I like this option especially since we're still going through a Pandemic. I followed the directions on website to the T. The only thing I would suggest is 1. Show a video in how to open the Word Lock Pad. I had no experience with that particular pad, so took a few struggles before I figured it out. 2. My check-in time should not be the time I arrive, but the time that I actually finish with all steps to check-in. 3. To extend or add time to my return of the vehicle was not accessible. I had to call in to do so. That makes the web page a little inconvenient. I want to add that the upload speed was slow, and the approval process was slow too. As for the check-out experience: 1. There should be signs on the tent to park vehicles under the tent when returning. Signs should not say "equipment returns" only, but "equipment and vehicle returns". 2. I followed the website to park my vehicle in the parking lot, and was going through the steps to notate the gas levels, odometer, and cleanliness. The last step was to lock the key in the back, and a worker came up to tell me to repark under the tent, and leave the key and lock in the cup holder. I have no issues following the directions, but the website and workers are countering each other. Who am I supposed to follow? It's not supposed to be confusing. I think they need more signage, and clear up some confusions.

Asked numerous times for help and for a better understanding but was just shot down by her disrespectful and poor attitude. I don't recommend using this service for car rental.

We rented a vehicle from Magnolia, Texas for a trip we were taking with our family. Upon receiving…read morethe vehicle, we got home to realize it was having electrical issues, the display screen would go blank or freeze at any given moment. This led us to not have any control of the AC System or the radio amongst other features. The weather had brought in a cold front and we couldn't even turn on the heat. We were leaving on our trip the very next morning so we loaded it up and started our drive to Florida. Immediately as soon as the customer service was open, I called numerous times and spoke to numerous people. Finally, I was told to drive it to the airport in Louisiana for an exchange. At the rental counter, no one was available to assist us and I finally found an employee inside the rental area who said they were short staffed. She handed me another set of keys, said I didn't need to sign anything or get new paperwork for the previous or the new vehicle- Just to move all our stuff from one to the other and leave the original vehicles keys in the car. We exchanged a ford explorer for a Jeep grand Cherokee. While we were exchanging vehicles, another budget employee came around collecting keys from other vehicles in the parking garage. We brought him over to discuss a rear light that was busted out. He wrote up a note on our paperwork along with his employee ID number and told us that it should be sufficient. I took photos as well. Upon turning in the secondary vehicle, the lady did a walk around, interior check and printed out our final bill. This morning I woke up to an email with a damage report on the jeep for the busted out light. The whole experience, from beginning to end could have been better. Now to be blamed for damages we didn't cause... not taking the chance on y'all again.
