Called for a broken lock on the door from living door to my garage. From the moment I called until I had a brand new lock installed took just under an hour. Great service, great quality, thanks Marco! Very reasonably priced. Other trades probably wouldn't even show up for this price. read more

Very good service. Marco arrived on time. He was efficient and professional. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again. read more

Excellent service. Tech arrived when promised with all necessary parts/tools. Will definitely use them again.

AWFUL, horrendous experience. They quoted me $35 trip fee. Then once the first technician arrived, he quoted me $300. I told him that's not what I was quoted so he left. They then told me they'd send out another technician for the price I was quoted. He then tried to charge me $400! For two locks to be switched out. I'd already purchased the locks myself. All I needed was installation. When I told him that's not what I was quoted, he left the house without putting the new lock on. I tried to call the company to resolve the issue, and the person answering the phone just kept telling me "one second, one second," and no one would resolve the issue. Now after taking off work to wait for them and waiting over four hours, the locks still haven't been installed. The company has been a nightmare. Now here it is nighttime and they've left me without locks. Run from this company. A waste of money and a HORRIBLE, EXTREMELY STRESSFUL experience. read more

Our call was promptly answered and service scheduled within 45"! Marco was professional and very competently re-keyed the front and back door locks We would definitely call Golden again if the need arises. I felt the cost was reasonable for the amount of work and time the task took Call Golden-you won't be disappointed! read more

OMG NO! Just trying to get a service person too over a week. I finally cancelled. Scheduling is a problem for this business. Appointment times were made and not kept. I spoke to 3 different people with 3 different answers. Finally got another service for the job. read more

Responsive and courteous. They may not be the cheapest, but I feel their locks are better than others, much more secure. I've used them three times now. The last, I had an issue and needed more immediate help on a Saturday, and they were there rather quickly. read more

Some people had tried breaking into my job site. And by 'breaking in', I mean they had keys. Apparently my employers never bothered to replace the locks when they leased the office space, and that was seven years ago. I had asked the assistant to get quotes from several locksmiths I had found on Yelp and one that I'd personally used in the past. Out of about five that she called, Golden Locksmith offered the lowest rate to replace the lock. One locksmith quoted a rate that was about $20 lower but it was only to rekey the old lock. So for that small of a difference, we decided to replace. I believe the technician showed up within a couple hour of them getting the approval to do the job. It took the technician about 20-30 minutes to replace the lock, and then he offered something that would give us a discount, which we accepted. He also gave us five new keys for the lock for everyone that needed one. Now the office has a brand new lock and we couldn't be happier with the Golden Locksmith's service. I would definitely recommended them. read more

I needed him when we were really really in a bind. The moment I sent in the request he called me almost immediately. And even after that went on his way to my house. He met my brother-in-law so because we had already traveled and arrived overseas. My bro was there so that he could retrieve the wedding jacket my husband had to wear while we went to Nigeria. My brother-in-law was going to carry it in his luggage to send it deliver it to my husband. The locksmith took his time, was very patient, and left no damage to our house even though it was very hard to get into the front door. He tried the garage and eventually was able to finagle his way into the back door. Super grateful he answered and even more blessed that all went well and the wedding went on without a hitch! read more

Would definitely recommend Golden Locksmith. Sent the quote request in, they were the first to respond and made themselves available the next morning. Ori arrived and within a few minutes, we had 6 locks rekeyed at one house in Spring and 3 locks rekeyed at another place in Woodlands. Super helpful, easy to work with and great value added in my opinion. Will be using them for all future needs for sure . Thank you @Golden Locksmith/Ori read more

Golden Locksmith was so easy to work with. They were able to come on my schedule and had everything set within 20-30 minutes. I don't have any other experience, but the price felt reasonable to ensure the safety of my home. I also felt that this company was very respectful in their communication and in person while working. I would hire them again. read more

Quick to respond on the phone. Carl was the technician who came out. He was courtesy and friendly. Got 6 keys done quickly. He applied some WD-40 for me since my locks were kinda old and sticky. Great experience overall! read more

They said their technician will contact me back in 5 minutes but they took 45 minutes for someone to contact me. I needed to call them twice to make sure there was someone on the way to help me with lockout. This place is lack of professionalism and charged me $110 just to drill hole on the lock instead of rekeying it read more

Same day service -- called at about 9:30 am. Appointment for noon the same day. Ory @ Golden Locksmith was very prompt and completed the job promptly. He was courteous and professional. We'll certainly ask for him in the future! read more

Quick response. Took care of what I needed in a professional manner. Have a couple of different prices options to work with my budget.

