You'd be better off putting your things in the backyard on pallets obtained from behind a box store with a tarp tied over the top. I'd give it ZERO Stars if that were an option.

There is no manager on site. The elevator has been down for weeks. Their customer service is awful. And there are rodents and bats and roaches everywhere. I just want to be reimbursed for my expenses and be able to move my items out and be done with this filthy facility! My husband and I have a unit at your Crabb River Road, Richmond, TX location. We are on the 4th floor of the climate controlled building and have a 10x20 unit. We have been trying to move our stuff out of the unit because we are moving and need to put our furniture in there when we move next week. We have been going for the last 2+ weeks and the elevator continues to be out of service. There is no one on site to assist us or answer any questions. We have come down to the wire and rented a truck yesterday. Showed up to the facility and still no service on the elevator. It is 100 degrees here in TX. My husband and I tried to make as many trips as we could up and down the 4 flights of stairs but could only do so much as the heavy items are impossible and the heat was unbearable. We called and were on the phone for almost an hour with your customer service and got zero help. I have been unable to move out of my unit now for several weeks and now will be going into July and have to pay another months rent due to the inaccessibility of my unit. Not only that, I am not out the money for the rental moving van from yesterday that I couldn't load, and now have to go rent an additional unit for my furniture items I need stored as of July when I have to be out of my house. This is over $1000 in expenses I have incurred due to your inability to maintain your facility. Please call my husband or myself and let us know how this will be remedied. Not to mention I saw several large rats entering 1st floor units and a bat at the entrance to my unit. This is disgusting snd extremely poor management for a unit I pay $260 a month for.

I've used this storage facility for almost 4 years. I had a huge RAT enter my unit and destroyed a…read morelot of my items that I had to throw out and I did not receive any compensation for. Then they had an incident where they "accidentally" turned on their fire sprinklers and water flooded my entire unit. I had to throw out half of the items in my unit. I lost a lot. Things that had personal sentimental value to me. All I could do was cry. They had no sympathy or apologies for it. All they did was try to sell me on a new unit. My unit was also broken into and items of mine were STOLEN. They have NO cameras within the facility showing who comes in and out of the units. Their manager Michael told me the unit right next to mine was open for auction people (non tenants) that he said were being freely let into the facility throughout the day over a numerous amount of days, which happened to be during the exact time frame of the theft happening. These people had an access code supplied to them by the facility to come and go into the facility as they pleased, and they clearly had tools with them to freely be able to break into my locked unit and rob my unit. Their manager Michael offered NO apology, sympathy or compensation. They REFUSE to take any responsibility for the breaking and entering and theft of my locked unit that happened while under THEIR watch. They offer NO security. Their security cameras don't seem to be working as I have asked numerous times for the video surveillance to be looked at and I was given excuses as to why they couldn't check them. Then I was informed by them that they only have cameras in the elevators and nowhere else. This place is TRASH. They are completely overpriced. They don't secure your items or unit. Their sliding doors were always broken and most times they wouldn't even open for you to enter the facility, until they decided to just remove the doors all together instead of fixing them. The facility is not cleaned or well-maintained. One of their gates to enter the facility is broken and they won't fix it. Don't go here unless you want to have all of your items and valuables DESTROYED and STOLEN.
