It went to 300 dollars a month for about a year with no other options given. We used a tiny space of the unit but that didn't matter to them. They didn't negotiate any other options, toys remained in the until maybe worth 300 when we were charged 300 for a year month after month. I would never give them business or recommend business again. What started out as a compassionate business quickly gave us the cold shoulder. Just sad.

I've had one unit at this location for over 10 years, another for about eight. Until Cubesmart…read moretook over, I never had any problems. They did come in and re-do the place and it looks better. In the process, however, they didn't cover anything in my unit resulting in a quarter inch layer of crud over EVERYTHING. I had a big go 'round with them early on about paying with one check for two units. They never could figure out how to apply one check to two units and then wanted to charge me late fees because they couldn't figure it out. Of course, they would call just hours before they closed to let me know -- the following day being past the grace period. Worse, they lied about it and said they had called me earlier in the week. All calls to my phone are documented as to time and date. I have documented proof they did not. I guess I asked them to combine the units in one account so that they wouldn't screw it up anymore. Recently, they hiked my rates again (yearly, always) and I guess I overlooked the notice (my bad). I sent enough to cover one unit but was short on the other due to the hike. They called me and explained and said they would apply payment to one unit and crediti the other. I went in to pay the remainder and was charged late fees on BOTH units. Why? Because the units WERE COMBINED IN ONE ACCOUNT. The same person that had previously told me they would apply my payment to one of the units tells me this. I doubt I will be able to move out of there anytime soon because of Harvey. The minute I can, I'm outta there.
