I was told by someone that all I needed to do was let someone at the office know I moved out. No one was there to tell. I tried calling 3 - 4 times and the recording said "the mailbox is full." Finally, I called Corporate who tried calling them (at a telephone number I did not find online) and said someone will get back to me. We are down here only in winter so we have been customers for several years and keep a lot of stuff we care about in storage. There has never been a problem. The company keeps making price increases, some pretty extreme, and recently Timothy helped us identify a couple of discounts we qualified for. That definitely has helped keep us here.

On April 2, I made a manual payment of $53 after being told autopay did not go through. On April 6, I made a few calls to the property however, no one answered. I went in person to confirm the payment was received. The manager, JP, told me everything was processed and my account was fine. Now on April 15, I'm being told that same payment was returned for "insufficient funds" and I suddenly owe nearly $100 in fees. This is inaccurate. I had over $300 in my account at the time, so there is no valid reason the payment should have been returned. If there's proof needed I do have bank statements proving there is no reason the full payment shouldn't have been taken out of my account. What makes this worse is the lack of communication: * Calls go unanswered * Voicemails are not returned * No one follows up unless corporate is contacted * In-person, no real solution is offered I have been proactive every step of the way--making the payment, calling to confirm, verifying it in person, and trying to get answers. Despite that, I'm being charged fees for an issue that is not my fault. At a minimum, all late and additional fees should be waived, yet JP says he's unable to unable or unwilling..... despite proof of funds at that time he was not at all understanding and gave a generic we're sorry you feel that way. I'm sorry you don't like your job sir! Given the inconvenience, misinformation, and time I've had to spend resolving this, I also expect appropriate accommodation, such as a rental credit.i This situation reflects a serious lack of accountability and customer service. I would strongly encourage corporate to review this location's management and processes.

The location is perfect for where we stay. The property is well maintained, the locks for the units…read moreseem secure and there are cameras through out. It seems to be a very secure building. The concern though is that I needed a unit with 40sq ft. I signed to pay for a 4'x10' and the unit is actually 3'x10'. I realized it was smaller when I was moving my items and it wasn't fitting as I expected. The property manager Jessica was super helpful when I was looking to rent a unit, yet was matter of fact when I raised the concern about the size of the unit. I asked her about the foot difference in the unit size and she said they have a disclosure that says unit dimensions vary. It's unfortunate that this business runs this kind of business. The unit should reflect that it's a 3'x10' instead of 4'x10'. I'm paying $83 a month for the 3'x10' and had to pay a $25 app fee. Thankfully, it's a month to month. I'm looking at other storage locations. Other places said units may vary an inch or two but not a whole foot. I advise measuring the unit you may rent to make sure it meets your needs since the listed sizes are inaccurate.

They are fully concrete, with wide lanes and plenty of space to get into the units. The rates are very reasonable and a great value for Houston. They are near Bear Creek and Barker Cypress which is Very convenient, and keeps me out of Houston Traffic. You can pay your bill online, or via text. And they will contact you directly if they have any issues. We love West Houston Boat and Rv.
