Of I could give zero stars I would. Thru moved us in and everything was great. We had one month free upon moving in. After a few months the amount doubled. No warning no nothing. The woman who worked there harassed my kids when going to the unit. They gave it on tape. They had us pay the rent and then she warned to call the police every time they come to the unit. No Reason for it other than them asking why she was tripping. the man that works in the office was nice and had common sense. They need to get rid of that lady and maybe they will get better. Even other customers stopped my kids when leaving to tell them she is like that with everyone and told them times to go when they can avoid her. Smh. I am speaking with lawyers now to get my money back they didn't refund for a month we we not there. You have been warned. read more

Poor customer service. We were diverted to this location via Uhaul for a replacement trailer rental. When we arrived at 2p, the door was locked and a sign was up that said CLOSED. There was also a sign that stated Saturday hours were 9a-6p. I called the location (and Uhaul) several times without reaching anyone at the location. After about an hour, I finally received a call back from the mgr and she said to come in. The door was now unlocked and she said she was out back with another employee. There were no apologies or any reference to a "Be right back" sign that is a standard business practice in this situation. Her personality was very curt and she made no attempt at good customer service but kept deflecting by saying she doesn't for Uhaul. Later, in hooking up the trailer and tow chains, she changed the way I hooked them up by twisting the chains to make up for the excess length. This is not Uhaul standard practice. It's also not safe in general. But she did not want to hear it and threatened to cancel my rental after I tried to justify what I know. Overall, this manager wanted to be in control and not have anyone question her, she has a huge chip on her shoulder. I will never go there again. read more

Mobile check in was a disaster and the staff slipped CDW in even after I declined it.

I was unable to rate the Uhaul experience extremely poor. We reserved a 20' truck days in advanced close to our final destination and Uhaul moved our truck location to a different location twice. They moved the truck from close to our destination to over twenty miles away. We had to wonder around Houston to different locations to get a reserved truck. The overall Uhaul experience was notgrear but it was smoothed over by Vickie at the Eldridge Self Storage location. She was very understanding and did the best she could to improve the poor costumer service we previously encountered. We had to settle for a 17' truck that she had at her location. I have nothing but good things to say about Eldridge Self Storage and their staff. We have used them to store my mother's things when she had to move into a skilled nursing facility. The place is clean and the staff very nice and helpful. I can't think of anything to complain about. Highly recommended. read more

I had a business unit at this location for a few months and they are absolutely fantastic! They are always on location, unlike some who leave for hours on end and put up a "be back at 2:00 sign". I have had a climate controlled storage unit at Eldridge Self Storage for appx.10 years and have always been extremely pleased with how well managed this facility is. The manager, Vicki, is always willing to do whatever it takes to work with and help the customer and always goes "the extra mile" to provide good service.
