However, I was extremely impressed by the level Of care, professionalism and punctuality these men had from start to Finish. With my last movers I had 3 guys and had to constantly keep looking for one of them and telling him to come help the other movers. He (the owner) would just linger around and I saw him folding wrapping cloths in his truck to add time to my move. & I later realized they broke some of my bedroom furniture. It was RIDICULOUS! But with A1 they got done in half the amount of time with only two Guys and never stopped working or went MIA !! Everything was still in top top shape afterwards , I was VERYYYY impressed and glad I took a chance on A1. The owner is very dedicated and treated my things with so much care. These men worked HARD and it was blazing hot outside! No complaints, no lallygagging, they showed up on time and didn't stop until the job was done. Fantastic work!! Thanks so much for making a stressful move so easy for me!

We have used corporate movers in the past and these companies will tell you just about anything you want to hear. Their agents are usually independent or third party agents that don't actually work for the company, so it doesn't matter to them if they keep their promises or not. When you call A1, you speak directly to the owner. Adrian knows this business inside and out, and you can trust his quotes to be honest and accurate. Not only that, but since you're cutting out an agent that would make commission, the rates are a lot more affordable too. One huge differentiator is that Adrian cares about each job and as such, he will be there on moving day to direct the team, making sure that all promises made are promises kept. Adrian and his team make it a point to treat you like family and handle your belongings as if they are their own. In fact, our family has hired A1 several times in the last year to help out with not just moving but also heavy furniture moving, lifting, and more. We didn't know Adrian, his team, or this company before our move. But you can be certain that for all our needs in the future, or for the needs of our friends and loved ones, they will be the ONLY people we call. So for anyone moving to or from Houston, or for anyone that needs these types of services in the Greater Houston area, look no further. As someone that scours Yelp and Google reviews on the daily and is incredibly frugal yet picky, I confidently recommend this company to provide value and quality you can trust. That is something you can't find in a lot of companies nowadays, except for those rare, magical exceptions. And Adrian and his team at A1 All Day Movers is definitely one of them.

Whether you're with family or alone it's very stressful organizing and finalizing details fora move. I appreciated the convenience of scheduling . There was a rainstorm the day of my move. The team didn't slack off to run the clock , from the moment they got there they were working diligently and very sweet. They were sweating so made sure they had fresh towels and stayed hustle hydrated. I was grateful the rain let up enough in transition to my new place, they were so professional, yes I tipped them for sure it was very appreciated. Definitely recommend GSM movers! L

I would not feel safe letting him into my home again. Mauk makes himself available at short notice, which makes his service convenient -- until it isn't. I paid dearly for that convenience. See below for the instances I used his services. Last instance is the encounter that had me questioning my own judgment and made me realize that I put our lives in danger. My move: He and one other guy moved only boxes -- no heavy furniture -- and ran the clock the entire time. Marketplace dresser: I called ahead for a flat price to avoid the time-wasting. He showed up an hour late because he went to the wrong address (his own mistake), then threw a tantrum and tried to reschedule -- while the seller was waiting. After four hours of yelling and blaming everyone but himself, he finally delivered it. The last straw (glass tabletop): This is the most alarming incident. I hired him to pick up a large glass tabletop and deliver it to the second floor of a home. I had texted him both the dimensions and the stair detail in advance. When he arrived and realized taking the glass upstairs required more than two people, he accused me of tricking him. I showed him the texts. He shifted -- claiming I never gave dimensions. Also wrong. He then refused to take it upstairs and demanded full payment. My husband said he'd be paid once the job was done. Mauk erupted -- screaming profanity, demanding someone call the police. It was frightening and embarrassing (since the neighbors could hear). We paid him just to end it. He promised to return the next day with help for an extra $100. He never came back. The glass top is still sitting downstairs. Update: the owner replied and, as expected he decided to be untruthful, so I'm uploading proof. The uploaded video proves that 1. He claims customers need to figure out how many people are needed not him or his company based on facts provided by the customer and 2. That, as I said in my post, he would return the next day to move the item for an additional $100 (total $300). I am also attaching photo of the text I sent him telling him the item is very large and located on the 2nd floor.
