I called Phil on a Friday afternoon. He was kind and pleasant over the phone. I was helping my parents schedule an appointment to have their door hardware replaced and re-keyed to a master key. Phil gave clear pricing to me on the charges and asked important questions about the hardware they selected -- informing me that some brands don't work with others. This was good information to pass along to my parents in case they needed to make any exchanges at the hardware store prior to his visit. I easily scheduled a next day, Saturday, appointment for them. It was easy to text Phil their address and contact information. On Saturday, Phil texted me and informed me that he was running a little ahead of schedule and could come about an hour or so early. My parents mentioned that he was respectful, courteous and a professional. I was told he wore his ID and explained all the work that he did. They said his work quality was excellent and that they we were happy with the results. Additionally, they said his pricing was fair. for three doors/knobs/re-keys. Lost one of the keys to the house on Friday and the wife was anxious as we were leaving to go out of town the following Monday. Great guys I called them told them I had a broken key stuck in my ignition so they told me to swing by and see what they can do so I head that way and at first they said they couldn't do it then he told me give me a second and called one of his veteran key guys in and he pulled out the broken key by taking the whole ignition apart and they made me a brand new key and put everything back together like it wasn't even taken apart I would use these guys again in a heartbeat if I need any keys made of locks of any sort with that kind of customer service read more

Such a pleasure working with Phil! My toddler locked our bedroom and Phil not only came over to fix it in a timely manner, he also made keys that we were missing for other locks in the home. One of my bolts accidentally broke (combine incorrect initial installation with old age and harsh wear and tear from my husband's roughness) during a keying process, and he willingly replaced it free of charge although it wasn't his fault. Phil earned a good review. Talked with several locksmiths to handle a patio door lock to meet code for a residential rental property. All but one other told me I couldn't do what I wanted to do because of code. I looked up codes and without mentioning I was an ambulance chaser (not exactly!) asked if maybe they were misinterpreting the code? Mike was the guy who said, "You know, my colleagues and I have always interpreted that way, ' but let me check. Maybe we've been looking at it wrong.'" He checked and got back to me next morning. "You're right. You CAN do it that way." Not the absolute cheapest, but yes, he's competitive. He had to order the part I wanted, which he got quickly. Phil communicated well, confirming information with me couple of times before heading to job, to make sure I got what I needed. Good service. Fair, not the cheapest, for intelligent, problem solving service, so no EXTRA holes drilled in my brand new door as others told me was unavoidable. Kudos to Phil. I recently bought a new house and wanted to get the locks changed fairly quickly since the listing agent has still not come to remove the lockbox from the front of the house. Phil is amazing! He is very experienced and professional. I called for help around 7:15pm today because of my brother being locked out of his own house with only a cell phone running out of power. I contacted this business to have all the locks rekeyed at my house. Phil came out and I discussed with him the various combinations I wanted of different keys and a master key for the locks on the various doors. He worked very efficiently and quickly.
