The lady that works here by the name of Christine is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I've been using the storage facility for three years. They have cameras and gated access. Climate control works and I never feel unsafe going here even at night knowing that I'm on camera and everything is gated. They have several different size units from ones you can fit RVs inside to the small ones with offices where you can run your small business they also have climate controlled and not climate controlled to meet your needs when I found them. They were the best price in the area and I randomly check to make sure that I'm not missing a deal somewhere else and they still continue to beat everyone in the area. read more

I was using a different storage and in the process of researching new places, I came across Storage Saums Road. First it was convenient and second the price was right! I made a call to get the rates on different sizes and found out that they didn't have the size I needed in climate controlled. I had previously been in a non climate controlled at my old place. Well I was offered an upgraded size and climate controlled at a price that beat my old storage. I immediately moved out!. They are very clean and I am very satisfied. Besides needing to store personal items, I can also feel assured that items I may need to store for commercial needs can be kept here at a very reasonable rate compared to commercial warehousing, especially dealing with trinkets and other smaller items that may be susceptible to Houston's varying climates. This was by far my worst experience with U-Haul. I will never and I repeat never use this company again! I got sucked into this app check out and rental agreement only to be screwed over! I was supposed to pick my truck up at 8am for a move that was happening at 9am, the entire app worked correctly until I received the code to get my keys out of the lock box. After trying all the boxes a multiple of times I finally decided I would call the trouble shoot number on the app / after multiple and I mean multiple phone calls / voicemails over at least an hour period to someone by the name of Ben with no answer. I received a phone call back from him only to hang up upon my answer and then send he remaining phone calls to voicemail. The only other trouble shoot was to wait for the office to open which was at noon?!? So needless to say after being on hold with customer service for over yet another hour I finally got the correct combination and was able to get the truck. I lost my movers and my deposit thanks to the tour hour delay and had to move myself, I will be contacting customer service for my 50$ reservation guarantee and will never and I repeat never be using UHaul again! read more

I did a lot of research to find the perfect storage facility for my new 5th Wheel RV and kept coming back to Saums. It had everything I needed for the right price for my budget. It was important that the management was attentive and professional, especially if I am going to leave my investment there. Both owner and manager are very friendly and attentive. I have stored my large box trailer at their facility for 6 months with no issues related to damage, vandalism or otherwise. My daughter used their 5x5 locker for six months also and ended the relationship only because she no longer needed the space. read more

This place is a great find. It used to be the bowling alley and they renovated it for storage. It's climate controlled and all on the first floor. Plus it's brand new so everything is clean. The customer service was above and beyond especially Crystal. Def recommend. read more

Crystal at Storage Saums Road was excellent help to me. She had a happy smile the whole time helping me and seem to know the business like the back of her hand. She rented me a storage space the perfect size needed which saved me money and told me all about how to avoid late charges. The hours for help is 24/7 if you need anything or forget your security gate key, and you can put insurance on it of your choice.
