One I got in, I was slightly overwhelmed by the sheer number of boxes ALL over. However, the clerk showed me their boxes' showcases which helped me decide which boxes I wanted. My experience at this place wasn't great. I needed a specialty box and I called ahead, they told me they had it but when I got there it really was kind of big and then it required a lot of packing material to be snug. Also, it was wasn't really such a great deal. It was kind of expensive for the box and packing. I could've got boxes just as cheap at the Home Depot that's nearby. When I thought about going there I imagined that I would be helped by a happy chubby middle-aged guy but instead I was met by a wiry young guy that was rather rude and really was only interested in moving as many boxes as possible. He wouldn't let me box my item inside and I had to do it outside in the heat. Actually, it is a ridiculously small space. The only good thing was that I did get my item packaged as I was pressed for time. read more

1/2 Price Boxes was indispensable for our move out of a large 3 bedroom house! When we mosied over after a full lunch at Boudreaux's next door, we didn't expect the the great prices of everything we needed to move. We went back each time we needed boxes. We packed half of the boxes (a filled 80 boxes) and hired a packing crew when we saw that we were not going to finish on time (light 70 boxes half full of wrapping paper). We bought our own boxes which were cheaper then that of the packing crew's and happily saved money! 1/2 Price Boxes hads 12 small cardboard boxes for $25. The guy there was always helpful and friendly. He always helped bring out the boxes into the trunk. He gave good advices. In the end, buy conservatively if your uncertain how many boxes you'll need. You'll be back if you need more! Definitely would go back on our next move- hopefully, beyond 10 years please! read more
