Yet forgot to bring the lock to the front office in order to finalize the move out date. After seeing a charge on my account and a following pending next month of payment, I called to see what happened or where the disconnect was. It's a bit nerve wrecking as living overseas and being unable to physically go to the office. After speaking with John Salinas, he was very transparent, communicative and professional. He helped to rectify the situation, refunded the charge and made the transition smooth and easy whilst closing out the account. We came by one night and accidentally shut the door but did not actually lock the unit. We got a call the next day saying the unit was unsecured so we could come by and fix it. I appreciate that level of security and service. Sometimes there is a wait in the office since there's normally only one person, but again, were so friendly! My contract says the next payment would be the agreed upon rate due on April 1st. On April 1st I noticed I was charged $34 more than my contracted rate. When I called management Ronnie (new property Mngr) stated that there was a new price increase!! This is unfair and frankly illegal as my contract states that tenant must be given 30 days notice before any changes in price. Is this a sudden COVID-19 price increase??

Great customer service was not something I thought about or expected when renting from a storage facility, but My Attic Storage really nailed it! I appreciated being able to use their truck at no charge when moving in. The unit was clean and I never saw any bugs or rodents anywhere inside the building or unit. There were always several rolling carts available to use when moving my belongings to and from the unit. Having the motion sensor with text alerts gave me peace of mind that my belongings were safe. The price was reasonable and competitive with nearby storage facilities. If I need a storage unit again in the future, I will not hesitate to rent again from My Attic Storage.

I have been a customer for 20+ years and loved the facility until it was bought a few years ago. I…read morerented 2 units at one time and have paid alot of money to this facility. Not sure who the new owners are but the woman that runs this facility needs lessons in customer service. I have had a few issues with her but the most recent was Feb 2024. I had fraud on my bank account and my bank froze my account. They reopened a new account and wrote a letter to my creditors so that I would not be held accountable for late fees and such. I called A1 mini storage to advise of my issue and the gentleman that I spoke with advised to send a check when I got my new ones in and to send the letter as well. Which is what I did. The woman at the facility called me and asked about the payment and I advised that I had just sent it in along with the letter. I advised what the gentleman had said, she started raising her voice and advised this was not her problem, that I needed to pay the $25 late fee. I told her that in all my years I had never experienced the lack of customer service that I have from her. She just started yelling. I really think she has a mental problem because I didn't see a reason for her to carry on the way she was. She was screaming at me and I couldn't say a word so I hung up on her. The times before I just assumed she was having a bad day but this is not an excuse. Needless to say I paid the late fee and am NO longer a customer. I will never advise for anyone to rent from these folks and I hope that many more will go elsewhere. Too many rental facilities in the same area to be treated this way. I paid 20-30K to this facility over the years and she acted this way over $25. Good Riddance to A1 Mini Storage.
