New in town and didn't know the area. Called and the gentleman stayed on the phone with me to guide me to location. I was quoted $14 to mail a simple letter with tracking. When I said that was insane, a cheaper option suddenly came up for $7. Went to the post office and paid $3. I get being in business and all but they were trying to price gouge. They lady on duty was snooty and rude as well. Consumer beware. read more

Awful. The Indian woman told us that our Canada Christmas cards would take 3-4 weeks to get there. Only way to get by Christmas was $53 per card! We did not believe her and left. Got everything shipped at USPO faster, cheaper, and on time We won't be back. Watch your wallet!! read more

Took a consent form to be notarized , Indian woman who had a small child working refused for no reason. Will be giving poor reviews on every possible sure possible. Go down the street to UPS where you will be treated with respect as a customer. read more

The member of the staff I dealt with here last week was incredibly rude. Instead of simply denying service for notary she told me I was lying about the document and wouldn't notarize the document. Fine by me, but accusations weren't necessary. I went down the street to UPS and got my document notarized no problem, and for $3 less than this place charges. Won't be coming back. read more

I really like this place & use this facility a lot, but I have been in there several times in the last few weeks and the girl working the desk is never wearing a mask. I really think she should be wearing a mask to protect the older people that are trying to use your business. Please take wearing masks seriously. If she is not wearing a mask, than I am hesitant to keep using your business because she is probably not sanitizing either. Thank God for having the Memorial Postal Center so convenient. If I'm in a hurry all I have to do is just run in, do my business and I'm off. While I'll admit they are a bit more expensive than going to the U.S. Post Office ...hey, it falls under the umbrella of price of doing business, and/or the price you pay for convenience. My approach to finding reasonable rates for mailing out packages is by asking first for "cheapest, fastest" rates for whatever I need to mail out. Since they offer various options I choose which option I want to pursue or whether I go to the U.S. Post Office. The place is always clean, and the lady that runs the place is fast, friendly, helpful and very cordial. She often greets you with a nice smile, unlike other places of business. I think you'll enjoy visiting this postal center. read more

My son was trying to send a usps small size flat box and was charged $16.00 versus $7.15 at USPS. Unfortunately, my son thought it was the same government office and rate is uniform. We return to the store to try to get a refund and was met with hostility. The staffs at Memorial Postal Center refused to retrieve the small box and refund the money. This is daylight robbery and whilst I understand that there would be a service fee, to charge that rate of $16.00 is exorbitant. I went in to mail a package & send out two pre-labeled packages. The first item only weighed a couple ounces, but the woman told me the best price would be close to $6.00. I declined & decided to send it w/USPS. I left her two packages w/prepaid labels and didn't collect a receipt because I was in a hurry. The first package was delivered, but another package mysteriously went missing. I called the company to ask if they could look into it and make sure the package wasn't misplaced. The woman I spoke with was not friendly and just blamed UPS. UPS said it was the drop-off location. I've never had a problem with UPS, and I wouldn't ever do business with this company again. read more

Just beware that there is a 50% up charge on any USPS mailing service and a 25% markup on stamps. I acknowledge that is their pricing but they do not tell you and do not give a receipt unless you ask so you will never know. read more

If I can give zero I would. They overcharge so much it's ridiculous! $95 to ship two packages (15 pounds altogether) priority mail. They charge a service and changed my shipping boxes then proceeded to charge me $16 for them....Went to USPS both packages were $30. I had been and have been giving my business to this place, know very well previous owner but not so very well the current one. even though let me tell you honestly that the current owner knows business very well then the previous one for sure! As far as the price is concern you need to understand that they do not control the price as the price has been controlled by the service providers may it be FedEx, UPS, DHL or USPS - I had a big concern about the same matter and I asked upfront about the same to Indian lady on register and she made me explain everything with great patience, the previous owner had not updated the POS software update whenever it required and so the price changes never enforced to customer in times and we all were happy but it was a big loss to previous owner, while this new owner they keep everything up to date so you would find the price is more but in actual it is not truth; if you go and compare with same kind of store near by then you would see their mark up is quite reasonable and after all you need to understand they are not USPS or UPS they are service provider and they do business to make money!!!! Second thing about their customer service, it is much better than other places around if you want to try then just try by your self, go and do any certified or priority mail at this place and do the same at any other place like this near by (not post office) you will feel the difference if you know what is customer service - Hats off to them! you can save lot of your time at the cost of some bucks. About charging for Tape - we need to understand there is nothing free in this world, I am paying for Taping with happy face and that always cut short the time I am standing in line behind someone who comes just to drop off without taping and trying get a free service. when previous owner was there I had to wait for a long time as they did not charge for this service and people like me had to just wait for nothing and above all I am sure they had to loose lot of time and money specially during crowded hours. Ya occasionally they do make mistakes but we have to understand they are after all human beings " To err is human and to forgive is divine" but they do correct their mistakes by offering very good customer services! well I am very happy with this place and I am sure those who are looking for quality will agree with me! read more
