I lost the smart key for my car and called around everywhere asking for a price quotes. The dealership quoted me $400 because my car is push start! Crazy. I was lucky enough to find this place and was quoted less than half the price. The technician was there in 30 mins- got in my car and programmed a new fob in less than 10 minutes. I was nervous because sometimes these types of places like to add surprise charges at the end but nope, I paid the amount I was quoted on the phone. Definitely recommending this place to others. read more

I had my BCM replaced and called SL&D to program the new one($250). Igor showed up and worked to get it about 95% completed. He was very patient and respectful as the programming took a couple of hours. During the process, he did inform me that he had issues saving my VIN to the BCM, but was eventually successful. The problem that I am having is the airbag light will not go off. I had a third party use a dealership scanner and found the VIN was never saved to the BCM which is why the light won't clear. I have been attempting to contact the business via calls, voicemails, and texts, to get it resolved with no positive movement. It has been over a month and this is not acceptable. If this gets resolved soon, I will update my rating; if not, I will have to lower it. read more

I don't recommend. Not professional. Technician opened the door but door was broken. He used power instead technique to unlock the door. I sent the picture of door broken but no reply. Be careful you may need to replace the door after unlock service. read more

Called to get a quote on a peephole installation for a larger peephole. First of all, the person on the other line answered hello instead of announcing the name of the business. I wasn't sure I had the correct number. I then proceeded to confirm the company name and then asked if they install the type of peephole that I have and what would be the cost. I provided my zip code and was quoted what I THOUGHT was a fair price. Before I could ask when was the soonest that a tech could come out, I was hung up on. Huh! Well, I'm sorry if I disturbed you. Thanks to you, I found another company that quoted me $120 less than what you did. read more

Yesterday 2/18/2019 I called Sky Lock & Doors for an issue I'm having with my truck. I explained to them that my battery was disconnected for a long period and my truck's computer was no longer recognizing my key. I told them that I needed a locksmith to come out and reprogram my truck's computer to accept they key. They told me that they understood the issue and could reprogram the computer. They took my car/address information, quoted me $80, and told me the locksmith would call me in a few minutes. A few minutes later I got a call from the locksmith. He confirmed my address and I again explained the situation. He told me he was on the way and about an hour later the locksmith showed up. He connected his device to the truck and after 10 minutes told me the truck's computer was no communicating with the key. I tried to explain again that is the reason I called Sky Lock & Door, and before he arrived on the phone, told him that the issue was the truck's computer was not recognizing the key. However, he didn't speak very much English. All he could really tell me was "The computer isn't communicate", and that I owed him $30+ for coming out. After paying him I called Sky Lock & Doors and had a few complaints for the person who sent the locksmith (which I will list below). They took my information down and told me their manager would call me right back. I never heard from them after that. I ended up calling another locksmith company and resolved the issue. The complaints I have are: 1. I explained the situation twice, once to the representative at Sky Lock & Doors and again to the locksmith before he arrived. Both said they could resolve it for $80. (in all fairness the locksmith might not have understood completely). My problem is not fixed and I paid $30, I don't understand why the would send a locksmith to fix an issue they didn't know how to fix. 2. I was quoted $80 to fix the problem. Neither the Sky Locks & Doors or the locksmith mentioned a $30 charge if they did not fix the problem. 3. The locksmith spent 10 minutes (he called me when he arrived and I checked the time when he left) working on the issue. All he could tell me was "the computer is not communicate". This is the issue I explained over the phone and the one I was asking them to resolve. 4. The manager for Sky Lock & Doors never called me back to offer an explanation. I'm not sure if the problem is with the Sky Lock & Door associate who did not check to make sure the locksmith could resolve the issue. Or if the problem is with the locksmith who should have known how to resolve the issue. In any case I'm out the $30 and had to call another company and finally got the issue fixed. read more

Excellent service. If you ever need a locksmith choose Sky Lock&Doors. Very fair with pricing, fast. I thought they were coming out on Saturday, because it really wasn't an emergency. I called, got a price quote... a good quote. When he got here he did what he was supposed to do ,and priced for what he did. No up pricing, fair and courtesy. Thank you. read more

I can't say enough about the awesome service I received today! I found myself stranded with a toddler and needed immediate assistance with my vehicle locks. Please don't waste your time and hard earned money with this company. The supervisor didn't even wanted to listen to me. He was very rude and unprofessional. I regret calling them in the first place. They didn't even give me warranty. So basically I got screwed over. Not even in these difficult times we are facing they don't have a heart. I'm not mad just disappointed. read more

I had a terrible experience. As I was calling around attempting to get quotes for a car key a dispatch representative offered one price and once the mechanic showed up to complete the service he did not follow through with all services. I was told one price for my key fob, however, the mechanic stated the company doesn't even sell those brands and it'd be an additional charge if he were to purchase it almost twice the original amount discussed. As I asked to speak with management I was unable to and the mechanic said himself he was instructed to just leave me there. Customer services was very poor as I did not feel like a valued customer so I decided to spend my money elsewhere. read more
