Great service but you do have to wait for them to get to your stuff as they are always slammed.

I told the employee what I needed, and he walked out to my truck, pressed a couple of buttons and clicked the remote, and handed me a new remote to my truck!!

This has got to be one of the worst run businesses I've ever experienced!!! If I could give ZERO…read morestars, I would! PLEASE do not waste your time dealing with these extremely unprofessional people and please don't waste your hard earned money here either!!! I came in a week ago to simply get a copy of my car key cut to the new remote, which I had just bought elsewhere. The guy who cut the key charged me $50 for the new car key. I paid it and walked to my car to try it, but it didn't work to turn the ignition. I went back inside to tell him and he came out to try it himself, but it still did not work. He went back in to "re-cut" it, tried it again, and again after that, but it never did work. He told me that he would just put my old working key on my new remote and get me on my way. He did that AND KEPT THE FAULTY KEY. I asked for a refund for the key that he cut, which didn't work, and therefore could not be used, SO HE KEPT IT. He told me that he wasn't authorized to give refunds, but that I could come back any other day and that the manager would be able to help me with that. So I came in today, with my 2-month-old daughter in hand, for what I thought would be a quick and easy refund exchange, but instead was met with the MOST hassle that I have ever had to deal with from ANY business in order to get my money back. I walked in and explained my situation to the owner/manager and he straight up told me, "No, you don't get a refund for that. He went through the trouble to cut the key for you, didn't he?" I explained again that the key, which is what I paid for, didn't work, and ultimately WAS NOT GIVEN TO ME, so I would like my money back for that. He had the audacity to deny my refund, claiming that they did me a favor by swapping MY old key into MY remote. As if that's what I paid $50 for! He called the guy who originally cut the key and asked him about it. I'm not sure what the guy told him over the phone, but the owner laughed and said "No, I'm not doing that. I'll take care of it" Then he walked me outside and tried to tell me how I wouldn't be getting a refund for the key because the guy did me a favor by swapping my old key into my remote! I told him that I did not ask him to do that, nor is that what I paid $50 for, and THEY kept the faulty key! He told me it was still time spent and at best he could give me "half of my money back". HALF! As if that is an acceptable resolution for selling me defective product that I never received. I told him, no, that I wanted my full refund for the key I paid for that didn't work and I never received. I told him all the guy did for me was swap MY original key onto MY new remote, which I could've done myself. To that he said "Well, why didn't you?" I told him because he offered and didn't say anything about charging me, because if he had, I would've told him no. He told me "Half. Take it or leave it." I told him that I'm not leaving without my money back, and to that he told me, "Well, how about, just to get your ass outta here, I just take the key off, give you your money back, and you can put it on yourself!" I immediately told him to do it because I'm not paying $25 for anything that I can easily do myself and IS NOT what I was charged for in the first place. This whole exchange took place outside, in the cold, for about 30 minutes, while I was holding my two-month-old daughter in my arms, wrapped in a blanket, and this unprofessional, rude, and heartless manager couldn't care less about her wellbeing or helping me resolve the situation, when HIS BUSINESS was holding onto money I was charged for faulty merchandise that was ultimately not even given to me. I honestly can't believe that a business can operate with such blatant disregard for its customers, but I truly hope that this establishment doesn't last much longer, so they can't continue to scam, intimidate, or mistreat other people in the surrounding community. This place is a disgrace!

I lost my keys out of town (dummy) and had been calling around 20+ locksmiths. Most places I called seemed to channel to a few call centers that would dispatch a technician. After getting the same call centers and the same technicians I was feeling like my choices were limited. Not to mention I could not get a set price from them. I would speak to one and get a price range with an up to $100 difference "depending on my system." It didn't sit right with me that they could determine the price once they got there, felt like bait and switch. I called a few more places some didn't do key fobs, but one did and referred Joseph. Speaking with Joseph immediately I felt knowledgeable and trustworthy coming through the phone. No fluctuating price to be determined once completing my vehicle. Not having to speak yo 2-3 people before speaking with the tech. A set price and speaking with the owner from the beginning, plus a year warranty on the key fob. Some things you just don't try to save a couple bucks...peace of mind and good service. With Safeco, Joseph, you can skip the headache and get what you need done right and fair.

Everyone else in the company is good. Boss's boss yells at me on the phone about needing access to an electronics control cabinet. "Make me 10 copies of that key!" I was tempted to tell him that it's real easy to pick that lock. I keep my mouth shut as to not look like a criminal. It's a thin, short key. Ace Hardware can't do it. "Too small. Tricky." Home Depot can't do it. An older, wiser employee explains to me that the modern machines cannot accurately cut such a key. I go back to my truck super stressed. The clock is ticking. I Google locksmith businesses in the area. The first several don't have a brick and mortar store. They all drive around town in trucks. I find Robbie's Lock & Key (an actual storefront) just 4 miles away. A really nice, intelligent guy answered the phone. I make a B-line to their shop. A solid, professional gentleman greets me at the counter. I show him the key. He says it will be tricky, but he will try. Old school machines (maybe 50 years old). Hell yeah! My kind of shop!!!! He cuts and grinds a new copy, smiles, "yeah, this will work. How many you need?" "Sir, I need 10. My boss wants 10 copies. Make that 20. 20 keys please sir." All 20 key copies were perfect. I got back to the office (everyone was gone). I piled the new 20 keys on el jefe's desk like the dragon Smaug in The Hobbit looking at his vast gold treasure. On a post-it note I wrote, "Here you go a$$hole. Shut the fvck up b----". I thought better of it and grabbed the note and put it in my pocket.
