She tried to charge me $1.50 to tape my box and kept claiming it was in the return instructions yadda yadda yadda. Well, considering I'm in no rush to return the package and I pass by the location multiple times a day, and I can't justify paying $1.50 for some tape... I decided to ask her nicely to PLEASE tape my box, just a little bit of tape, pretty please pretty PRETTY please and she refused! Not even a nice refusal, kinda an F OFF you aren't worthy of me taping your box refusal and kept telling me how "It's in the instructions, it's in the instructions, it's in the instructions..." Well.... Let me tell you, when I got back to my office, I looked at the instructions, and it is NOT! in the instructions!!!! I can't wait to go back with my taped-up box and ask her to show me where in the instructions it shows that. She had the huge roller of mailing tape right there... I swear some of the people that work at these places just want to make other people miserable. Honestly, this interaction makes me not want to use this UPS Store for other matters.

As I was explaining the details, the girl cuts me off and asks for the tracking number. (Lacks Professionalism) She said that the tracking number wasn't showing in her system. I inquired about other Pak & Ship locations within her vicinity. She said that there was one down the street. She gave me the number. The number was to FedEx and not to another PAK & Ship store. It is a very good thing that I do not live in Texas. A report would have been sent to the State Attorney General. From reviewing other complaints, it appears that this location lacks efficiently.

I've dropped off a few packages here since it's close to work, and I can easily go here during my…read morelunch break. I typically have my package ready and all I need is my return QR code to be scanned for them to print a label. There's also a bin in the open area to drop off packages if you've pre-printed a label. The wait usually is just 2-3 minutes or less waiting in line. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, and they always ask if I want a receipt. The worst part is the small parking lot that it shares with a CBD store, Subway, a Thai massage place and some other little stores. There's angled parking at the front which is half dirt or sand and a few on each side. The parking behind it is usually for the other stores. It's very tight to get in and out if others are coming and going from the Antoine side entrance because it's the closest to the traffic light where most people need to be. The other side of the freeway is IKEA. Despite all that, I'd still come here to drop packages for convenience.

Although, PO Box Etc is my preferred address for all online orders. My recent experiences with unannounced closing (not on Islamic and American holidays) have gotten me looking for a mailbox service near my house in Chinatown. However, I had terrible experiences at My Shipping Office, a mailbox service in Chinatown. That gave me a good reason to stay at PO Box Etc for another 6 months, while I search for another mailbox service near my house. Yes. I'm staying and not going anywhere.
