I noticed a small hole in the ceiling and was told they are tree rats and that is how they got in. The office wasn't open for several days after I discovered the rats so I put traps in my unit (and caught 4 RATS myself). I called and left a voicemail every day to let them know about the issue and never received a call back. After several days I happened to stop by my unit while it was office to let them know about the rats. They asked me to leave a key so they could let an exterminator in the unit. I told them it was my only key and I would need it back asap. They assured me they put in a rush order and I could collect my key in a day or two. Four days later after once again leaving voicemails I needed to get in the unit so I stopped by the office. I was told by a different employee that they never let anyone in the units and I should have never been asked to leave a key. After all that happened I rushed to move my stuff out. I was told my unit would be prorated and they would work on giving me a partial refund. Public storage does not prorate and still waiting on a partial refund.
