Do your hard earned money and mental health a favor and avoid this business like it's the Corona virus. I was charged $55 for the locksmith to disassemble the locking mechanism and extract the lock cylinder. He did not have the necessary hardware to duplicate key so he took the cylinder along with the promise to return with either a new key or complete new cylinder. A few days go by and I get a text stating that he has to order a new cylinder. I asked him how much a new cylinder costs, $80 + $90 labor. This seemed a little high and prompted me to research what Locinox charges for a 46mm replacement cylinder. $6 plus instructions on how to swap out cylinder. Not only that but a brand new, identical lock kit costs $120. NOT TODAY SATAN! NOT TODAY I understand I'm paying for a service but this is price gouging at its finest. I'd hate to see anyone get duped so please heed my cautioning and try a different locksmith. read more

Called them late Nite Hours Home Lockout. Kevin answered, quoted me what I considered was a fair price for After-Hours service, along with a fair arrival time. Within the arrival time, he showed up, to asses the lockout. Due to me having one of those digital keypad deadbolts on all doors, there was no way around destroying the entire keypad mechanism. I completely understood and agreed. He proceeded and did what he had to do, to get old lock out, installed a nice new basic deadbolt, along with new keys, all within about 15 minutes. The technician took over an hour to arrive, after telling me it would be 25 minutes. I was nice about it because I know how traffic could be. He was not willing to discuss the price with me before getting to the house. He moved and talked fast. I had never needed a locksmith before, so I did not realize he was over charging me.
