When I moved out of one of my two rental spaces I had to wait for 45+ minutes for an employee to finish their bathroom break to unlock the gate and my storage space that was already paid for. I called multiple times the weeks prior to clearly communicate and even called the morning of my move to pay my daily rate. However, my gate access was revoked (even though I have a second space at the same facility paid through January) and there was a super-lock on my storage space I was moving out of. It cost me over $100 for their employee to go to the bathroom. (Employee verified to my husband who located him that he was on a bathroom break). I called the Monday after my move to explain what happened and I was offered a $25 credit. This acknowledges they were in the WRONG. Yet, why am I paying more than an additional $75 for their employee's toilet break? When I called corporate they tried everything to blame their error on me. I wasted another 40-minutes on the phone with them and was left with the promise someone from corporate would be in touch with me in 48 hours. No such call occurred. This is sheer ignorance and GREED on their end. This is a horrible way to treat a long term customer. Loyalty goes both ways. This is the shadiest company. They're constantly raising their prices and never return calls. When I called the store to initially complain the young man working there LIED to me and gave me a fake name and number to management. Store your stuff elsewhere. Unit B3084 09/09/2023 - date my money was wasted on an employee bathroom break at 11am - 11:45 am My team of 9 movers had nothing to move for 45-minutes and cost me $115, and made the end time of my move late. To resolve this I need an apology and $100 refund.

The storage facility manager cut the lock on my unit to allow someone to "deliver" [something?] to it without calling me and asking first. Explicitly in breach of their own contract. After realizing that the contents of my unit didn't seem in line with what was being delivered, they checked the guys paperwork and realized it was the wrong unit. Maybe. They gave me new locks, but seem to completely miss the fact that 1. Per their own contract, they are not permitted to access the unit for reasons like this. 2. It's not acceptable to cut someone's unit open because some random delivery person says they need to put something in it.

In the process, however, they didn't cover anything in my unit resulting in a quarter inch layer of crud over EVERYTHING. I had a big go 'round with them early on about paying with one check for two units. They never could figure out how to apply one check to two units and then wanted to charge me late fees because they couldn't figure it out. Of course, they would call just hours before they closed to let me know -- the following day being past the grace period. Worse, they lied about it and said they had called me earlier in the week. All calls to my phone are documented as to time and date. I have documented proof they did not. I guess I asked them to combine the units in one account so that they wouldn't screw it up anymore. Recently, they hiked my rates again (yearly, always) and I guess I overlooked the notice (my bad). I sent enough to cover one unit but was short on the other due to the hike. They called me and explained and said they would apply payment to one unit and crediti the other. I went in to pay the remainder and was charged late fees on BOTH units. Why? Because the units WERE COMBINED IN ONE ACCOUNT. The same person that had previously told me they would apply my payment to one of the units tells me this. I doubt I will be able to move out of there anytime soon because of Harvey. The minute I can, I'm outta there.

Showed me a few options for different sizes so I could the right one! Walked me through the rates that happened to be great as they currently have specials on all of their units! She got me all signed up, and out the door in record time! I even offered to get her her lunch for cutting into her lunch time and even though she declined I appreciate how efficient she was! I highly recommend, this storage facility, they are climate controlled and offer insurance! Keep in mind you do need to pay for admin fess and potentially a lock, so don't get sticker shocked on your first months rent! It should be a one time thing so don't worry!
