I reached out to Heights River Oaks Houston Locksmith because I was interested in locksmith…read moreservices and expected a straightforward process. Unfortunately, the customer service was a dealbreaker. From the start, the lash that answered the call did not appear to want to help. I gave her my problem and she said ok, she could have someone out in 40 minutes but I had to pay for it now. Paying for it upfront prior to anyone showing is not common. I have used multiple different locksmiths for all my offices throughout Texas in the years and never once have they insisted on this. When I wasn't comfortable with it she said it was because they couldn't take payment on site. I told her I would pay the moment the locksmith stepped foot on my property by phone. Then somehow, miraculously, she was able to take half now then half when he showed up (even though she had just said she couldn't take payment on site). She then continued to yell (yes, she was already yelling at this point) at me when I said I would just leave my experience with their customer service for others. If you want to hear it I'm sure she could give you the recording as she said it was recorded and she would sue me if I left a bad experience review. In the end, I obviously decided not to proceed and went with another company that was responsive, honest, and respectful. Sharing this in case others value being treated fairly and respectfully as much as I do.
