The management told me themselves, after I made 3 separate phone calls and filed 2 complaints with corporate, that they see this all the time and there's nothing they can do about it. In fact, I was the second person this month in my building to file a mold complaint. Something they never bothered to mention to their other customers. I might have been able to take preventive measures if I had known. The filter on the AC unit is grimy and covered in mold, so I can't help but feel that the issue is pure negligence. Hopefully this review saves you from this mess. I'm now having to file an insurance claim to replace my things while trying to find a new place to store what's left.

This company was not transparent with their rates. Additional guys showed up without my knowledge,…read morean additional moving truck showed up, again without my consent, & without even my knowledge until I noticed 2 trucks arrive at my new house. There was no estimate offered or maximum charge for the move, as (I discovered later) they're required to provide. There was no communication surrounding the moving supplies, their cost, no itemized list of supplies provided, only an arbitrary "supplies - $350" written on the invoice, nor even provided after the fact upon request. One of the company's partners, Scott, was unwilling to provide answers to my billing questions, it was difficult to complete a sentence without him interrupting me & making legal threats. The movers also destroyed my $5k mattress. When brought to Scott's attention, he blamed me for not inquiring about, nor purchasing, additional insurance coverage. The information, he claimed, was provided to me - it was not. There's a line to initial on the contract, to acknowledge receipt (which is blank), & that I was expected to flip through & read everything on the clipboard. I was expected to rummage through someone else's clipboard without any reference of its existence. Regarding the destroyed mattress, they offered me $150 for it. When it became clear that communicating with Scott would be unproductive, I requested to speak with someone else from the company but it remained unacknowledged until Scott suddenly ended the call. I've unfortunately had to consult with legal counsel to determine how to best further pursue it. This matter currently remains unresolved.

I was moving from a 4th floor apartment with an elevator to a third floor apartment with no elevator. My total was $200, which didn't seem bad at first. They sent two movers. The movers were 20 minutes late, although we'd confirmed the time three days prior. The movers themselves were kind, and they worked quickly; it took them two hours to complete everything. They did not come with the right moving equipment. I think they rented a U-Haul and used the dolly that came with it. They didn't tape any of the drawers shut, wrap anything in plastic, or even strap my items to the dolly while they were moving them. At the end of the move, one of the movers directly asked me for a tip. It felt a bit uncouth, but I was already going to tip them so I wasn't deeply bothered by it. I tipped each mover $50. I later realized they broke my dresser in several areas. The whole thing is very wobbly, the drawers stick, and there are areas where I can see clear damage. I'm going to have to get a new dresser altogether, which is upsetting considering I paid and tipped them a total of $300. I would not consider booking with this company again. I wish I could get a refund so I can put that money toward a new dresser.

To top it off the went through multiple managers and the last one , James was a really unpleasant property manager to deal with. I was a tenant for years and received a notice that I had to vacate in less than 14 days due to late payments. I will go back to Public storage or any other company if I ever need a storage unit.
