I thought I could call the office discuss this with his Manager, because I have used a company by the name Cypress Locksmith name several years ago. When I called the phone number on the website (not Google), the person that answered the phone refused to give me an email or name of a manager so I could send a copy of the bill and an explanation of what happened. She finally admitted that this was just a call center and there is never a Manager in the office. I requested a call back from a Manager, but no one called. I looked up the address listed on their website (14128 Cypress Rosehill) and that is the address for a completely different, unrelated business that has been there for many years. Google does not find this name as a legitimate company name and the BBB was no help either. If you are looking for a call center, call them but the address they advertise is not an address for Cypress Locksmith. There does not appear to be any company that has a compay name of Cypress Locksmith.

I researched two places, and though A2Z quoted me higher than the other guy, the owner was a lot more communicative in explaining my options, the process, best-case/worst-case scenario. William was sent over to assist me, and I highly highly *highly* recommend his services. This single dad of three calls himself "the only long-haired, red-headed, big Irish locksmith in Houston." He's probably right. My situation was a sticky one: one sided-lock, second-floor of an apartment. After trying a few inexpensive options with no success, he finally suggested a different tactic, and it worked! Hallelujah. When writing out my check, I noticed his van had a different company name from A2Z, so I asked for his personal business card in case Tex ever felt the need to kick me out again. Unfortch, he wouldn't provide me with it; apparently, William has so much respect and loyalty to A2Z which contracts him out and doesn't want to steal any of their clients. How thoughtful of you, William. Other things to know: They're available 24-hours in Houston, Katy, Woodlands, Cy-Fair, Tomball, Klein, Sugar Land and other NW Houston areas. Better late than never.... I want everyone to know that this gentleman is an amazing business man. A couple of months ago, my vehicle broke down on me after I had just lost my place to live and I was stranded in a parking lot, homeless, no money, no place to go, no friends or family to help. I had already spent everything I had trying to figure out what was wrong with it, on top of another $100 for a transponder key because another person out of many that looked at it, suspected that was the issue. I reached out on Yelp for anyone to help me, I was willing to pay but didn't have much. Well this gentleman contacted me and said he would come over and help me out. Little did I know he did not live close and took the time to drive all the way over to me. Unfortunately, it turned out it wasn't the key but he did what he could to help and trouble shoot any issues he could while he was there, even making a possible determination that it could be my PCM. He was even so kind enough to offer if I didn't find one programmed to my vehicle already he would again return and help me. When I asked him what he was going to charge me for all his help, he responded that he would not be charging me anything at all. I was so amazed and truly greatful that people like this man still exist in todays world. If you are in need of this type of service I very strongly recommend this gentleman because not only did he do a great job trying he has the most amazing kindness I've seen in a long time. I have placed Ruslan in my contacts for safe keeping! He and his company are top-notch! Lost my key to my car and he set the appt, stayed in touch prior to coming and came sooner than I thought. Plus, his prices were reasonable, something we are not seeing a lot of lately in many situations due to people taking unfair advantage during COVID-19. I called 2 'national' locksmith companies that work in the Cypress area. Their prices were sky high and service was slow. Oh-em-gee!! This guy was ah-mazing. It was very frustrating when the only fob we had was flushed down a toilet by our 3 year old son. I found car key guy on yelp and definitely made a right choice by calling this company. Ruslan came out within an hour and made a new fob in less than 30 min. The work was done very fast and professionally. Ruslan actually came to help me with my key fob for the car. While he was here, he helped repair our front door knob/lock, though he was not here for that. My husband is disabled and I was made without a repair chip, so the front door has been precarious, at best, for a month or more. Helped me out of a accidental bind! The keys I had cut didn't have the correct circuit board so it couldn't be programmed. Thankfully he had a spare toyota key that worked so for a fair price he sold me the circuit board and we swapped them to my newly cut keys so they could work. I was happy about that because my front door was not secure and I was about to go out of town for an extended period of time. The lockset on my narrow stile door is not a garden variety lock and has many variations and nuances. The locksmith was puzzled from the get-go and when I offered some advice, he welcomed my input. I am technically capable and had worked on the lockset before. Regrettably, he did not follow my guidance on how to complete one of the tasks in the reassembly process and as a consequence, one tiny screw could not be installed. The holes were slightly misaligned. So he just left it out. The lock worked and was safe, but the cover plate would bind on the jam. To his credit, he told me about it and gave me the screw. After he left, I disassembled the lock to the point of being able to make the adjustments necessary so that the screw could be installed and then reassembled everything. The main plus was that he came out right away and brought the replacement lock components that I could not obtain locally and got my lock functional within hours. Had I been able to buy the part myself I would have done the work myself. I'm pleased with everything, even considering that I had to redo some of it. I think it is unreasonable to expect any particular locksmith to know the nuances of every possible lock, especially unusual / exotic ones, so I'm OK with it and will call Howard again if I find myself in a bind.
