We had a large unit here for 5 years and highly recommend. The space was clean, well lit, plenty of dollies available, and the elevators always were working, a must as we were on the 6th floor. I'm going to update my score of Big Tex to four stars. During my dealings with management, I was definitely put in my place. Pretty much, I really didn't have a choice. My options were limited. I could've just dumped everything that I had in my storage unit and left it there. For them to clean up. I thought about that. But that's just not me. I took on the responsibility for the stuff, and I was gonna deal with it. It took me three months, and, I was able to sell everything, and get what wasn't sold moved into my apartment. Where I can continue the process of eliminating this burden. In my last week at Big Tex, I ran into the manager, he was very apologetic, I mean, he really was upset when we had our first conversation. He has his own problems he has to deal with and he did take it out on me. That's part was true. But, he did apologize. And honestly, I have to take some accountability for being dumb. The world of the storage units, is an expensive place. You just have to acknowledge that. When you are in this world, you are obviously desperate. They provide you a place to give you a chance to put yourself back together, and, if life has put you in a situation where you have to be in this world, Big Tex is an excellent storage facility, and the people who work there are great too. I'm sorry we had our event. Thank you for giving me the time I needed to solve the problem I was in. read more

I used Big Tex storage on Wesleyan for a few months starting this past January 2017. They were offering a great deal, 50% off the first three months -which is an amazing bargain for this top notch facility. As a customer, you even have access to their large moving truck along with moving supplies for a full day. The staff there is kind, courteous and very helpful. The facility is clean, well lit, under 24 surveillance and I never felt uncomfortable or frightened there, which is important to me as a single woman. I never accessed my unit during hours when the staff wasn't there, but only because I'm overly cautious; I don't think it's safe for any woman to go to any storage facility at night alone. However, the environment at Big Tex felt so safe I almost did go alone at night (until I came to my senses lol). I will definitely use Big Tex storage in the future and I highly recommend it. read more

Highly recommend this Beautiful storage facility! Ultra clean, safe and easy access to all units. All packing and moving Supplies available and the security camera and codes make it very comfortable to go in after hours. Thumbs up to Nicole who processed me in!!!! She takes pride in the job and represents the company with utmost professional manner. She went above and beyond to help me out of my stressful moving situation and found me that perfect unit . As good as it gets! Seriously!!! Both the facilities and service are A1, but the service really sets Big Tex apart. The price is on the higher side, but after my experience with Big Tex, I think the price is well worth it. I called around enquiring about business storage and they made me feel very comfortable that my needs would be taken care of. I really didn't need to look further. They were able to answer any questions or concerns I had about the process as I was expecting a big shipment. Very nice facilities. Clean and easily accessible. The free truck is a great BONUS and the late night / early morning access makes it very convenient. They have video surveillance not only in the office, but you can see the video monitors from each floor as well. This is a nice feature as you are loading / unloading as it allows you to view your car while you are by the elevator on a different floor. The staff are great as well. The people at Big Tex could not be nicer and the facility is beautifully run and very clean. (I've had storage units for 25 years, and Big Tex is heads above all of the others!) I already had existing units at Big Tex before Hurricane Harvey, but after it hit, everyone there has been so supportive since my home flooded and I needed extra units. They helped out so many of my "Harvied" neighbors. They really have gone far and beyond duty to help me out though my 6 years with them!! When we put our house on the market, Big Tex Storage at 24922 Kuykendahl Rd, Tomball, TX 77375 was a perfect help to thin it out and store many items we didn't need until later so the house showed great..AND Sold Very Quickly. We went from one storage up to three storage units of various sizes , and when we moved into an apartment B for a new home would be finished . The staff at the tags were wonderful and always very helpful. The units surrounding area and office is always clean and inviting . We felt safe as everything was well lit and behind gates anytime a day When we needed to get into our units.
