This business was the first one to respond to my request for a locksmith. My husband lost his keys at work and needed his doors unlocked and a new key made. These guys said $140; which was the cheapest quote that I received. REMEMBER: you pay for what you get. It was already shady on yesterday when they were the first person to respond but stated that they could not get to me until 5 hours later and still arrived another hour late on top of that. So obviously they are not the ones to call if you have an emergency lock out, because they can't get to you until 5-6hrs later.
***When they came it took them 2-3hrs to make a new key and it only worked for the ignition, not the doors. When the original key worked for everything and the make and model only uses 1 key. He told me before he left that he could return the next day to place a keyless entry for him for $40. I called him as soon as he left and asked what time could he come on tomorrow. He gave me some excuse about "let me check with dispatch to see what we have going on for tomorrow" (but didn't you just say that you can come on tomorrow, but all of a sudden you are not for sure?). So then my husband called me very upset and explained to me that he felt like they were bs'ing. I then sent a message stated that my husband was upset and if it is anything that can be done.( as you see below but as you can see those messages are surprisingly missing from the other messages but the messaging system is connected. Where did they go?) This now makes sense of why he didn't respond back but instead he called and told me that he would be out for to us for 7am, before his day started. I agreed. I switched my morning appointments around to make this happen as well.***
So I contacted them early this morning to see if he wanted to come earlier because he stated that he starts his day at 8am. Because we really appreciated the fact that he was willing to break his neck to get everything completed for us early this morning since he didn't the day before, at least that's what he said he was going to do.
Number 1 thing about having a business (I have 4 small businesses) is to build trust. But it obviously sounds like he just didn't want to get out of his bed and uphold the word he promised to us. Instead wanting us to drive alllll the way out to meet him on the other side of town when that was not the agreement.
I was empathizing with them on yesterday because I seen how hard they were trying. But then I realized that my husband was absolutely correct and didn't understand why he was paying for a service (no matter if it was $3 or $300) that could not be completed at 100%. If his original key worked for everything, then why "trained professionals" who get paid to complete a service not be able to replicate the same thing? But then leave, and leave his car doors unlocked? So now we have a key to start it and the doors are unlocked, but the mf is fully accessible because we can't lock the doors? Wtf???
You have to do what it takes to get things done to protect your name and whatever service that you provide.
Word from the wise: If you're not willing to put in the work and effort, just give it up.
This was not a way to do good business at all.
On a positive note: they unlocked the car very fast and was very polite. read more
