My favorite UPS store. Staff is kind, speedy, and trustworthy. Shipping is expensive but there's nothing they can do about that.

If there were a no star option, I would give it. They cheated me out of $40. I was clearly told my document would arrive on Tuesday by 10. They REALLY meant Wednesday, which was way too late. I called and requested a refund but was told too bad so sad. They are not to blame just because it was a Wednesday arrival and I was promised Tuesday. read more

I had only one customer in front of me, yet waited in line for over 25 minutes because the two employees at the counter (one of them named Alex) were slower than SLOW. In fact, a line of more than 14 people formed behind me. Ridiculous. When the lady in front of me was called to the counter to be assisted, she just had a package with a coat that she wanted to return to Amazon, but she had not even submitted the request to return it in her account, and therefore did not have a QR code for the employee to scan and initiate the return. So the clerk proceeds to spend 10 minutes helping this lady access her Amazon account (she was having "password issues") and find the item within her orders in the app, only to find out that this item could not be returned through UPS. I totally understand the clerk's intentions trying to be helpful to this customer, but to take all the time in the world as if there were no other customers just seems inefficient to me. I'm giving two stars instead of one because when it was finally my turn, they scanned my QR code, took my item to send to amazon, and gave me a receipt, ALL in less than a minute. read more

Poor mailbox service. Do not get a mailbox here, use the post office instead. They terminated my mailbox without notice. I posted a review on Google and it took them 7 months to respond to the review. They obviously don't care about loyal customers or other businesses. read more

Convenient to the casa, this is the location I use for all of my shipping needs. This store is always busy but the employees keep everything running pretty quickly. They rent out mail boxes, have an assortment of cards & shipping items. Store is very clean, ample parking & efficient employees. read more

Poor system at 4pm with customers exiting we entered the store and were informed they were closed.Customers were inside getting help.The clerk said no transactions can be done because the register is closed.The other employee was conducting business with a customer.I asked for the manager's name and was informed "Jacob" is the manager.He was not there.The other clerk stated to me I only got in because a customer was leaving.Say again?Neither clerk cared about helping a customer.I will contact every media site I kind about this bad experience.I will call UPS Corporate and make them aware too. read more

Ellen and Matias were SO helpful last night!!! My Dad and I were rushing to get a few packages on the UPS truck before it pulled away at 6:15. Avoid this location. The staff are rude, deceptive, and charge a dollar for using one measly strip of packing tape in their lobby. If you don't want people to use the tape, then don't leave it on the counter in the lobby or at least have a sign stating that there will be a charge for any small piece of tape you use. Also, don't lie about the charges - the cashier I was working with tried to tell me the other rude girl who came over and started typing something into the register was giving a discount when I asked what that was about, and then she hands me the receipt with an extra dollar charge added for the tape. Why lie and why be rude about it? Completely unnecessary. read more

The actual transaction and process of my situation was fine, the biggest issue came for my letter ARRIVING at its destination. My first month's rent required a mail-in money order due before the 1st day of August. So naturally, I went to HEB, got a money order, filled in all of the information, and sent it off using this UPS store. A week and a half later, my letter with the money order has STILL not arrived. I call the UPS store with my receipt, just trying to TRACK it, and they told me they couldn't. Despite the fact that there are tracking and retrieval numbers on the receipt, they claimed they're not responsible for it. So now I have basically lost $1,000 because of UPS and their bs system. Consistently great service from Jake the the team at the UPS Store on Kingsride! I've been a client since we moved to the area in 2017, and seem to have a reason to stop in a couple times a month. Whether when quickly dropping off my Nespresso pods or in need of more personalized attention, they always help me efficiently and with a smile. Jake's service today was over-the-top fantastic and prompted me to share my experience. While packing up my shipment, I mentioned that I'd need to write a reference number on the outside of the box. We got to talking, updating my profile and next thing you know, I totally forgot about writing that number on my shipment. Before I got more than a mile down the road, Jake called me on my number on file to make sure we added that detail. The fact that the manager of a busy store would remember what was my responsibility, and go out of his way to ensure that my package made it to its destination with the appropriate info, blew me away! (It also probably saved me a week+ of potential delays while my recipient looked up my info and got my package to the right department) Thank you, Jake, for your five-star service and for managing the team to consistently take care of my needs, even when I'm not exactly on top of them! read more

Awesome store. The leader at the store was very detailed and helpful. It appeared he was training a new staff member. Not only was he helpful to me but he showed that he cared for the staff member as he answered his questions and helped him in a very respectful manner. He was patient and answered my questions also, and even taped my package. I am not sure how he did it, but I got an email confirmation when my package was delivered. I went to another UPS and sent a package, paid same price, but did not get the email confirmation. Overall, it was clear the gentleman that runs the store at Kingsride Lane is on top of his business. I have not experienced such service before at a UPS store. I'm going to have to give credit to the two hard working employees that were working today. I came to fax something that for some odd reason couldn't be done at Office Depot down the street. I was flustered, aggravative from my earlier experience and an hour had already passed trying to fax 2 pieces of paper to another Office Depot. Any how, the nice employees were so helpful and kind and tried to suggest different ways to accomplish my task since the fax machine was giving me such a headache today. Their store was non stop busy but they still greeting every person with a smile and even knew some of their customers by name. 9/17/19 Today I visited this location to return two AMAZON purchases - both of which were books. Per the AMAZON return instructions, "no box or label needed" & the cost was $0.00. Win! Matias greeted me upon approaching the counter. I showed him my AMAZON refund instructions indicating "no box or label needed" at their location. I handed him my phone to peruse the instructions himself. He then tells me he has to print the label ($2 charge). "What? It says 'no box or label needed.'" I reply. He tells me AMAZON is wrong. While he is selecting a package for me to return the first book (at additional charge, of course), I peruse the return instructions myself for the second book. Again it states "no box or label needed" an associate simply needs to scan the QR code. I advise Matias of this & he does so for the second book. "Let's try that procedure for the first book as well," I suggest. And it worked! I then direct my attention towards Matias and ask him if he knew I could've have processed the return that way with "no box or label needed," but instead chose to mislead me in effort to profit from the return. Matias tells me there are 3 different ways to process AMAZON returns. Yes, and yet he chose not to process the one I wanted. I told him I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with his handling of the return & would be notifying AMAZON of my less than favorable experience. Another associate attempted to "explain" the process & I told him, "No, that is not what went down."The experience left a bad taste in my mouth. AMAZON has been notified of this negative experience; I wouldn't want their reputation to be affected by this store. You might consider other options. read more

Staff is friendly and efficient. I am always in and out within minutes. I have only ever returned packages to amazon here so my experiences are kind of limited, but I have only had positive experiences here. This is my go to UPS store mostly because it's very convenient and staff is helpful so I haven't found a reason to go to another UPS store. read more
