumentative about everything. I asked if about using their dumpster for 3 boxes, small boxes and the woman just went off on me. The phones go out, and lord forbid you don't have your gate code handy, another teeth pulling issue, or at least she reacts in that manner. I'll be out by the end of the month. If you are looking for a dependable storage facility that is well run and we'll maintained, keep looking, this is NOT your place. read more

I would have to say that this is one of the best Public Storage locations I've been to. The manager, Candi was so kind and she really did her best to find a place that fits the best for us. We were shown the storage ahead of time and she provided many tips on how to move more efficiently. This was the best experience I have had in one of the most stressful times. Moving is not always fun and easy and especially in the summer. But the property manager Christine made it one of the easiest experiences I have ever had. She was very attentive to my concerns and needs and also made sure to inform me about all the merchandise I could utilize to make my transition a lot easier. She was GREAT!! There are several other Public Storage's that are closer to me but when I first walked in and was greeted by the property manager Candi, after speaking with her for several minutes I knew this was the Public Storage facility for me. She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease since the last storage facility I used years ago (not Public Storage) I had a very bad experience with my belongings.
