Their contract comes with a tiny clause on section 2. States they can change your price anytime they want. Which they did and on my 2nd month I paid 2x my original price. I would not recommend this storage as you will not have 24 hour access to your unit. No elevators so you are forced to carry your thing up and down stairs that are falling apart. They keep going up on the prices yet nothing is changing about the units. I started off paying $84 in March of 2023, my storage is now $141 and nothing on my end has changed including the unit. Customer service is very rude and not helpful at all. Then I get a message today saying they are adding an additional $50 to my bill for a combination lock that I did not ask for! Very inconvenient. The property needs a much needed cleaning and paint. I will say Miss. Shay is extremely professional and was very kind and accommodated my needs. The rate I received is a value for the amount of time I need my items in storage. I think if Miss. Shay was not there I would have taken my business elsewhere. Today I was blessed to work with Kim over the phone. Honestly, it's hard to type this because that's how helpful and caring she was with me today. Her patience and go above to make sure that I was taken care of and did not loose my property. This last week alone was just hard for me and my kids with us having covid, pneumonia, strep, flu, and ear infection on top of car problems. Just to know that we still have her stuff because of her caring and not having one of those idc attitudes. Yall are blessed to have her working for the company. I mean I just balled crying knowing we still have our things because we're all the way in Alabama, but moving back to Houston in April and need our things. Keep her! Promote her! If I could give this place zero rating, I totally would. I never leave reviews but they really do deserve me taking my time to post to warn people NOT to rent a unit here! Be warned!! If you try to get in contact with them, it will take a really long while... even if you go to the office, they are not there. They post some signs that they are helping someone on the property, that they will return but they don't. I don't know if they do this and just hide out in the back so they don't have to deal with anyone, or what. We really needed help with our unit so my husband waited over an hour for them to come back from "helping a customer " and they never did. Just horrible, horrible service. so far everything is very good i have no complaints everything just like i was told on line about your storage company!!! the employees were very kind and professional!! the only thing i have a concern about is the next month january 1,2023 i wasn't offered my veterans or senior citizens discount but that is ok if i could get either one for being an honorably discharged disabled vietnam u.s. air force veteran (my age is 66) ut would help me out a lot for i'm on a very limited budget!! i don't plan beinv no longe than maybe next month january 2023 possibky no longer than february 2023!! i should have a new residence by then i'm having to move from my present residence by force i'm on a hud vash voucher and every peny save is truly a blessing for me!! thankyou for your service and taking me in on very short notice!! be safe and blessed by god always!! read more

zero stars!!!!!! so i went to this location on friday no one was there so i left! made a reservation online saturday morning to be there sunday. went back to just check the unit cause i really wanted to see if i needed a bigger unit and of course no one was there yet again. so i went sunday the light where on and so i waited cause i really wanted to see the unit inside. so i ended up calling 1800 number n they ended up helping me finish my reservation so i was able to go see the unit on my own. so when i went to see it it was to small so i waited for the manager to come back i thought maybe she's at lunch. so i waited i seen the office lights on cause i got off to see inside well while i was waiting in my car the lights went off. by the time i went to look no one was there. i called over n over even the 1800 number n they said she could only switch my units cause i paid already. so i waited left messages n nothing no call back. horrible customer service! i had to stay with them cause i paid n i really need the unit. they need another manager! read more

Public storage has good service and the right thing that's good for me I think it's okay. Has a good amount of space for me to work with.

The ladies in the office were very detailed and asked open ended questions about what exactly I need the storage units for. One of the ladies I believe was the property manager took the time out to walk the facility with me and let me choose for convenience or storage unit that was close to the freight elevator and she walked me through detail by detail of my agreement and what it all entailed. Very friendly and outgoing young ladies greeted me with a smile and thank me for my business. read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE!!! If I could give this facility no stars then I would. My husband and I were treated with the most horrible and rudest customer service, we have ever experienced. We went to our storage facility on a Saturday night to get a pair of shoes. When we firs opened the door to the hall, there was a dryer sitting right in front of the door. We walked passed and paid it no mind, headed to our unit and got the shoes and left. We were there maybe less that 5 minutes. We get a call the next morning, basically accusing us of leaving a dryer in the hall. We were explaining that the dryer was not ours and it was there when we got there. She said "according to the cameras, you were the only people that entered with that code and we left a dryer." She didn't like us being defensive and said she was charging the account for leaving the dryer and hung up in our faces. Who does that??? She claimed to be the manager and we had to call back three times before she answered the phone, because she knew it was us. She continued to be rude and hang up. Please do something about your customer service or the workers that have to call people because that was far from customer service and the wrong way to treat a customer who pays on time every month and has never give any problems. Besides the way me and my husband were treated, we have no had any problems. I will be speaking with corporate or the person in charge this week. read more
