BEWARE! I want to share my experience to help those most vulnerable make a better decision than I…read moredid. I hired Roshawna or whatever her name is to clean two of my homes. The issues I had with her are as follows: she took entirely too long; she talked on her telephone the entire time she was cleaning; she brought an unauthorized person to my home; she didn't honor what the contract said she would clean. The first time she cleaned my home was on a Saturday. She said the job would only take 4 hours. She arrived at my home around 10:30 AM and did not leave until 3:30 AM the next day. She left twice. The first time I was OK with her leaving because it was now 4 PM and I needed to go to the grocery store (I thought she would have been done by now). She returned late and brought a guy who had been smoking marijuana; the smell was so strong that it lingered all through my two story home. I talked to her about bringing a man to my house without my permission (especially since he had been smoking marijuana). She apologize and I had to pay him and for his Uber home. Around 9 PM she said her brother needed his car therefore, she left again to take her brother his car. I noticed that she never finished one room completely and her excuse was that she was going to come back to it but she didn't. I tried hard to give her the benefit of the doubt because she said she was just doing me a favor and that she usually didn't work on Saturdays. Plus, she does have a beautiful personality. The second home she cleaned was 2300 sq ft; 3 bedrooms and two baths, living room and kitchen; but the first home was 3200 sq ft and more rooms. She said she would charged me by the hour since the home was smaller and it wasn't a lot to clean. She arrived late due to some altercation at a gas station she had with the cashier. She came on a Wednesday and got started around 10:50 AM. She cleaned a small bathroom for two and a half hours. She started on a small bedroom that was already cleaned but needed the furniture dust and to be swept. She worked for about 30 minutes in that bedroom and then decided to go to lunch. She left around 1:20 PM and returned around 2:20 PM and then sat down and ate. After she finished eating, she stated that she would have to leave to take her brother to go play basketball if I didn't pay for him an Uber. When I complained about her being on the telephone, she claimed she had to talk on the telephone with her brother because she was using his car; and that she didn't know why the other people were calling her since they knew she was at work. (Also, I want to note that she then said she worked 6 days out of a week but before she said she didn't work on Saturdays-red flag!) She cleaned only two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 4 ceiling fans, and the oven. She didn't clean the oven good and stated that she couldn't get it perfect and she acted like she didn't know how to use the oven cleaner; she left black stuff on the bathroom tiles, and didn't clean underneath the toilet in the first bathroom. She said she cleaned the drawers out in the bathroom but she didn't. Her boyfriend called around 10:25 PM and then she was ready to leave without finishing the entire job. She said she would come back another day to finish the things she didn't get to. She left around 10:30 PM. I immediately felt bamboozled. She still had not cleaned the ceiling fans at the first house and I helped her clean both homes. I wrestled a lot with writing this review and at one point I prayed to just forgive her and move on. However, forgiving a person doesn't mean that I don't tell the truth about their services. I felt it was important to write this review because I am a senior citizen and this review may help other senior citizens from being taken advantage of and cheated. People rely on these reviews for good and honest services. Also, I felt very uncomfortable with her bringing a man to my home that had been smoking marijuana; and with her making videos of my house without my permission. At that point, I felt that she was setting me up to be robbed or burglarized. In addition, the least this review may serve is to help Roshawna re-evaluate her business methods.