Firstly, the manager is a coward and absolutely refuses to return any calls or messages. I paid $229.00 to have my home unlocked for our dog sitter, when I returned home I found they drilled out the lock (which destroyed it) and no one will even talk to me about any recourse for my damaged property. Brand new locks on a brand new home. They don't actually seem to have employees, they farm their work out to subcontractors and refuse to accept responsibility. read more

The tech canceled our appointment the morning of because he said he could not get in touch with me. During booking, I notified this guy that I will be working the night shift at my job so I will be unreachable until around the appointment time. I reached out 30 min before and he said tough luck and I can Reschedule. I called the office and the lady started off rude and said I never had an appointment. Once she realized she was mistaken and I was able to mention the techs name that conversation went a little better. BUT, find another company. There is no reason for these folks to make you the situation worse with bad service. read more

Requested a re-key service for my new house. Joey indicated they'd have someone out same day . Arrived within the window I said I'd be there and no one showed up. read more

Fast and easy. Responded to me very quick and gave me a quote. Came to me and got my key done in 30 minutes.

I called golden locksmith the other day to get a replacement key fob programmed. They showed up at my house a couple of hours later and had it programmed in about 15 minutes. Fast and friendly service 10/10 would definitely call again read more

We have used Golden Locksmith for our church several times now and they are now the only company we use! Highly recommend! read more

Had an old briefcase, and didn't quite remember the code within seconds he had it opened and fixed for me!

We lost the key to our electrical box and needed a rekey or new lock. Scheduled time 8-10am. When we called for ETA, we were given 30 min at 915am. He didn't show up until 1015. He said the box needed a lock changed. After changing locks and completing work, I went upstairs to see the "missing" key was inside the unlocked box. The locksmith could have told me it was there and just charged for unlocking instead of a new lock for $146. Very frustrated of their untimeliness and dishonesty. Won't be using them again. In response to Joey: As a small business owner myself and knowing the times we are in, I would not try to damage anyone's reputation or business. What would I gain from telling lies? The fact that you would even accuse me of that shows me exactly what type of business you run. The truth: Your tech came in at 1015 (schedule time at 8-10a, so he was ALREADY late). I showed him where to go, he explained he had to change the lock and it couldn't be rekeyed. He changed the lock, come downstairs and I paid him. I did not show him any key nor barely had a conversation with him, as I was downstairs with my two small children and already pissed about his lateness AND NO APOLOGY. Found the key when I went upstairs right (see picture) after he left. So no, you don't know what you're talking about unless you were there. If this is the way you do business, good luck to you. But don't tell lies just to save it. read more

Great same day service at a good price. They kept me apprised of schedule and showed up on time. Very professional!

Johnny has come to my rescue far too many times for me to have been remiss in reviewing him. From rekeying my entire house, to replacing a lock that was worn out, to realigning my door when the weather shifted the locks, he has always been prompt, super responsive, friendly, and reliable. He always works with my schedule and comes by exactly when he says he will. I never thought I'd be the kinda girl who says things like "I've got a guy." But now, anytime somebody asks about a locksmith, I quickly chime in: "I've got a guy!" read more

Tech gave me a 12-2 timeframe. Got this text at 1:30: Sorry I will have to cancel the service thank you very much and have a good day Struck me as pretty unprofessional. Got it done by someone else for 1/2 the quoted cost. Will not be back. *** to response: I work at home and sit right by the front door. Was there between 12 and when this text arrived. No one came by. No one knocked on the door. No one called. No one texted until the above arrived. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this was a misunderstanding and you had the wrong address. read more

