So I called them today because I locked my keys in the car. I called and ask for a quote and time frame. They gave me the info I needed. I told them I'll call back if I decide to use their services. 15 minutes later I get a return call and they asked if I still needed them. So I had been having issues with my car trying to get it to start so, I decided to search for a locksmith because I initially thought it was my car key that needed to be replicated. On yelp, I ended up coming across Skilled Locksmith which was near and they could drive out to my place to create me a replacement key. Alex, arrived and checked out my car to see what was going on and it turned out being that I needed to get my ignition repaired and that the key wasn't the issue so I proceeded with the service. Alex was super prompt so in total it took less than an hour for him to create a new key and repair the ignition. I made an appointment for the following Friday between 10-12 in the morning. He confirmed this time and date. He never showed nor called to cancel. I was moving out of my house in the Heights the movers had stolen my key and key fob so we had to call a locksmith we call these people my mother and my sister went and met them where my car was still at the storage unit on Yale and I-10 the guy showed up in front hour and a half did not program the key fob to the key so when my mom and my sister came back they failed to tell me that it was programmed but we paid them $200 we were in such a hurry to get out because quarantine started the very next day and we were going to Austin that they told me on the way so I called the guy and I said hey why would you not finish the job and take the $200 he was extremely rude and I said please when I come back into town in a month or two I would like you to program my key fob he said okay when I came back to town who is extremely rude he wouldn't show up when you told me to meet him at places when I finally got to him I couldn't get the key fob out from the side of my seat in my car and he said he had to go he couldn't wait any longer and he left since then have locked my key in my car like five times because it doesn't have a hole in it where you can put a keychain and it's so easy to lose he has refused to come help me he has refused to come meet me he has refused to program the key fob and he hangs up on me he's extremely rude and unprofessional I would never recommend this company to anyone $200 down the drain read more