I'm no stranger to locksmiths. The first time I was locked out of my vehicle, that locksmith gave me ambiguous estimates over the phone, came hours late, and charged me nearly double the "estimate" for a key that barely worked. This time, I lost my keys, and in a panic, I found and scheduled first local locksmith I could find that promised "fantastic service", "not like other locksmiths" and "Guaranteed to be a repeat customer!" on their website. However, when I called them over the phone, I saw the familiar picture and already knew how it was going to go down. After digging deeper through Yelp, BBB, etc., I found they had a lot of complaints. I was able to find Golden Locksmith and cancelled that previous appointment. With no expectations, I called them over the phone, scheduled the appointment during business hours, gave them details and asked for a quote (which I actually got). The next day, Nico came, was extremely patient as I couldn't get my apartment garage door open for a while, and he made my key. Nico also wore a face mask, was professional and super chill. Had my key made for the exact quote over the phone. All in all, I understand that locks might vary depending on the specific configuration, etc. However, I can truly respect a locksmith business that is transparent in the pricing, and doesn't take advantage of people who are in a bad situation. read more

My house needed the locks changed because because someone had broken in or used a key to enter my home without permission. I was afraid to stay in my house until the locks were changed. The tech came over the very night I called and fixed the locks at 9 pm. I wish I knew the tech's name who performed the service because he was super efficient and genuinely concerned for my safety. He checked my windows and made sure my locks were changed and operable before he left. Excellent service! Highly recommend. read more

I called this business to get a quote on a lock change. The lady asked me for my address so i gave it to her. She began to read my address back and got it all wrong. So i told her no that is not the address I gave her and began to slowly tell her my address again she stops me mid sentence and says she feels like I am getting an attitude with her there was no tone in my voice So i politely said to her no that is okay and moved on to a different vendor. So Karen i guess she is a manager called me and apologized for my initial interaction overall they had the best price for what i needed a tech was here in less than 30 mins and my locks changed within 20 mins. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing this service read more

Terrible customer service! Called at 5pm yesterday to schedule having two key fobs programmed for our Jeep... answering service said that someone would call me within three minutes! At 5:15pm, after no one reached out to me, I called again... this particular woman said that the answering service was incorrect and should never have told me "three minutes"???? She said that someone would call me as soon as possible? About 15 minutes after that second call, a man called and quoted a price of $145 and he was going to call me before coming out (we agreed to the 9am-10am window)... At 10:10am, I decide to call because I've not received any calls from the locksmith... to my surprise, this woman stated that their policy IS to tell us that someone would call back within "three minutes"? I mentioned having been told two different stories by two different people yesterday? I told her I was upset at the discrepancy and failure to show! I requested a manager or owner to please contact me. Two minutes later, the original locksmith calls me and says he's called three times prior??? I ask If he left a message and he said "no"? I have no record of a missed call? I wasted enough time on this company... they are not reliable or customer friendly... spend your money elsewhere... read more

Picture this: House key breaks inside the door lock. It's raining. No, wait. It's flooding. I use my Yelp app to find and quote area locksmiths, and within minutes I get a call from Golden Locksmith. Johnny immediately heads to my place, gets my key out and the transaction is completed. He also offered to make a copy of my key, but luckily I had extras in the House. Fast. Friendly. Got locked out of my car. I called and gave them my info. They said a locksmith would reach out to me in 5 min and give me estimate and ETA. I waited 20 min. No call. I called again. I was told my case would be reassigned to another locksmith and would receive a call in 5 min. I waited another 20 min. No call. The lady on the phone said she would reach out to the locksmiths to see what the problem was and would call me back in 10 min. I waited 15 and called her. She says the locksmiths were probably really busy, and they could schedule something for tomorrow. I asked for a ballpark estimate and she said there would be a $30 trip fee to get to me plus around $130 to take the key out of my car. Terrible service. I recommend Pop-a-lock.
